I finally had a chance to try High Tide's today. The first thing you notice when arriving is that unless you use their valet parking service, you have to park over and down the road and walk back. The outside seating is preferred as inside was not too impressive unless you get by the beach view windows. Everywhere looks like bare wood and unfinished but I guess that's the appeal for most people. Sitting outside was very nice except a woman had a dog that insisted it wanted our food and kept trying to reach on top of our table and she wasn't doing much to control it. Not cute if it's not your dog! The conch fritters appetizer was tough and tasted to oily, but the steamed combo platter was very tasty and plentiful for the $30+ cost. Server was on the ball but had no personality.

Overall you're really going here for the location and view and if it was inland I doubt the food and service would carry it. It's also inconvenient to get in and out and not someone you go to unless you have plenty of time. I'm glad I finally tried it though and didn't leave entirely disappointed.

Good vibes here on the deck but food and service are about average and inconsistent. Last night server seemed spaced out and forgetful. Combo Platter smaller than usual and fish very dry but has been very good in the past. Parking a pain in the ass!

No easy self parking which is really inconvenient, but scenery from the restaurant is impressive. The Ahi Tacos were excellent and conch fritters tasty but greasy. Very friendly server but disappeared often which was usually when i wanted a another beer. Great place to spend some time on a warm day.

Pain in the ass to get in and out of here but I always have a good time when I visit. Fun atmosphere on the beachfront deck with good food and ice cold brews. Servers are usually cool but they need more. The spicy steamed shrimp are excellent.

I like it here for the location but the food is about average, they only sell beer or wine, and it's a a real pain to get in and out with the valet parking and waiting. So, not somewhere you can go to unless you have a long time. Sometimes food tastes fresh and batter crispy, other times times the fried food tastes stale and old. Service can be slow and really wish they had real cocktails instead of wine based ones which just don't do it! The tuna reuben on last visit was very good though and would have that again for sure.

Not a great experience here! First of all they force you to use a valet service to park which I didn't feel comfortable with due to Covid so we parked across the street and walked back getting mean looks from the valet. The person seating us seemed very abrupt and not very welcoming, and although our server was the only smiling and friendly face so far, she was very slow. The food had very mixed reviews with the steamed shrimp like rubber, the smoked fish dip like a bowl of weird fishy gunk, and bread on the sandwich was stale, however the flounder reuben was very good and they do great sweet potato fries. The views are very nice but the restaurant did not have a happy vibe at all and we expected a much more of a fun beach bar type atmosphere with great Floribbean style food. I really felt the system and the staff lowered the standard and set the tone that passed on to the unhappy looking customers. Sorry to write this but I can't recommend and maybe it'll be better another day, but we have many more places to try before we'll ever return.

Nice to see servers wearing masks although customers very close to each other. Good place as a beach bar with great location and views but found the food to be mediocre. Music was good and enjoyed the vibes.

Great setting with cool views and good service. Food is from the 90's and so is the fryer grease judging by the taste sometimes. I always go for the grilled items on the menu to be safe. Beers are good and cold and the breeze on the decks is usually always guaranteed.

Haven't been here for a long time because I always forget about it as it's on the edge of town. It's one of those place you go to for the setting more than the food as that's not that great. Parking really sucks and you have to pay for valet, but you get great views and good cold drinks. The food is OK but is all served in paper and plastic. The chowder was thin, thick breading on shrimp, coleslaw very sweet, blackened tuna very very good. Service friendly but didn't check back much.
