This place won't win any awards for gourmet food, but you do get a big selection of reasonable items that taste quite good. Desserts are really awesome... read more!

I love the selections of food. Wished we had one in our area. I drive from Holly Hill whenever I get a chance. The man who serves the steaks can be a little nicer.

I mean "didn't I just give you a steak'? It is all I can eat and if I want a steak then I should be able to have a steak.

We didn't care for this place at all. For the price you can get quality food elsewhere and be waited on.

The name fits the place. The atmosphere is unpleasant. Waiting in those lines, you are just like cattle. By the time you get to the guy cooking the steak or whatever he is fixing, he doesn't have any more and you give up. The food, mass produced and sitting around all the time, all tastes the same. The salad section is quite good, and the dessert area as well. But the central section with the main and most popular foods needs a vast improvement. It isn't that cheap either. So why bother?

I have been there at least 4 times and each time I eat the food I love and enjoy it. I come from Daytona/ Holly Hill Area, I wish we had one here. However, I enjoy the ride to Palm Coast and it is well worth it. The only issue I had is with the waiters/waitresses, they move a little bit too slow for me.

I was so impressed with this Restaurant, I will definitely be returning, as I have been already. I come here from Port Orange once a week, normally Saturday/Sunday. I have also had their dinner buffet and it is the best around. Too bad there isn't one here in the Daytona Beach area! Keep up the good work and kudos to you all.

We had eight in our party. We all were very pleased with the selection and variety of foods they had to offer. If you didn't care for something you weren't stuck with it. leave it and find something else. To many times I have been disappointed else where. Overall I think it was great. Welcome to Palm Coast, long over do!

This is a nice place to dine if you want some good old-fashioned home-style cooking. There's lots of choices, including a well stocked salad bar and lots of hot dishes. We like the rotisserie chicken, real mashed potatoes, fresh baked rolls and the assortment of vegetables. The service has always been pleasant. Bring your appetite!

My husband and I went there tonight for dinner and it was great! This was our first time there and we will definitely be back again. The place was a little crowded but now we know why. Service was excellent, also!

Unfortunately, I find nothing endearing about this restaurant at all. The restaurant itself feels very cramped and crowded and is not very relaxing or comfortable. You have to eat from colored plastic plates and bowls that make you feel like you're at a children's party. The food is very low rate. Most was dry and either had no flavor or a very strange flavor. Entree's reminded of me making something very limited and bland so your kids will eat it! Salad bar was old with most items missing. Bread rolls were soggy as if they had been soaked in grease. Vegetable were so over cooked they had lost all color - Brussels sprouts were very pale green and like mush. Desert bar is basically made up of different colored pies of very sweet filling and imitation cream. Judging by the colored plastic plates and the type of food, I would guess this restaurant is catering to young children. For adults, there are some much better choices in Palm Coast than Golden Corral. 1 star awarded only for the friendly and helpful girl at the front counter.

I guess you just cannot please everyone. My wife and I ate there last night and enjoyed everything we had. Being our first time at the golden corral we did not know what to expect but were pleased with the staff and the selection of food. Thank you Golden Corral for picking Palm Coast as a new location.

I know many people enjoy this place, but after my second visit I still see nothing good about it! Everything I had was terrible... the pork chops were like shoe soles, roasted chicken was very salty and slimy, the Asian dishes were too sweet with no flavor, vegetables were way over cooked and just about everything else I tried was either wilted, dry or over seasoned. Even the ice cream was flavorless and not creamy at all. Of the dinner buffet and drink coming to over $12 I could have a much better meal elsewhere. I agree with what others have said, this is quantity over quality!

Finally had dinner there last night and was very pleased. Granted, you aren't going to get 5 star quality food at a Golden Coral, however, everything I had was fresh and tasty. The variety of food is excellent and the desert bar was huge! Definitely worth the visit.

Just took my family for breakfast and they had a great selection. I did not know where to start. My wife had a fresh made omelet and the kids loved the chocolate chip pancakes. I myself had the chipped beef which I have not had since I was a kid. what a treat. Definitely worth it, much better than going to Denny's or Perkins.

I have visited many Golden Corrals and this was the best one that I have been to. The bars are always full and the food very tasty. I was impressed on how friendly the staff was and how clean the place is kept. Many kudos to that team, very impressed and I will definitely be back. The quality and quantity of food we received for the price is unmatched.

OK if you like a mass of fried food in a cramped restaurant. Food was very fatty and had little flavor. I prefer one very good entree instead of 50 mediocre ones.

We found the food at Golden Corral to be very average. It is quite well presented and displayed, but some of the selections do need to be labeled. The dining areas are not very comfortable and service is sparse. I did enjoy a couple of the items but most were just low grade meats. I'd rather spend my money on someplace a little less like a cattle feed and more civilized.

Sorry, but not very impressed at all with Golden Corral. The seating is very on top of each other and when you first enter you have to walk around with your drinks tray looking for a clean table. The food is plentiful, nearly everything I had needed seasoning and was not very flavorful. Servers were gathering to chat where I had to get back to my table and I had to keep asking them to move. Service and drink refills were slow. The price is cheap so I didn't have too high expectations, but I would rather see less items on the buffet that were of better quality.

This place seems to be the culinary version of being a jack of all trades and master of none. Their Asian selections don't compare to the food at local Asian restaurants and their Mexican items are not as good as Taco Bell's. BBQ, steaks, and other entrees are very mediocre. Also, vegetables were overcooked and with them swimming in water made them very mushy. This is quantity over quality and I'm sure it will remain a popular dining choice for those on a budget.

No surprises here! This is mass feeding of low-mid quality food in a mega buffet style. The salad bar was quite good but most of the entree selections were like cans emptied on the buffet. Lots of fried items like fish and okra plus the vegetables were over cooked and almost flavorless. Desert bar was OK. Soft serve tasted like water! Service was slow but the restaurant was packed and new.

Don't expect high quality here and just go if you want a lot of cheap food. The cold bar is nice to have in town, though.
