Review of The Landing Strip Tavern by Diego from Palm Coast
Food is not the greatest but still quite good and beats cooking!! Service is mostly good but can be slow. We like the location and watching the aircraft. Prices good.
Highlight of visit: Fired Shrimp is good.

Let me just say.. brace yourself for the reading...its not perfect don't care because none of us are.... the point of this is I want to share... . I'm speechless in the aaaaaamazing wonderful service this tiny little mighty place did for our Inservice class last night... they embraced us with first class service .. not only is their customer service top notch, their food from appetizers of Calamari, Ahi Tuna, dips and Coconut Shrimp with beyond deliciously beautiful plum dip the Mahi Dinner, Ahi Tuna Salad and burgers were done to perfection and the Martinis and other refreshing drinks and the oh my goodness key lime and the peanut butter chocolate pie was better than any fancy table cloth place I've been into in over two years... and take it from this Foodie Nurse who travels across the country...who eats very well in many Beautiful places...I'm still sitting in awe of what they did for us last night and how we can have not tipped them and thanked them enough for coming through to make our small class a huge success...we will be bringing them more business and having them cater way more events then they probably want...If you have not been there... you have done yourself a disservice... this tiny yet mighty place and its gorgeous management ladies and staff are FIRST CLASS ALL THE WAY!!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU...WE ARE FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR YOU ALL... CANNOT WAIT TO COME EAT THERE AGAIN & PUT ON ANOTHER CLASS IN THAT BACK ROOM NEXT MONTH AND THE FOLLOWING MONTH AND ETC!!!!
Highlight of visit: The Ahi Tuna was delicious and the Coconut Shrimp with the Plum sauce...oh my word and the Chocolate martinis way better than some ice had in these white tablecloth places

Nothing too fancy inside but we enjoy eating on the patio and watching the planes. Service is always friendly and the food very good. Last visit our server was awesome with the kids and made their day. Their wraps and burgers are very good and they also make some great salads. Nice slow relaxing place with enough around to keep the kids occupied.

Good place for the views but wasn't too impressed with the food. Ordered the Flounder Reuben and found it to be too oily and messy. Onion rings oily too but the Fish Dip was very good. My friend had tacos that looked much better than my sandwich and he said they were very good. Server was nice but kept disappearing. It looked like it would be really nice sitting outside but the weather wasn't too good when we were there so sat inside.

Come here quite often and enjoy sitting outside, but some of the bench seating is very uncomfortable! Great place to sit and watch the planes with nachos (which are killer) and a beer. Their sandwiches are good too especially the Pulled Pork and the Cuban. Service can be hit or miss. Overall a fun place but wish it was comfortable and had better service.
Highlight of visit: Nachos and the Jack Daniels Pulled Pork Sandwich
