Captain's BBQ UNCLAIMED

I always order their BBQ but had a burger today and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had! Awesome flavors and cooked to perfection. Great staff and love sitting and eating while watching the river.

The bomb-diggity-dawg. My taste buds will dance for a month. Everything was superior in taste and portions. Second day of eating their down home,slap your grandma, and kick off your shoes food.

Arrived by boat and ordered a few plates to take back out with us. Several of us shared the food and it was a big success. Ribs were the best but everything was very good. Should have ordered more sides as they were really popular especially the beet salad and mac & cheese. Nothing went overboard and everything got eaten.

The ribs and burnt ends were awesome and the mac & cheese and smoked beans sides were excellent. Grab a table with a view of the Intracoastal around sunset and you're in for a treat.

I Can't say anything bad about Captain's BBQ! This is an awesome place with really excellent BBQ and good customer service. The location is unique with plenty of places to sit. Their meats here are not dry and still very moist and tender which I like, and the smoke isn't too dominating. Love their pulled pork and brisket but everything including all the side have been very good, even the homemade cheesecake is amazing.

Highlight of visit: My usual order is the Beef Brisket Plate with the Mac & Cheese and Beet & Goat Cheese Salad sides. For me, it's a really delicious and filling meal.

Love their BBQ and their macaroni salad is awesome. They also have the BEST cheesecake! We usually bring home but they have some cool spots to eat at if you want.

Highlight of visit: Everything at Captain's is good but I always go for the pulled pork platter and their burnt ends are awesome too. Make sure you get some macaroni salad as a side and cheesecake for dessert.

Really awesome BBQ place in a great location. Been there many times now and it always satisfies my smokey cravings! Get some cheesecake to bring home too! You can stop by car or boat and they have a cool screened patio at the back or grab a picnic table in the park.

Counter service was very friendly and our food was ready quite fast. Everything was delicious and the portions were a good size. Impressed with the flavor and tenderness of the ribs and beans and mac & cheese very good. We ate on the back porch which had very cool views of the river and boat launch.

Ordered the St. Louis Ribs and they were awesome! Collard greens are really good and their cheesecake is a must. All of the staff are very friendly and the location is perfect.

Great BBQ place with smokers going on all around and plenty of places to sit in or out. The food is really awesome... nice and tender and really tasty. Good collard greens and smoked beans as well. Location on the river is very scenic and great at sunset.

Picked up dinner from here for the first time and loved it! All of our plates tasted great and were very tender. The sides were all awesome too. It was busy but didn't take long to order and get the food. I'll be ordering here again soon.

This place has the best BBQ I've had anywhere! Its location is amazing and the food even more so. Their burnt ends taste so damn good! Their cheesecake is a must too! Made in-house and delicious. My hats off to these guys for the incredible food.

At least once a week I stop here on the way home from work to pick up dinner and the family is always very happy when I do. We have never had a bad meal here and everything is always superb. the only time my boys are silent is when they're chowing down on the BBQ. Can not recommend Captains enough.

Without a doubt the best BBQ anywhere around. Forget the chain places or driving to St. Augustine, Captains is far superior and has the best setting. I order mine and take it to a table outside and enjoy it surrounded by nature which makes it taste even better. All the meats and sides are awesome and their cheesecake is well worth bringing home. A top notch place and I highly recommend it.

We had a very good BBQ here and really enjoyed hanging out watching the boast on the river. Briske Plate was very flavorful and didn't have a fake smokey taste like many other places have. The Beet Salad side is good too.

We often stop here to pick up food to bring home. You can order online and have it ready when you arrive which is convenient. We usually get a BBQ plate that comes with two sides... the Burnt Ends one is excellent and their Smoked Beans and Cornbread are outstanding.

Highlight of visit: The Burnt Ends are a must in my opinion.

Great location overlooking the boat launch and river and lots of park areas with picnic benches. Your order at the counter and they call you when ready. The BBQ I had on my first visit was outstanding but on my last visit the burnt ends were not the best, so will skip those next time. Pulled pork was excellent though and their mashed yams are really good.

I like that you can arrive by road or water. Ordered a platter for the family and everything was very good... even the beet and goat cheese salad was impressive. Only let down was the coleslaw which had no flavor.

The location is awesome and although the building and inside are really nothing special their BBQ is really good, and sitting outside in the Bings facilities is a wonderful experience. We love watching life on the river while enjoying delicious BBQ.

I enjoyed the BBQ here but didn't think it was as good as all the hype. The waterfront location is awesome but inside is nothing special. Nice eating outside and watching the river and its activity. Parking was kind of haphazard with people not obeying any kind of order. Brisket was the best with the chicken being too dry. Couple sitting close by said the smoked turkey was the best! Maybe we'll try that next time.
