Well we went a few weeks ago and it was great. We went again last night and it was not good at all. We had the paella and our guest had the same. The food was way over done and the lobster was dried out to a point it was not eatable. When we complained, the waitress advised the owner and he said to say he was sorry. Sorry! the bill came to $107.00 and he was sorry, well I'm sorry but sorry don't cut it. When we gave the bill and our credit card to the waitress she came back with a bill for $1007.00. Oh we are sorry again. If this type of thing is allowed to happen with just a I'm sorry this place will go down the drain real quick and it's a shame.

This is a very unassuming place with excellent food. Portions are generous and cooked to order. My girlfriend and I both had the New York Strip and egg meal and thoroughly enjoyed it. Servers were friendly to all patrons, striking up conversations with every table. This place makes one feel warm and welcomed! If there was any downside, it would be atmosphere which was a little confusing. Joenell's Place is part Spanish / Portuguese restaurant, part diner, part elegant, and part...um...sport? Spanish music played with a college football game in the background. The restaurant itself is small and diner-ish, but a touch of elegance persists.
Prices are a little on the high side, but you definitely get a treat with the cuisine presented. Location is a little strange, but I like this place quite a bit and wish them the best in the future. I will recommend this place to others and look forward to trying other entrees in the future.

Our first visit here, but not our last. My wife and I shared the appetizer combo which included chorizo, garlic shrimp, mussels and crispy calamari with marinara sauce. Lots of fresh warm bread on the side to soak up the sauces. Yum!. Then we split an order-for-two of Paelha Valencia which is essentially Paella (rice in a saffron sauce) with tons of fresh seafood (mussels, clams, shrimp, scallops) plus chorizo and chicken and topped with a whole split lobster. I'm guessing the lobster was not local since it included two large claws, but it was sweet and delicious. It was so much food, we'll be getting another meal out of it (had to save room for the flan which was excellent as well). Traditional Spanish food was just what this area needed. We'll certainly be back. I hope all you foodies out there will come out and support this place because it's definitely a keeper!

My husband and I went to Joenells Place for the first time over the weekend. We were never there before, so we decided to try it. I must say the food was outstanding!! We started off with an Appetizer, a sampler of shrimp, calamari, mussels, and chorico. I was very impressed by the delicious sauces alone. For our dinner we had a delicious Paelha Marinera. Ive never had Paelha before, but I will be going back to Joenells place just for that alone:) !! The Sangria was delicious as well. The service was wonderful. I haven't had such good service in a very long time. The staff is very attentive, and on top of things at Joenells place. I would recommend Joenells place to everyone I know. Especially for the fresh seafood.
Thanks again Joenells Place:) See you all again soon.

We definitely enjoyed our evening. Shared a garlic shrimp appetizer, I had the Paella Valencia - delicious & so much that I had an nice serving for lunch the next day. Hubby had the pork cubes and that sauce was SO good, we will be back for that for sure. We split a pitcher of sangria and that made it perfect. We will be back!

This place has become my second home! Me and my husband make sure to go there every week. The food never fails to impress us. We always start with an appetizer the sampler was amazing!! But, my favorite by far is the Calamari Frito!! Would I recommend this restaurant? Most definitely!! Joe and the girls are great!

My husband and I made a reservation for Joenell's Place for our Valentine dinner. This dinner was probably the best dinner we have had in any restaurant in Flagler County. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. Visit this restaurant and help make it the success it deserves to be. It is small so make a reservation.

In Palm Coast on business. Found Joenelle's on the web and decided to try it. At $18, the paella valencia was well priced. Significant portion with shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams, chorizo, chicken, and topped with 1/2 a lobster. Beautiful presentation. Fabulous ocean fresh flavor. If this were a higher end restaurant, and the shrimp larger, and sea scallops instead of bay, this would easily be a $30 dish. Wish I lived closer; I'd like to try the rest of their menu.

Went there last night and had the paelha marinera. It was so good and seafood was so fresh. My wife had the marisca joenell and she loved it. I will recommend this place to anyone that wants good Spanish food close to home.

What a gem to find in Flagler Beach! I carried out Veal dinner. Excellent meat, excellent mushroom sauce, excellent. Fresh steamed broccoli was al dente perfect. Saffron rice was great and not gummy. Huge mini-loaf of bread had to have been scratch-made on-site. I didn't carry out dessert but did ogle display while waiting for dinner and it all looked delicious, and scratch-made. The best of luck and hope for a long run here. This definitely will become my go-to restaurant. Friendly, fast, clean, casual... and, cold, cold beer on tap.

Wow We had a great fresh lobster dinner. After meeting the chef he's been a chef for 30+ years. What a value for your money olive dish served with fresh assorted breads as you are waiting for your drinks. We chose homemade Flan for dessert... a must try. Highly recommend a great value for your dollar.

We really enjoyed having dinner at this new place in Flagler Beach. The food was excellent. I had the Steak House Style and it was finger licking good, it felt like I was back up north having the Traditional Portuguese Steak topped with an egg. My sister who had the Paella also commented on how good it was. Service was excellent and everything just tasted so fresh. My steak was very tender and juicy and the Paella was enough to feed 2 people, so we actually brought the rest home with us to enjoy tomorrow. We also were tempted to try their desserts, and once again, it was very appetizing. Hats off to Joenell's Place and best of luck here in Flagler County!!!
