Lunch today was quite good with decent Pad Thai. The portion was not so big for $15 and better at the Thai restaurants. Server was attentive. I'd go again but would try something else, maybe the sushi.

The food was OK but you can find better Asian cuisine in town. Some sushi were good, one tasted like catfood! Wife had a poke bowl which she only ate half of... said it had a sour taste. My shrimp hibachi wasn't too bad but it didn't have any of the nice grill taste. The place is clean and the service was good. I'd say Wild Ginger is good for a quick lunch but you need to be picky on what you order.

Quite a mix of Asian cuisines including Thai, Chinese, and Japanese plus seafood boils. Our server seemed lost with all the choices too but was friendly and was keen to help. We got mostly sushi with a couple of appetizers of chicken satay and lettuce wraps. The satay was nothing special but we like the lettuce wraps. The sushi was very good though especially the Ginza roll which I could have eaten much more of, an the Palm Coast Roll was excellent too. It's quite big inside and doesn't have a very good atmosphere, but apart from the satay, the food was great and staff friendly. We would return.
Highlight of visit: I highly recommend the Ginza and Palm Coast sushi rolls which had a good mix of textures and flavors.

I like their seafood boils which are fresh and I get with the juicy special sauce and spicy. Always very flavorful. Not tried their Asian dishes yet but they look good. Service is mostly very good and the vibe is kind of confusing.

I had the Kung Pao Shrimp which tasted good but not spicy as described. The clear soup was not impressive. Hubby had a Thai curry which he said was very good. Our server was outstanding but we weren't very fond of the vibe.

This was the worst sushi experience I've ever had. Publix Sushi is better. Some gas station sushi is better. The fish was thin, limp and flavorless. The taste was so off I actually had to spit some out and I NEVER spit food out. The warm sake was super acidic. The only thing that tasted as you'd expect it to taste was the sweet tea which is good because you'll need it to wash the sushi flavor out of your mouth. Even the inside of the restaurant shows that they are only making a bare minimum effort. The building used to be a "Red Crab". When they took it over they left all the benches and plastic sharks hanging from the wall and put up some generic Japanese decorations you can buy on Etsy. I actually was considering asking for my money back and walking out and I've never done that in my life. I didn't try anything other than the sushi and the Takoyaki. The Takoyaki was passable and it was the best part of my meal. Would never go back or recommend. The only other place in town that I haven't tried sushi at yet is the Golden Chopsticks, but I can't fathom how it could be any worse unless they rolled it in dirt before they gave it to you. Also, you apparently can't choose not to tip if you pay with card, so if you're still thinking about going, bring cash.

My wife and I have been trying to find good sushi around here and Wild Ginger is definitely the best so far. It's probably the worst for atmosphere, but the sushi was really good, and our server was very friendly and made an effort to make sure our meal was to our liking. This is one place we'll be returning to for sure.

The first time I came to Wild Ginger I had the pad Thai and it was not very good, but since had some sushi rolls and the shrimp and steak hibachi which were all awesome. Service seems hit or miss, but mostly good.

Wild Ginger is a strange kind of fusion between a seafood boil place and Asian/sushi restaurant. Not the best sushi in Palm coast, and the curry was no better than my wife makes. But my friend was very impressed with their make your own seafood boil. We did have good service and the decor leans much towards the seafood side than the Asian. So I don't recommend for sushi but I guess my friend will give a big thumbs up for their seafood boil.

This was my first time at Wild Ginger and thought it is a good addition to the Palm Coast Asian dining scene. The sweet and sour chicken dish I had was good and really liked the sauce. My wife thought the pad Thai was very tasty and the egg rolls were good. Good service and plenty of parking which I always like.

We didn’t think too much of the atmosphere and settings but our server was good and the food tasty. Best General Tso’s around although the portion was kind of small for the cost. GF had sushi and loved it!

Our waiter was fantastic the sushi looked and tasted amazing. The Dragon Roll and Fire Tuna were the best but all of the rolls were delicious. The Asian entrees looked good so will try those next time. But I highly recommend Wild Ginger for some excellent sushi.

The sushi at Wild Ginger is excellent and I'll give 5 stars for that, but the Pad Thai was a big disappointment with no taste and awful noodles. My friend said his Lo Mein was good.
Highlight of visit: We had a variety of sushi and all were excellent!

Review by Adam, Flagler Beach 3/15/20243.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
The place feels like you're eating in a dockside storage container and the walls and floors kind of clash making for an uneasy atmosphere, and not at all Asian. I wanted to look at their menu online before heading up from FB but the one on their website was too small and fuzzy to read. The krab Rangoon (notice with a 'K' so not real) didn't have much filling and was nearly all wrapper, the pad Thai was reasonable but I thought the portion size was small, and my wife said the Yellow Curry had good flavor but wasn't very hot (cook level, not spice). Service was good and the sushi on the table next to us looked good.

Been twice now and found the Chinese dishes are nothing special and I wouldn't order again as they're not any better than takeout Chinese. But the tonkotsu ramen today was excellent and I could eat that every day. The broth was intense. Service was attentive but staff need to at least look happy.
Highlight of visit: The Tonkotsu ramen was excellent.

Wild Ginger in Palm Coast offers a varied menu centered on sushi and seafood boils alongside some Thai and Chinese dishes. Many guests appreciate the fresh, well-prepared sushi, highlighting rolls like the Crazy Tuna Roll and Black Dragon Roll, as well as the flavorful seafood boils featuring meaty snow crab and garlic butter sauce. The restaurant is moderately priced, with good value noted for sushi and drinks like the passion fruit martini. Service is generally attentive and friendly, though a few have mentioned inconsistent attentiveness. The atmosphere tends to be quiet and somewhat sparse, which some find lacking energy. While the menu's breadth appeals to many, a few diners feel certain dishes, particularly some stir-frys and curries, lack depth or authenticity. Despite this, patrons often recognize Wild Ginger for its clean environment and consistent food quality.
