Review of Turtle Shack by Bailey from Greensboro, NC
I have been coming to the Turtle Shack for over 200 years and although it's evolved the vibe and food have remained the same. Even with a busy house the staff cope very well and the quality of food does not suffer. I like so many dishes here and from the trigger fish to the burgers everything is delicious. The Turtle Shack is a must stop for anyone visiting the area.

The Turtle Shack is my go to place when I want a damn good burger, and they always satisfy. these are gourmet burgers here and the best I've found in Flagler Beach. Plenty of other great sandwiches and entrees too. Great seafood items. Staff are great and I love its rustic beachy vibes.

Arrived just as they were opening so got a great table... server was still setting up but still gave us a lot attention and good service. I have to say their Mahi Tacos are incredible and BF raved about the Sweet Hot Burger. The bisque is a must too... I wish had ordered a bowl instead of just a cup. This is an amazing little place and definitely worthy of all its attention.
Highlight of visit: The Mahi Tacos were flavorful and vibrant and the Crab and Grouper Bisque was so tasty and velvety.

The Shack hit a home run with a really delicious lunch today. The Avo Egg Rolls are a MUST and their Burgers are to die for. Our server rocked!

A simple shack place that serves more upscale food than you'd think based on its appearance. I really recommend the cobia tacos and the crab bisque was delicious. They seemed understaffed, but the staff who were there worked hard with smiles on their faces.

Came here for brunch on Sunday. Sat on front porch with decent views but cars and bikes loud and obstructive. Server was enthusiastic and did a great job getting around everyone. I had the Caribbean jerk trigger fish which was seasoned just right and the cilantro rice and pineapple slaw sides went so well with it. My husband enjoyed the St. Patrick's corned beef and potatoes special with stout. The Turtle Shack is a fav of ours and prices are good.

Our server was awesome and had lots of energy and good vibes... the 'shack is small and very, well, shackish LOL The food is not like its surroundings and is quite elevated and very delicious. Even a burger is not simple here... very impressive. You have to sample the Avo Egg Rolls... soooo good.

We're new in town and was told that the Turtle Shack is a must try so went today for lunch. It is a rickety place but the food that came out was much more high end. We were very impressed with the quality and flavors and it felt the most 'Floridian' of everywhere we had tried so far. Our server was a real pro and very friendly. The weather was chilly and I'm sure it will be an even greater experience on a warmer day sitting outside.
Highlight of visit: We tried the Crab Cakes which were excellent and the Trigger Fish was superb. The Ahi Tuna appetizer was also very good.

I've been coming to the Turtle Shack for about 20 years and I have to say that it's better now than it ever has been. The food is tasty and consistent, and they have a great staff. I always get the Bleu Chips or Egg Rolls to start, and love their burgers, tacos, and the Crab Cake sandwich. Keep going as is and I'll be happy.
Highlight of visit: The Bleu Chis with Bacon is a great starter, and it's either the Crab Cake or the Sweet Hot Burger for my favorite sandwich here.

We had an early lunch here today and sat inside at the bar. The staff were very friendly and responsive. My burger and fries were awesome and my dad said his fish and chips were excellent. The bar is small with about 6 stools and they have about 3 or 4 beers on tap. Not really a place for luxury but its food is definitely worth visiting for.
Highlight of visit: One of the best burgers I've had in a long time and my dad's fish and chips with Irish stout batter looked so good.

Highlight of visit: Blackened grouper sandwich with coleslaw. Best meal in Florida on this trip?

I love all the employees. I hate to complain. Ordered the crab cake sandwich today. It was totally different than the delicious one they had before. As soon as it was placed before me at the restaurant I could tell it’s now loaded with fillers. I paid $24 ugh will never recommend or order again.

There are many coastal hole in the wall joints like this along A1A in Florida but Turtle Shack is my favorite. Great vibes and very casual with laid back staff and very tasty food. I always start off with the Bleu Cheese Chips and get a sandwich, usually the Crabcake one, or Mahi Sandwich, or a Burger. It's all good at the Turtle Shack.

Fun beachy shack with excellent food and service. The super grouper was perfect! Good fries. My husband doesn't like fish but thought the chicken sandwich was very good. The server was a little distracted but we liked the casual vibe and view.
Highlight of visit: The Super Grouper jerk style is highly recommended.

Just ate there tonight for the first time. Small place overlooking the ocean off of A1A in Flagler Beach. Service started off great with three separate people coming to the table asking us if we wanted drinks, kind of went downhill after that. We didn’t see our waitress after the appetizers came out and she took our meal order.
Starters - New England clam chowder and shrimp cocktail. Both we delicious with the clam chowder being packed with clams, not as creamy an actual New England clam chowder, but still good.
Entrees- Honey glazed salmon and shrimp piccata. Salmon was cooked well and had a nice flavor. One of the sides never came out and since our waitress disappeared, we had to flag someone else to get it after the other party had already finished their meal.
Shrimp piccata was extremely salty. I would imagine that they did not drain and wash some of the salt off of the capers before adding them to the dish, but the linguine was undercooked and there was no lemon or actual taste to the dish….other than salt. This was one of the specials for $19.95.
All in all, it was an ok experience. Since there are many restaurants along the A1A strip, we most likely will not frequent this establishment again, the prices do not match the quality that comes out.
At least we can say we tried it!

Uber casual restaurant very laid back including the service. Food was good. Had a great grouper sandwich and the bleu chips appetizer was killer. Sat outside which was busy but views were blocked by a truck parked in front of us.

You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Chef really knows how to cook fish! Servers know what they are doing and all are friendly. Outside patio is great for dogs! I'm a widow and usually go alone. I've never felt out of place -- not even when I sit at the bar because of the crowds.

Cool little shack right over from the beach... outside is nice but they can remove the holiday stuff now! I ordered the crab cake sandwich and thought it was expensive, but it was well worth it! It's like an entree in a bun! The bleu chips are an awesome app. Service was very friendly but could have done with one more serving as it was too busy.
