Went this morning for breakfast and it was crazy busy! Had to park down on A1A and wait for a table and finally got a table outside which was very pleasant. Couldn't find any fault in the service or the food. They have some good breakfast choices and I ordered the Shrimp & Grits which were absolutely delicious. Coffee was fresh and nicely smooth. This is a top notch place and glad to see it's becoming very popular.

Lovely cute place in a nice settings of oaks and hammock scrub. The menu is full of homemade from scratch goodies and the Rodie Eggs Benedict is one of their specialties I recommend, but everything tastes exceptional. Staff provide a warm welcome and ensure you leave satisfied. It may appear rustic at firs but it's truly a first class establishment.

Highlight of visit: Rodie Eggs Benedict

Found this restaurant when driving on A1A back from St. Augustine so stopped for brunch. The French Toast and Quiche were both very good and their spicy grits side were excellent. Coffee could do with a boost though! Service is friendly and it has a country diner type pf feel with open kitchen etc.

Very few breakfast choices in the Hammock area but Rodie's always pleases. Everything delicious and especially enjoy the Eggs Benedict... their Hollandaise is tasty and creamy and eggs perfectly poached. Owner and staff make you feel welcome and the vibe is very laid back. Overall an excellent place for a casual breakfast or lunch.

Rodie's is our go to weekend breakfast spot. Love everything on the menu specifically the Eggs Benedict which has a very unique and delicious twist. Their Spicy Grits are an essential side to any dish. Staff are friendly and atmosphere homey.

Noticed Rodie's when going to Washington Oaks a while ago but it was busy so thought we'd try again this morning for breakfast. Got there early and a table people started to arrive. Everyone inside is very friendly and welcoming but they have a couple of old systems we didn't like such as paying at the counter, which I'm sure wouldn't work well for the server's tips. However, they have some specialty items on the menu that sounded interesting so I had the Eggs Benedict that uses cauliflower bread and crab cakes, which actually worked very well and was quite tasty. My partner had the sausage and gravy and said it was just OK, but he did really like the side of spicy grits. It definitely makes a change from the usual breakfast options in Palm Coast but somewhere I'd visit too often.

Sitting outside was lovely and service was outstanding. Our breakfasts were well prepared and delicious. They make a superb quiche and wonderful pancakes. Prices and quality on par.

The Rodie Egg Benedict was an interesting twist on the classic dish but worked very well. Bit pricey at $14 but tasted excellent. Very much a low country feel inside with hospitable staff. Would like to try for lunch one day as their sandwiches sounded good.

Roadies did not impress. We had lunch there. Over-priced and small portions . Small coffee was almost $4.00. Wait staff made us feel like we were doing them a favor by being there.

Ordered the breakfast bowl which was very tasty and very filling. Husband enjoyed his pancakes and raved about the spicy grits. Nice sitting out on the porch and owner stopped by to chat briefly. Looked very clean everywhere and nice to have in the Hammock area.

Had no clue this place was here until we saw it on a bike ride. The do breakfast all day which is good to know but we had lunch sandwiches. It seems like everything on the menu is quite standard but with their own added twist. We had a Pastrami and a Foil Dog. Both came with home made chips and the hot dog definitely hot the spot whereas the pastrami was reasonable. Quite nice inside but TV's need to go! We'd come again and try breakfast as that looked good.

Shrimp and grits... shepherd's pie (It was Irish night!), and rueben --- everything was wonderful! Fresh-made/cut fries ....the desserts were wonderful! We ordered one of each and shared and brought some home! This was the best find ever on our meander up A1A! Even in the pandemic, we enjoyed a great meal on the patio - the owners were so friendly and accommodating! So glad we stopped there, and hope to visit again soon!

Highlight of visit: Shrimp and grits... yum!!!!

Interesting place tucked away off A1A. Immaculately clean and open for breakfast and lunch. I have been a few times now and each time the food was awesome. His Eggs Benedict is the best especially with the cauliflower (sounds odd but it works) and the Foil Dog is so good. Rodie basically takes traditional foods and puts a creative twist to them. I highly recommend you see for yourself.

Very welcoming and owner chatty. Menu is basic diner type food but is cooked well and very tasty. A heartwarming and stomach satisfying place hidden away in Hammock... worth seeking out!

Very cute and friendly place in the Hammock with a casual and relaxing atmosphere. Had an amazing breakfast and the shrimp and grits is to die for. I really don't like the plastic knives, forks and plates though! Food doesn't taste so good on them and it cheapens the place, especially as the prices are quite high!

Nice to have a place like this open in The Hammock. It's a mom and pop type of place in a new cottage building with an open kitchen and miss-matched tables and chairs. It's very home-style and casual with no real personal table service and it feels like you're at a park picnic with styrofoam plates and plastic knives and forks. But it does have personality and it's very friendly. It's mostly a breakfast all day joint with lunch options such as burgers and sandwiches. I had a breakfast bowl and my wife the French toast, and both were good but quite heavy and not something we could eat everyday.

The setting is very nice and it could be so much better as a nice sit down and eat restaurant instead, that offered some lighter options.

I have mixed feeling about this restaurant. I did like the food which was called the Foil Dog that had an amazing Key Lime BBQ sauce with bacon and cheese... very satisfying! On the negative, I just don't like the type of self service and cheap plastic ware. I much prefer a server and hate the get up and down all the time to find a menu, place the order, get a drink, etc. It feels like they're cutting costs by putting the burden on the customer, without charging any less! Also, it had been raining before I got there and they have a dirt parking lot, so my car's interior got very dirty from our shoes. I wouldn't personally go back I recommend anyone try it if they don't mind this type of establishment.
