Johnny D's Beach Bar & Grill UNCLAIMED

A remarkable difference over their old location and was very impressed. A lot of bikers there but the crowd was in good spirits and the place had a buzzing atmosphere. Drinks, food and service all much improved. Only thing lacking was lack of ocean view now! But still had the beach bar feel to it. Same distinctive colors and you can't miss it when coming over the bridge.

I'm sorry to say it was not the best experience here. On the positive its location is great and the view from the rooftop is awesome, but the place to me just felt like a makeshift shed made from OSB wood. Seating was picnic tables with vinyl stapled on top that felt grubby and not something very nice to eat off. Server was kind of crass and impatient. I ordered the Flagler Cheese Steak sandwich that arrived looking very messy and unappetizing. The meat was dry and the cheese was like melted plastic! And combined with the strong smell of smoke I just couldn't eat it. Beers were cold at least and priced quite well. Many seem to like it here but each their own... I gave it a try!

This is a great place to come to and drink. Not to eat, but just to drink. The food and service are downright pathetic. But, if you want to drink, then this is the place for you. Located on A1A across from the ocean with a dynamite view. Again... do not, under any circumstances, come here to eat. Just remember... the food and service can not be any worse. But again, if drinking is your thing, this is your place.

I really don't understand why I went here. Maybe it was the appearance.. I sat at the bar and ordered food..I had a beer..then another..then another. No sign of the food. I asked the surly waitress and she just shrugged.. Got up and left.. Tip?? What Tip..Probably the most pathetic place in Flagler Beach.
