Mis Amores Mexican Restaurant PERMANENTLY CLOSED

Took my girlfriend and her kids here for dinner and we all were very pleased with our meals. This kids are fussy eaters but liked what they had saying it wasn't too strong or spicy for them. us grown ups liked our meals too and for families this is good value.

My husband and I had dinner at Mis Amores for the first time tonight. I had Cheesy Enchiladas with Chicken and he had a Pork Chimichanga Supreme. Both dishes were great! The service is outstanding and we will definitely be back, and are certain to recommend Mis Amores to all our friends.

Again, we took friends and returned for a wonderful meal. We are planning a birthday party there next week and out of concern, I paid close attention to items mentioned in previous reviews. I would like to add my opinion on some comments. The chip containers, are the greatest. I know the metal containers can be sanitized in a better fashion than straw or plastic baskets. This is the best option. I visited the restroom and found it as cool has the rest of the building. Even though they were very busy, we were given excellent service and never once had to request anything. The decor was clean and comfortable. Parking was plentiful and the staff was very friendly and professional. The owner went out of his way and showed sincere concern in meeting my special diet needs I requested. This business is sure to be a great addition to Palm Coast.

Dined here last night and had a very good experience. Everything tasted fresh and was excellent value. Service was friendly and food came out very quickly. Nice addition to our restaurant scene.

First time here and ordered a combo plate which was a burrito and enchilada with rice and refried beans. Everything was awesome and i really liked the green sauce, much better than red IMHO. Service could smile more but that's kids these days. Nice place and I'm pleased we finally have a good Mexican here.

Great food and great service. It's about time Palm Coast had a really good Mexican restaurant! The staff were friendly and quick. We will be going back for sure.

Had dinner here Monday with a friend. Very pleasant experience. Food excellent, service good, atmosphere very nice. I will be back and will recommend it to others.

The BEST Mexican place I have been to yet... VERY impressive selection as well as taste! Everything is extremely FRESH and you can tell the authenticity with each savory bite. This truly is a gem and I am so thrilled it is in Palm Coast. If you have not tried it.... PLEASE go now! You will not be disappointed if you love Mexican food! The employees are very friendly and the environment is extremely clean. The only thing that needs a little work on is speed, for lunches on the go, other wise no complaints at all.

I love the food here. It's flavors are great and there are some excellent dishes for those on a budget. My husband is addicted to their burritos and ordered three at once on our last visit! My only complaint is the server we keep getting doesn't seem very happy and mumbles everything. Welcome to Palm Coast Mis Amores and I'm delighted you're here.

I agree the younger staff members need to smile more! They all look so serious! But food and everything is great here and I am a loyal customer. Always trying different items and shrimp enchiladas are my favorite so far.

Food was good, although I didn't understand why everything was loaded with cabbage. I like cabbage, but I've never had it in Mexican food... must be a CA thing. Staff was friendly, they just seemed a little understaffed, but it IS still new. Prices were good, portions were typical. It would have been nice to have a glass of Sangria with dinner, although I think they will be getting a liquor license soon, from the looks of it. The only BAD thing was that our chips tasted stale. In their defense, we did not bring it to their attention, and it did not stop my boyfriend from eating them all! Cabbage salsa was very refreshing! I am sure soon enough down the road the interior will look more finished on our next visit!

I have been here a few times now since it opened and totally love it! The food is excellent and portions very large. My only complain is that I wish the young servers would smile more. They seem so unhappy working there, but the owner seems very nice so I'm sure he's treating them well LOL

I am not a Mexican type of food person but since I was going out with some friends they wanted Mexican. I was very impressed with the service and food. Everyone in my group where very happy with their meals and we will all return again.

I have to say this was the best dining out experience I have had in a long time (we go out all the time).

Thumbs up to the new Mexican restaurant in Palm Coast. I'm so glad that Gordon and Rosita chose Palm Cost to open their business. Gordon greats all his guest warmly and makes sure your dining experience is pleasurable. There is great service by the waiters and they are very attentive. I love Mexican food and vow to try every item on their menu. So far I have eaten there 5 times and loved every meal that has been served to me. The servings are large and filling even for the lunch specials. Try their Quesadillas Supreme with green sauce. Rosita is truly a wonderful chef.

I wasn't going to write a review as there's not much I can say that hasn't be said already, but I think they deserve the credit. This is a warm and inviting nice family run restaurant that serves very good home food at reasonable prices. Staff are all friendly and it's nice to be appreciated which is rare with many other restaurants around here. I just hope they keep this up! Also in response to the reviewer below about not serving alcohol, it does say so on the restaurant info page.

Nothing but good! Everything we had was very tasty and hot and fresh. The staff friendly and prices right on the money for Palm Coast. Would like to see beer served soon though.

So happy to have a good Mexican restaurant in Palm Coast. Food and service was fast, and our waiter was very nice. So, go eat and have fun. The prices are fine and you get a lot of food.

My wife and I went to Mis Amores Mexican Restaurant last night for our anniversary based on the reviews on this site. So as we arrived we were pretty enthusiastic about some quality Mexican food. I'm sorry but I don't agree with all the 5 stars posted here. First, this establishment doesn't serve alcohol. How can a Mexican restaurant not have beer or margaritas?! That's just not right. Wife noticed that their chips appear to be served in dog bowls. Not a big deal as long as they were never used as dog bowls, but still, that's not typical. We ordered the Queso Dip for our appetizer and had to wait close to 20 minutes. Seems long for a single appetizer, especially melted cheese, but not a big deal. Another 25 minutes later we got our entrees. The wife got the steak fajita and I got the Steak Con Queso. I will say that the food was quite tasteful. I do wish they gave us at least one more tortilla each as we each only got 2 for our respective meals. After finishing our meal I visited the restroom to wash up. It was clean, but a total sauna. It seems like their AC system doesn't blow into their bathrooms. I'm sorry, but that's just cheap. No one wants to sweat when they go to the bathroom to freshen up. Overall, it was a decent experience, but certainly not deserving of 5 stars as many others have.

I must be the last person in town to check this place out! It's a very welcoming and friendly restaurant and they're grateful for your business. The food was wonderful and full of flavor. Portions were huge for me so must not make this place too much of a habit ;-) This is a great local restaurant and I'm happy they're here. Keep up the good work.

Another latecomer to review this wonderful place. Everything was Fresh, Fresh, Fresh, and perfectly seasoned. This couple has found the perfect recipe to keep Palm Coasters happy. I have always preferred the West coast version of Mexican food with its emphasis on fresh ingredients. The beans and rice served with the entrees were almost overkill, but I noticed that no one turned them down. :)
