Woody's Bar-B-Q PERMANENTLY CLOSED

My experience here wasn't as bad as some of the other reviewers had and I I liked most of the food. Ribs and brisket were really good but fries soggy and country veggies way overcooked. Staff were hospitable but the place needs freshening up.

I have been the Woody's in Ponte Vedra Beach which I loved so when we saw this one while visiting Flagler Beach for the weekend, we thought we'd stop in for lunch. But this one just isn't as nice. It's atmosphere is really dull and the server seemed very bored. Food didn't taste as good either and it was like a completely didn't restaurant franchise. I wouldn't revisit this one I'm sorry to say.

Quite good for a chain BBQ. Found the food tasty but portions not very generous. Sides were very good. Service a little off and the atmosphere flat.

Ordered takeout and food and service were both very good. Had the Southwest Wrap with smoked Turkey and thought it was very tasty. Fries were good and I like their sweet sauce. Great job!

Mixed food quality. My sampler platter was very good and loved every bite, but my wife's chicken was very dry and like leather. My son's burger was burnt. Server was OK but seemed to be preoccupied with the bar area. Many better choices around that Woody's so doubt I'd return.

I'm sorry to say this wasn't the best experience. Server acted like he couldn't be bothered and the food tasted like the cook couldn't be bothered either. The pulled pork was very fatty and side seemed like they had been over microwaved or cooked to a mush. I will say the okra was very good though. This used to be a great place but sadly not so much anymore.

Food was terrible. Service was worse. I would highly recommend that no one go there for dinner. Hostess was rude and the manager was a total bi$ch. Not sure how they stay in business with Sonny's on the other side of town.

I feel the quality of the food and the service have taken a u -turn. We used to go here about twice a month, but not any more. The food is absolutely awful. Not what it used to be. And when I say awful I mean downright horrendous. They raised their prices significantly and the quality of the food is really pathetic.

I don't think I've been here for at least 10 years and it hasn't changed. The food has not kept up with the times and it frankly tastes like it's cooked with no desire to please whatsoever. The rank interior certainly doesn't add to the taste. Some items were burnt and over cooked. Even the sour cream came in a sachet? Server was mentally someplace else and I can't think of one reason to recommend Woody's. No wonder it was almost empty of a Friday evening.

This restaurant feels very dated in both food and decor. It was quite empty when we last visited but order still took forever to come out. Once it did, it wasn't very warm and chicken very dry and tough. Onion rings tasted stale. Mac and cheese kind of watery. Server was friendly but didn't seem to care too much. No real reason to go back.

We have been coming to Woody's for many years during our visits to the Flagler area and have always enjoyed the food. However, something has happened to the quality. There is now a dry rub on the St. Louis ribs that is terrible. Previously the ribs came unseasoned with no dry rub, allowing us to put the various sauces on them. Too bad. Doubt if we will return.

The Woody's decor and menu seems so old and out of touch with today's eating styles. It's OK to be retro but this is done badly. Service lacks any enthusiasm and food very boring. Everything tastes like it's processed or canned. We found the meat and the sauces very salty and sides over cooked (corn on the cob was cold and baked potato was like shoe leather). My wife's chicken was very dry. Table was sticky and had to be cleaned. The restaurant was empty so atmosphere was very dull. Sorry but could not do this place again!

The folks are Woody's are awesome! And the food is always good - My favorite is the Southwest Salad. Also the owners do a lot for the community.

My wife and I go here about once a month. We really like the baby back ribs. Tender fall off the bone spectacular. Their sides are pretty good also. Service was great. Prices are reasonable. Good Food.... Good service... Good prices... What more can you ask for?

Got the dinners, no equipment to use...got up from table & went and asked for forks, etc. girl said she would "mention it" to the girl at the front? Finally waiter asked how we were doing, don't know, can't eat, no fork. Food was mediocre to say the least. Service was comparable to that of low level diner. Used to eat at Woody's, had not for about 1-1/2 years, probably won't eat there for another 1-1/2 years or until we forget this experience.

Very disappointed! If you've had real BBQ spare ribs you are in for a big let down! Dry and no smoke flavor. I ordered the sampler platter. I will never go back. Chicken was nasty. Not to mentioned screwed up my bill.

Great experience at Woody's! Ribs are great, coleslaw is the best! Just darn good BBQ. We always eat there first whenever we're in town.

Very disappointed in recent visits. We have been customers for years. However, the past several months, the food has been consistently horrible, and I mean horrible. Also have experienced problems with slow service and bill not being accurate. Floors sticky and restaurant doesn't seem as clean.

I got a half chicken, dark, TO GO, but when I bit into a leg it was the dryest chicken, I have ever had. When I called to tell them (it was going to be my dinner) I wanted a refund the Next Day. However, the manager, Joe, would NOT take my rejection, and insisted,on delivering a new chicken, to my home! It was Moist, with 2 side orders, Free! I was impressed! They Have my business forever now!

Now I will Recommend Woody's for a Bar-B-Que restaurant, when asked. I am a Permanent resident of Beverly Beach. I was treated as a very valuable Person. Thank You.

First, let me say that at one time I loved Woody's. However, our last visit there was a huge disappointment, and the ladies that I was with are probably not going back. The waiter messed up our orders badly; unbelievably so. We practically had to beg for coffee over and over. The food was swimming in grease. The bills were messed up.

I don't know what is going on with Woodys... I want to think this is a momentary bump in the road with them.. I don't know what is going on there.
