Woody's Bar-B-Q PERMANENTLY CLOSED

I have eaten at Woody's several times, and am disappointed every time, so only go when my BBQ withdrawal becomes unmanageable. If you have eaten at any first-class BBQ houses across the nation, you will find that there are no comparable BBQ places to be found in Flagler County.

Went there for lunch. It was OK.

Had the baby back ribs lunch special (1/2 rack plus garlic bread and 2 sides).

The ribs were real good...fall-off-the-bone tender and juicy with a nice flavor. The sauce tastes much better than Sonny's (which is awful).

The sides: garlic bread - didn't detect any garlic; cole slaw - minced up cabbage and carrots, no detectible dressing; and baked beans - pretty good.

Service was very quick and friendly, however, it was 2:00 PM and not too many people in the restaurant.

All-in-all, not a bad experience. I'll definitely try it again, but will ask for a whole rack of baby backs next time and skip the cole slaw.

Both Woody's and Sonny's are not my idea of BBQ at all. None the less, I can still appreciate good meat nicely flavored and it was not found here. The server was not interested in us at all either.

i thought the food was good, though i have not been to sonny's yet. we have eaten in the restauraunt and also have had take home. it is more convenient than driving to Georgia Pig in Brunswick GA, the are the absolute best!!!

We received poor service here and did not enjoy the food. I much prefer Sonny's especially their salad bar.

Very disapointed with Woody's. Service lacked a great deal. Very sorry on the salad front compared to Sonny's and not as flavorful either. Way too dry and didn't like the sauces. Not very clean either.

Real good bbq. The best in the county. Nice folks, frendly & not expensive.

I didn't like this type of BBQ at all. It was very dry with little flavor and the salad was old. Our table was greasy and the service not very friendly. We felt like an inconvenience to the waitress.

Best smoked chicken in town. Don't miss this meal. Quality food quality people.

One man's heaven another man's hell! Some friends recommended Woody's for local BBQ but I was not impressed at all. Service was slugish and food bland and dry. The sauces didn't compete with Sonney's and my table was very greasy from previous diners.

Best babyback ribs i`ve ever eaten. My wife loves the mesquite chicken. WE eat at Woody`s often & the food is always good & consistant. Only complaint is that it could be a little cleaner.

Great BBQ. The babybacks are the best in town. They have a good selection of pork,beef & turkey. A good lunch menu & the beer is always cold. The wait staff is accomadating & friendly. Can`t miss with this if you like BBQ.

this was the worst experience in dining i have had in a long time the lunch special was pathetic a bird would have left this place hungry my lunch came out slowwww and get this they had the nerve to put eight count them eight french fries on the plate even the waitress said they count the fries very expensive pass on this joint and head for sonnys

This is not BBQ. It's dried up, touch, tastless meat with about us much smokey flavor as a match! Service with an attitude too.
