Tio Juan's Family Mexican Restaurant PERMANENTLY CLOSED

I've been twice. It's just OK. Does not taste Mexican. Very bland. Dinner menu looks better with snapper and other items but I wish them luck.

Easily the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever visited. I can't believe they are still open! The food tasted like it came out of can and was bland. I wish I had gone to Taco Hell.... errrr ....Bell. The food would have been much better

But as sorry of a meal we had to endured, it was a the price that got me. WAY OVER PRICED. My family and I went to eat Mexican in St. Augustine the following day just to get their awful taste from our mouths.

Great Food, especially for the price, perfect portions. The Red Snapper was excellent as they prepared it a few different ways. Since it was a larger party, we were able to try many different plates. All in all, good, fresh food, well prepared. The owner was especially hospitable, as was the wait staff. I would highly recommend for a casual lunch or dinner, especially for the family. My new choice over the other local Mexican restaurants in the center of Palm Coast which is always crowded, over priced and lacks character.

Please get more authentic..... not good. Service is decent and that does deserve credit but the food is lacking.

The food was over priced and was not very good. Would not return and usually I give a place a second chance but not this one.

We ate here tonight and had an awesome meal and experience. Super friendly staff and the best chimichanga's in town! Try if for yourself, we will be going back for sure. Southern California is over rated by the way.

Went with my spouse and the place was empty at 5:30 pm . Young lady who seated and served us was very nice and attentive. The food was bland and was not very authentic. My husbands meal had very little meat and tons of peppers and onions... meat was M.I.A. I had an avocado salad that came with my meal... No avocado! I am from southern California and Mexican American this was a sad example.

Enjoyed our first visit. Good food. The best Mexican food in the area.
