I only found this restaurant a couple of months ago and love the food... the 2 ladies that work on Friday and Saturday nights are so sweet and friendly. No matter how busy they are they take great care of us. Great food and cold beer.

It's sucks... owners don't have a clue. No consistency with the food or ingredients, don't know how they keep going other than their beer sales.

I was in the area waiting for some equipment to be repaired so stopped in here to kill time. The name says a lot as it's like a step back in time to how I imagine an eatery would be in the 50's or 60's. It is a very friendly and unassuming place with mismatched tables and chairs plus games and a jukebox. Menu is limited and I played it safe and had soup and a grilled cheese. Both of which were actually quite good and very inexpensive and they had beer for only $3! I have to say I wouldn't come out here just for this but as I was here it was a very welcome place to kill time and people are more than decent.

Ole' Skool Mondex in Bunnell offers a humble Southern American dining experience with an affordable menu. Guests appreciate the friendly service, especially from the two women working Friday and Saturday nights who manage busy shifts with care. The atmosphere recalls a simpler era, featuring mismatched tables, games, and a jukebox, adding to the relaxed, informal vibe. The food receives mixed feedback; some find dishes like grilled cheese and soup comforting and good value, while others note inconsistency in ingredients and preparation. Beer is a popular offering, praised for its cold, budget-friendly price. While the setting and service create a welcoming, no-frills dining spot, the uneven food quality may limit its appeal for some visitors.
