Review of Funky Pelican by Bryant from Palm Coast
Always have a good time here with its fun atmosphere and great views. Nice to watch surfers and beach goers as you dine. The Shrimp and Grits and the Jambalaya are awesome and their cocktails can be really over the top but all have tasted good. We've never had a bad meal or service here and we visit often.
Highlight of visit: Maddie's Shrimp and Grits

Been a few times and always like the food and love the views and setting. Service is on or off though. Wife loves their salads and I like their Fish Mac sandwich. Good mixed drinks and cold beers.

One of only a couple of restaurants in Flagler that are actually oceanfront. The atmosphere is fun and the food is quite good. The Twisted Mac & Cheese is awesome and well worth trying! Service friendly but can be slow some days but who cares when you have that view!

Went here with another couple. The view of the ocean is nice, but the service ? Not here. We waited for about a half hour and no one showed up... we then decided to cut our losses and depart... never to return.

I have eaten here a few time but last night I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. I love sitting on the deck and the wait staff were awesome. But the food was dry and over cooked. If I have to be honest the food isn't worth the price. We had the gator bite and calamari for appetizers. It was OK. I wouldn't have it again. While my kids had the chicken tenderloins, I had the Caribbean Combo and I do not recommend it. The fish was dry and over cooked along with the shrimp. I personal wouldn't not return here anytime soon. I think their are better restaurants on the beach side.
