Review of Brooklyn Mike's Pizza by April from Palm Coast
Stopped in for a quick lunch on work break but service was slow and only just made it back in time. But had a calzone which was delicious and very filling and my colleague said her stromboli was very tasty. Nicely decorated inside and prices good.

Food is outstanding! This is a real gem from Brooklyn! Calzones, pasta are my favorite there. And real Italian coffee!

I had a problem with ordering and getting the order corrected (missing items) and staff attitude was on the customer is always wrong side, but we did like the pizza and salads weren't bad, but the baked ziti was nothing special. Attitudes need work as it was just not a restaurant that you leave feeling good.

I ordered Brooklyn Mike's through Uber Eats since the restaurant's website said they would not deliver to us, only to find out that their own staff delivers through Uber Eats...guess they want the extra fees!!
We received our order 2 hours late...I called to get an update and was told they were on their way...that took an hour and I am only 15 minutes away. When we received the delivery, there were things missing from the order, and what was delivered was horrible. A meatball hero with 3 small meatballs it was the worst food I have had since living in Florida. DO NOT waste your time or money. I called them to let them know that I was missing items and was told I would get a credit, well that never happened. Now I am disputing the entire charge...Horrible Experience

I ordered today from Grubhub. I ordered 6 garlic knots that were so dry, they must of been two days old. I also ordered a gyro. The meat was so crispy, not even edible. Don't waste your money. Really, I thought the place would get better over time... lol

Today I had the most amazing time for lunch. I think the owner Mike was serving the table for me & my friends, Donna and Paul. They took me out for comfort food from a little bit of challenge in my daughters life. Mike was adorable and just made my day. He was attentive and entertaining. Everything was delicious and perfectly made. I would definitely go back 100 times over.
Highlight of visit: We had a huge vegetable pizza with eggplant, peppers, mushrooms, spinach, onions it was fantastic. We also had the freshest soup I ever tasted along with a Greek salad and antipasto salad. We then topped it off with a tiramisu and some zepoli with caramel sauces perfectly made. Everything was delicious. Thank you Mike for making my life a little bit easier. See you soon.

I ordered pizza today from there and was the worst pizza in a long time I ate in Palm Coast. The pizza was not even done and they didn't even send all my food to me in my order for delivery. Cant call the number online is wrong so now what.
Highlight of visit: Cheese sticks.

I don't like all those weird pizzas with BBQ or Buffalo sauce so just settled for a classic Margherita pizza, which was actually quite good. Crust and flavor good but It could of done with some more tomato sauce. Staff were friendly but service on the slow side and the atmosphere is very off... it's too big and stark and not cozy like a neighborhood pizza place should be, and the pool table doesn't add to the experience either. I would order the pizza for delivery or pick up but not dine in again.

We enjoyed our food! It arrived in a timely manner and the driver was friendly. We tried it when it was Sami's and were disappointed, nice to see the turnaround with new management.
Highlight of visit: Our calzone was excellent. Calamari was nice and crispy!

Brooklyn Mike's? Sami's? I don't know LOL Seems to be having an identity crisis here but whatever it's called the food is about average an the same as what you get just about anywhere else. Nothing great and noting unique or exciting. Just same old boring pizza joint stuff. Not my thing but OK if it's yours I guess.

I prefer to support local shops instead of the chain franchises but unfortunately this isn't much better. First time I ordered pizza, calzone and a couple of dishes for pick up but wasn't ready when I arrived and had a long wait, so the second time I ordered just a pizza for delivery and it too took forever! Plus, it was kind of messy and really needed more seasoning... my wife added some so we could finish it! I know the new guy has just taken over and hopefully will improve. I recommend because although it wasn't great it was a slight step up from Domino's across the street.

I have been ordering from Sami's for last 13 years I have lived here. The customer service has improved 100% from previous owners but I am sad to say the food has taken a downward turn. Although flavor was spot on with Philly cheesesteak the new bread they use is too much for the ingredients and was burnt on the ends. The cheese pizza was over cooked as well & arrived cold, the antipasto salad was nothing like you used to be very skimpy; I realize things are tough right now for the restaurant industry so i will give them that about portion size. All & all not worth the money on this visit but will give them another try...maybe an off night!

Totally upset. We order pizza from here all the time tonite. I ordered online and asked for updates after an hour I had to call to get status girl said oh he’s on his way, it’s not here I live 10 min away. After 15 min I call again and now I’m told GPS has him 8 miles away so I wait again for another 15 minutes. I asked for contactless and the driver stands outside ringing my bell and shaking his hair all over my pizza box and bag. I used my ring to tell him it’s contactless and please don’t shake your hair over my food. His response was “ it’s in a box”. I open my order to find it’s not all there and now no one is answering phones. Pizzas cold and third of my order is missing

I have been going to Sami's for several years now and have seen its ups and downs. The food has always been good but now with the new owners I must say the service is 100% better. More attentive. 90% of the time I order a calzone and am never disappointed. Same with this new owner. Their marinara sauce is excellent. The Calzone though did shrink in size from the old owner to the new owner. I'm hoping it maybe just a "one off" situation. It seems all the Italian restaurants/Pizzeria's must have the same mold when it comes to making a Calzone.
Highlight of visit: Good food all around!

This place is now under new owners. Sorry to say but not the same. I always promoted the cheesesteak. Although the flavors were there the amount of steak and condiments barely filled the bread. Basically got half of a sandwich because both ends of the bread were void of any filling.
The pasta with the eggplant Parm, which itself was mediocre was not al dente but was under cooked.
The original owner had good food but was an arrogant loud mouth who berated not only customers but his staff as well. The next owners seemed to keep the food quality the same with great service. I can only hope that the new management will try harder to improve on the product that they serve. I do not know how long they have been there but I do wish them the best.

Tried Sami's for the first time and we were impressed with them. The owners are very friendly and our server was a charm. The pie was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. Atmosphere could be more cozy but it's clean and adequate. Not too close to our home but we'll be back for sure.

Sami's is close to where I work so drop in often for lunch. It's always been OK and acceptable but recently has definitely improved. It's much more friendly and the food is more flavorful. Nice place to grab a slice of some baked ziti. They're quite quick so good when you're short on time.

I think they have new owners here but everything is very much the same. Food isn't bad and their pizza and cheese steaks are actually very good. A few things on the menu are not too good though. I think this restaurant is actually too big so it doesn't feel very cozy or have much atmosphere especially as each time we've been in there was only people at 2 or 2 other tables.
Highlight of visit: Cheese steaks.

After ready some of the latest reviews on other sites like Zomato, I realized that I’m not alone. We have been regulars for a few months. I always wondered why they weren’t more busy, but after our experience, I know why. The food is good, although the portions are getting smaller. But that isn’t issue. We are in the customer service industry and small business owners. We know that this town is small so the customer experience is very important. On our LAST visit, while eating dinner ($72.00) the owner was yelling and abusing his staff. I made mention to our server and she replied by telling us that she has quit 6 times and that the table behind us just started coming back from 6 months ago after being called shit head in front of them. I told her that I was going to make a review about our experience and that is uncomfortable to witness. She proceeds to tell the owners son what we said and at check out he doubled down by say to us as we were paying “I know what you are doing, and my dad is the nicest man you’ll ever meet” I was shocked that he was saying this instead of apologizing. I was just about to speak with him about my experience but he beat me to it. I told him that we came in after working all day to relax and that this is the last thing we wanted to experience is staff being yelled at. He made us feel as though we were the bad guys. Like I said, this is a small town, you can have the best food, the nicest things, but if people feel like crap by the owner when you leave, Good luck. Reading all of the reviews, this is habitual. There is enough abuse going on in our world, I don’t need it while eating dinner. They need to shut off their TVs (nasty news) and play some Chill Radio.
