Review of Brooklyn Mike's Pizza by Drew from Palm Coast
The pizza is perfect, service great, and the atmosphere is always clean! This is the only place aside from Bruno's that I will go to, it is that good.

Best pizza I ever had here in Florida. It feels just like up north city pizza . I also order food from there to. Love the restaurant, love Sammi yelling reminds me of my girlfriends family where they all yelled ay dinner time. It just bought back my childhood again wonderful memories. Please go there and enjoy the food, the decor and the yelling , it's just like entertainment. Enjoy

I've ordered out twice so far. Got the calzone and then the Philly steak. Food was awesome both times. I want to eat inside because I do like that it's so spacious. The owners and girls behind the counter were very friendly to me. I didn't experience any of the yelling of the owners or anything like that. But I come from a large Italian family so the yelling doesn't bother me. Us Italians like to express ourselves....anyway...I digress. Food was really really good and the others in my office also raved about theirs. I didn't get it, but the Italian sub was a big hit when we ordered for other people. The price is OK too. The Philly sub was $6.95 for a 12" and subway i end up paying that same price for what i get. I am typing as I eat my Philly steak and it is something like my 80 year old pure Italian mother would make. Just delicious! AND...they had Dr. Pepper on tap, which is good for me too.

Back again after trying most of the menu! The food is very good, the subs are packed and I like the bread. Born and raised Italian American from NY and the food is authentic. The cannolis are AMAZING. Best I've had since Little Italy in NY. Love the owners and staff. Reading comments below, he is more comical than anything. Same staff from the 1st time I went in when they opened. Don't think people would stay if it was that bad. Anyway, great job Sami's, love the food! OH, the Sicilian pizza is simply amazing.

While the pizza was very good, the owners berating the staff was not. It was a very unpleasant evening listening to his constant yelling. My parents were very upset, and yes it was a Friday night and they were a little busy, that is no reason to yell like he did. Not very professional. I may try this place again, but if he starts berating the staff it will be the last visit.

Well...where to start. I guess ill start from first impression of my first visit to Sami's. I like the open, spacious design. It's nice to not be so close to the people next to you eating. It was a bit odd to walk in and not be greeted by ANYONE. Its not that I require a greeting...but when it doesn't happen you certainly notice it. With such a large place...we weren't sure whether we were supposed to seat ourselves?? Finally we asked if we should just air down..Waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Food came out good. But one aspect of this visit just did not sit well with me and will prevent me from possibly going back. I'm guessing it was the owner or manager..the entire time we were eating we could hear him bitching at his waitstaff the ENTIRE time we were there. Our whole dinner conversation was about how we would rather work at McDonald's than work for this guy. I will probably try their pizza but I will definitely carry it out. I couldn't deal with his mouth for another hour of my life. He even was complaining to his food supplier that came in to see how he was doing. Just a very unprofessional way to operate a restaurant. With all the pizza options in this town first impressions are very important!! I do want to give credit to the Italian sub and slice of pizza...food was good. I want to try it again..just not dine in if the same guy is working. Overall..I recommend this place based on food.

I've had the pizza here a few times already and it is as good as it gets. HOWEVER I just tried the Sicilian pizza and it is simply amazing. The place has recently just opened and I overheard customers say they came all the way from Daytona for the Sicilian slice! This place has nailed pizza crust and sauce. The owners and workers were very friendly as well. Very happy and im sure you will be as well.

I tried this restaurant because of the convenience. I was so happily surprised by the quality of food and the price. It is a must try for Italian food lovers. I did do takeout, so was not able to experience the restaurant itself. I will be a continuing customer. Authentic NYC style!

Place is fantastic. Where do I start? The restaurant itself is CLEAN and spacious with plenty of seats and tables. The owners and staff and pleasant and very outgoing & friendly. It has a "like home" feel the more you go and I like that.
The food is spot on. Being from the NY metro area I can say this is on par with that authentic NY pizza taste. I love pizza and most places in the area are decent. I said, WOW, very good after having a plain slice. The pizza is not greasy, the cheese is quality, the sauce is tasteful and the crust was perfecto. I sampled some specialty slices and each place has their own way of making things. I was satisfied to say the least. The toppings are very generous, however I'm more of a plum tomato guy for my toppings. But that is a reasonable request im sure if made. (I tried to find a negative here and really cant). The meatballs and chicken were very good and again...the sauce was on the money. I read one review where it was said the spaghetti was too soft. Mine was softer than I prefer, but it is a preference thing. However, it wasnt a turn off for me. The service was great and hey, all places have mind lapses as one poster stated. Ive eaten at Peter Lugers and wasnt given a knife! Doesn't make it a bad place to eat. As for not getting a check and going to the register to pay...aren't most pizzerias back home like that? Even Bob Evan's, Cracker Barrel etc, give you a check and you have to go to the register as well. Don't get that beef, but oh well. Overall I loved Sami's. They will do well here in and it is worth the try. Remember, the place isn't a month old! Give them a fair shot. Good luck and mangia!

We have been to Sami's several times, once with a small group and several times just my husband and I. Hubby thinks the Pizza is really good. I particularly like the wings and Onion Rings. The Service is good and everyone in there is so friendly. Nice to have something on this side of town as well. We hope they do well as its just a nice friendly place to go too with good food and reasonable prices.
Oh and the Chocolate cake is TOO DIE FOR good.

Tried this new place on 1/5/2013. Found first appearance to be nice, but we stood at the entrance and finally had to ask if we were to seat ourselves, they were not busy. Ordered Chicken Parm and spaghetti with meatballs, we had to ask for silverware after our food came as the waitress was unaware we had none, the chicken was good but the Spaghetti was left in the water and the sauce was watered down as well as the meatballs were soft and not good.
What a disappointment, we will not return as there are better places in the area. We did not even get a bill, we were told to go to the counter when we wanted to pay! Terrible service and a terrible experience, will go back to Joe's!

Have tried the pizza and wings. Pizza is the best in the area. Great flavor and less greasy than any other place in palm coast. Recommend to all to try. You won't be disappointed. Wings very delicious as well.

Ordered the eggplant parmesan pizza and a gyro. The pizza was very good and crispy, with fresh tasting ingredients. I also enjoyed the gyro. Prices are good, as a large slice of pizza is $2.95 and a gyro is $4.95. I'd recommend trying them and giving them business; this place is one of the best in the area.

Great food and service. We had the Baked Ziti and Ravioli with meatballs and sausage. Food was very tasty and portions so large we had enough for dinner the next night - but not until we went back and picked up wings for lunch. Yummy!! The place is large inside and you can almost feel lost, but the owner/staff are so friendly, you will feel like you are part of the family.

We have found the "Best Pizza" outside of and maybe including New York City. I live just south of Palm Coast Parkway and have eaten at this Restaurant twice and had delivery once. (they just opened less than a week ago)
We feel the owners and staff is great, when they get the beer all will be great. Please come try we need this restaurant on our end of town.
