Golden Corral PERMANENTLY CLOSED

Seriously? We always see a lot of cars outside so decided to see what the fuss is about, and since (barely) eating there we are even more perplexed why this place is so popular. It reminds of bad school lunch food! Over processed and over salted junk food! Just about everything I got from the buffet was tasteless and over cooked canned or frozen garbage. How can you even make lettuce taste bad? The seating area feels like a school too and service just mediocre. Care about what you put in your body and find somewhere else to eat.

Went her for the first time recently. The food was good and there's a nice variety. The deserts are awesome. Atmosphere is not what you come here for.. . There were more overweight and obese people here than I have ever seen in one place before.

Can not beat the price for the variety of good food.

We are snow birds and live in Florida for 7 months a year. te Golden Corral is our only restaurant. Great food and wonderful efficient waitresses. We like all the food they offer.

I love the place! Where can you go to get an array of food like they serve at a price they charge? It is AAA+ for the type of restaurant they are! The manager is kind and friendly and it shows throughout the entire establishment. If I want fine dining, I will go elsewhere and expect to plop down at least $40 for lunch. Went to a sandwich shop, and it cost me $18 for 2. Do the math, folks.

For under ten dollars you have your choice of dozens of entrees, veggies, and desserts... and the dinner steak I got was excellent. For the huge volume of food they have to prepare...I know they try to do a good job, but like anything in life they have a failure from time to time..if that bothers you then go somewhere else... I personally like the place for what it is. When I want quiet and atmosphere, I go somewhere else.

I have to admit I said I would never go back here again but did after an invite from a friend, and found the food much better than it was a year or so ago. The buffet items were cooked better and tasted quite good. I liked the wings selection and mini crab sliders were good. Service was lousy though! It took a long time to be acknowledged by the server and drink refills almost non existent and dirty plates piled up. Atmosphere is not the best but it seemed clean. It was also a little expensive at nearly $11 for lunch!

My wife and I enjoyed the meal. Best bang for the buck in this area. We we're treated very well and the food was great. Glad you're around. Thanks.

My husband and I ate there today and was not overly impressed. I have eaten at lots of other Golden Corals and the food is a lot more tasteful. The greens were canned and bland, the cornbread was dry and hard, and The ribs were very fatty. This is just to name a few things. Personally, this was my first time at this location and will probably be my last.

Judging from past reviews, my family and I are not the only ones who had a negative experience. I took the time to write to the Golden Corral headquarters in Raleigh, NC, because this was absolutely the worst buffet experience my family and I have ever had.

The bathrooms were filthy, the food mediocre at best, and there was dried food on the plates, which were old, plastic, and badly scratched. Our table never got bussed and we had to put all of our dishes on another table where the people had left so that we wouldn't have to stare at our dirty plates while we ate dessert. I have never eaten at a Golden Corral before, but if this is what they are all like then I will certainly never waste my money again. My entire family was disgusted, and I felt embarrassed for even suggesting the place.

This is simply the worst place in Palm Coast . Why they get the business they do is beyond us. We have visited at least 5 times over the past 6 years. The salad dressings are watery; the produce is tasteless; the entrees and vegetables are cooked-to-death and inedible; even the iced tea is watered down and horrible. This place is an embarrassment to Palm Coast and I recently wrote a letter to their home office in Raleigh, N.C. We have been to other Golden Corrals - most recently one in Perry, Georgia. This was a great restaurant! So the problem is not necessarily all Golden Corrals - just the one in Palm Coast.

Large and broad selection of items but not impressed with how they tasted. Flavors not so great and heavily salted and most items over cooked so either too soggy or dried out. Salad was best option but was still nothing special. Deserts looked good but mostly had that chemical cream taste. Seating area not very nice with a feeling of a mess hall. Many plates and silverware had dried food on them! Even on a budget there are many better choices as it's not that cheap here. I won't be back!

Three of us went for the Easter dinner special and I have to say that even though it was really busy, everything ran very smoothly from the staff seating us to waiting a very short time to get our food. Everything was very fresh and the place was kept very clean for the amount of people coming and going. All in all it was a good meal.

I have eaten there twice since moving here.I was so looking forward to eating there sister in law was so pleased. She had told me of this place. I was so disappointed the food trays were mostly empty with dried foods. There was nothing exciting about eating here. You stand and wait for a few minutes while a guy pan fries you 8-10 little shrimp. Handicapped it hard to stand for shrimp if you're the 2n-3rd person in line. My first trip was disappointing. My next I figured it was just an off da .... repeat of my first visit. I think the place isn't for me.

Went for their breakfast buffet this morning and was not impressed. We arrived around 8am and expected everything to be fresh, but it seems like it had a lot of left overs from last weekend. The sausage links were hard as bullets and the patties like hockey pucks. No scrambled eggs! Every time I went to the buffet they still had not been replenished. Biscuits very greasy and gravy thick and gloppy. Mushrooms were soggy old canned type and French toast cold.

Server was nice but not very attentive. Leaning on another table chatting forever with friends and had to get her for coffee, which tasted soapy anyway.

Also had to laugh as before we had even sat down my receipt was stamped with a big check mark and the words "strongly agree". When I asked what that meant, she said it was for my excellent service and quality of food! Shame that wasn't lived up to! It's been four hours since we ate and I still have a horrible taste in my mouth!

I must admit that I do not like the atmosphere of the this restaurant. But we visited for breakfast last Sunday for the first time and it was very good. Lots of items to chose from and everything was fresh. Server was good and my only other complaint was that I wasn't too keen on their coffee. Overall they offer a good breakfast at a reasonable price.

Not as inexpensive as you would think... plus the guy in front paid less than me and he had no coupon! He seemed to know the girl at the register so I didn't feel good about that. Food looked OK but was not too impressed with quality and flavors although some items were good. Deserts were the worse! Atmosphere is horrid and feels cramped. Server was friendly and kept my drink refilled. Would be a better deal if price wasn't as high.

I loved the food. The seating area could be larger. The only negative comment I would have, is that there was no brown sugar for the sweet potatoes.
