    Always love going the Lion but you really do need the good weather to fully appreciate it fully. Service not always the best but the food is tasty, drinks very good and the atmosphere is fun. Bar good to sit at or go up top if a warm day.

    Best in Flagler Beach for atmosphere and view and a great place to relax. We love sitting at the tiki bar and the cocktails are always good. Service is always very friendly but can be slow at times especially the food. Fish and chips are amazing and portions generous. Top deck offers incredible views!

    Had a great time here today. Service was awesome, food really tasty and the drinks were right on. Views are incredible and prices are fare. The Coconut Shrimp Tacos are a must and thier margaritas go down so well. The best restaurant beachside in my opinion.

    Love the setting and vibes here! Get a good table on the upper deck and enjoy. Drinks and food are good although fish and chips have been a miss lately. Service can be slow sometimes but always friendly and prices are respectable. Just can't beat the beachy bar type atmopshere and live music sets the mood.

    I've been going to Golden Lion for over 15 years and almost always order what they are famous for, the fish 'n' chips. Today was my first visit since Summer and I was looking forward to having my favorite fish 'n' chips for lunch. After taking one bite, I was disappointed. The fish was rubbery and dry instead the usual moist flaky texture that I loved about this meal. I asked our waitress if they used another kind fish and was told they did change the fish used about 4 months ago. What a big disappointment! Bring the old fish 'n' chips back! It was what made Golden Lion famous!

    Visited Saturday and sat upstairs which was awesome with a nice breeze on a really hot day, plus the view is killer. Our food was excellent and the mixed drinks very good. I highly recommend the fish tacos and my GF loved her soy and ginger mahi mahi. The seats upstairs are not too comfortable though and the service was kind of slow. But we were in no rush and enjoyed our experience here.
