Hammock Wine & Cheese PERMANENTLY CLOSED

Stopped in to check this place out as we also pass it and were curious. They have a nice ambiance with an outdoor area that has nice lighting and seating and a stage area for live music. It took a while to get the service started but once it did it was good. They make a very good sangria and we ordered some tapa sized plates that were tasty and I partially liked the Baba Ganoush. The party next to us had a stuffed pretzel that looked impressive. We thought it was pricey here but it does have a touch of elegance and seems to attract a much better clientele than the other A1A beach bars.

Interesting place with a nice courtyard area and good entertainment when we were there. Staff friendly but needed to be more attentive. Reasonable selection of wines and the house cab was very respectable. If you like wine under the stars, this is worth a stop.

I didn't realize this place had such good sandwiches! Wife and I had one each and split them and were very impressed. The curried chicken with cranberry was awesome, and the Soprano was good too. The ambiance is romantic but the service is just OK and could be more attentive.

Two things to note about this establishment is that it's really an outside restaurant so make sure the weather is nice before going, and also it's quite slow so you can expect to be there a while, which is fine if you have plenty of time but not for a quick lunch. However, it did have a nice atmosphere and the live music was entertaining, and our cheese board was excellent with a good selection of flavors and textures. The house wine was very palatable. Not too cheap but had a very pleasant evening.

Left with a very mixed feeling from our experience here. Their best feature is the setting outside which had a good vibe and we had a good chat with other customers. The food was reasonable but the recommended wine wasn't one we'd order again. The waitress seemed like she was filling in and had no people skills. Prices high! One customer we spoke with said that the place is up for sale and they're just keeping it afloat until sold and not what it used to be.

Good music schedule and excellent menu and wines. Cheese boards are incredible and the stuffed pretzels are a must. Outdoor area has good ambiance but cigar smoke can be very off putting. Service good but was too gossipy.

Primarily an outdoor place with some good dining choices, excellent wines and good entertainment. Great place to spend a weekend evening hanging out while enjoying cheeseboards and sampling wines. Good mix of people but can be on the pricey side.

Surprisingly good pizza! I didn't even know they sold it until a friend brought some over during quarantine and it was excellent. Ordered from there twice since. Wanted to in the garden area but weather made it unpleasant. Next time.

We were majorly impressed with Hammock Wine & Cheese. Everything (except the weather lol) was awesome. Wines are very reasonably priced and our selection of tapas were all wonderful and the flatbread was delicious. The cheeseboards looked amazing and will try next time. This is a great find and completely unexpected. Bravo.

I never knew this was here and what a wonderful find. Everything was delightful from the food to the wine to the service and even the music was was superb. Totally recommend it. Try the Jumbo Pretzel!

Good live music in a cool wine garden atmosphere. Nice selection of cheeses offered and the cheese platters arrive looking and tasting awesome. Wine reasonably priced. Nice sophisticated place to hang.

Amazing atmosphere and great place to enjoy a lively and sophisticated evening. Really enjoyed the live music and the food was superb... especially the Stuffed Pretzel! Very unique. Knowledgeable staff and although pricey it's all worth it.

I tried this place for the first time recently and I was extremely disappointed. We had several questions and the owner acted like he was doing us a favor. I got up and left. I do not pay to be treated like filth... This guy was awful... Went north a few miles and settle for Pizza... Left before we had a chance to try anything... and glad we did!

Great gem of a place to sit and unwind with friends and enjoy . It's nicely situated in the Hammock under mature trees and has a unique setting for Palm Coast. Owner is super friendly and hospitable and clearly enjoys being a good host. We love their boards with my favorite being the Middle Eastern and my wife loves the Stuffed Pretzel. Wine choices are excellent and never had a bad selection. Live entertainment adds to the experience although it is much more enjoyable in warmer nights. It's not a cheap night out but worth it for a splurge.

This is a very classy and relaxing place to enjoy good wines and wonderful tapas/cheeseboards. They have a great selection of wines from local to global. Service is top notch and entertainment was very enjoyable. Decor and plants etc. add to the atmosphere.

We love the atmosphere here especially in the warmer weather as you really have to sit in the garden. They often have live music that sets the mood nicely and we enjoy their cheese and wine selections. Our biggest complaints is that it is expensive and we wish they had a few more menu items. But as a one in a while treat it's a nice place for a sophisticated date night.
