Kawa Sushi & Thai UNCLAIMED

Kawa never lets us down when we're hungry and in the mood for Asian food. Love their sushi with a big selection to choose from and the Thai dishes are also very good. Staff are efficient and friendly and they always remember us.

The inside is starting to look a little worn and even the menu was tatty, but the staff are still very friendly and the food was tasty. Had some great sushi and a Thai curry.

The sushi at Kawa is very good and they have some good dishes from the Kicken too... Thai and Japanese dishes are great and like their curries. Service has been slow lately and food from the kitchen taking a while, but I guess that means they're cooking it fresh.

I had some good sushi here and a great Thai style curry. Staff running around taking care of everyone like clockwork. Reasonable pricing and plenty of great sounding items on the menu.

The sushi was quite good but they need to up their game with the big fancy new place opening down the road. I think they just need to slow down a little, sushi rolls seemed like they were made in a hurry. I can wait a few minutes longer 🙂

The food was very tasty and we couldn't have had nicer or better service. Sushi rolls we ordered were all amazing and I got a Pad Thai to go for later, and it was really delicious. The restaurant needs a little love and zen attention but everything else was top notch.

Kawa is a regular mid week dinner out spot for us as it's reasonably priced, they have a big variety of dishes, and their service is very good. We like their sushi and hibachi dinners, and they also do some good udon and soba dishes. The environment is very casual and unpretentious. We also like that the food here is consistent.

Kawa doesn't have the best atmosphere of the sushi places in Palm Coast, but it does have the best sushi, and they also have good service. The sushi here just seems to taste better plus they do so many other dishes too including some Thai curries. Everything is fresh and reasonably priced.

Highlight of visit: Love the Broadway Rolls and the Miami Rolls.

Very casual place with a variety of Asain style dishes. Their sushi is good and they have some tasty Thai dishes... the drunken noodles were very tasty. The udon bowls are pretty good too. Prices are very fair and overall a good place to get some tasty Asian food.

We moved here from Japan in the late 90's when the only sushi place was AI. We have eaten in all the places that serve Japanese food and Kawa Sushi is our favorite. The food is excellent and the service is wonderful. My favorite lunch is a bento box and it is sometimes difficult to choose which one. My best loved sushi roll is the Holiday Roll. Tuna and salmon are always fresh.

Sushi here is good and I like their udon dishes. Bit of mixed bag of Asian cuisines here from Japanese to Thai. Service is good and it's quite nice inside.

Ordered the mango avocado roll and veg tempura to take out and everything tasted great. Service was fast and friendly and the food is well boxed.

Sushi taste was off..... asked for one thing and got another. Service was just okay , I really wish they showed more interest in that regard. Not as fresh as one would expect for sushi and sashimi. Dressing for salad was just bland. Hope they step it up.

Good sushi and love their hibachi dinners. Usually order the chicken and shrimp hibachi. Staff very friendly.

Ordered soup, noodles, and some veggie rolls. The soup was tasty but only lukewarm, and the noodles weren't very hot either. No soup was included with sushi so had to pay extra, and the noodles were a small portion for $14 and that's without meat. The sushi rolls were good except one of the rolls fell apart every time we tried to pick it up. Our server was nice but she was the only one and was running from table to table. Japanese beer was good!

I went here looking for vegetarian sushi and was not disappointed. They have many rolls with seafood or eat and they tasted amazing... loved the mango avocado one the best, but were all good. The server was happy to guide us and the sushi came out looking beautiful. For vegetarians Kawa has so many options in addition to sushi.

Kawa is our favorite stop for sushi in Palm Coast. It's quite a simple place but they have a good selection of rolls that look and taste great. No problems with service and you can see the sushi being made fresh.

The wait staff were really good and very accommodating. The food was delicious and good value for money. Very unassuming place but they make some awesome sushi with many other rothe Asian eclectic dishes. Highly recommend.

Not a fancy place but they made us feel welcome and the service was exceptional. Ordered the Hibachi Noodles and few sushi rolls. The noodles were wonderful and the two stand out rolls were Pink Lady and the Tobiko Lava. Very happy with the presentation and quality and will definitely be back for more.
