We had a pretty good experience here but didn't find anything very exciting. The food is typical fair and the drinks lean toward sweet. We thought the portion to price ratio was off! The server was quite good but kind of lacking in enthusiasm. Overall I feel like Craves is dated and needs some personality and more originality with the food.

Crave's Coastal Kitchen accepted a 16 person reservation for our family vacation group on a Friday night in July. Most restaurants on A1A are on a first come first serve basis. We were seated in 2 adjacent tables of 8 overlooking a picturesque view of the ocean. Our reservation was at 5:30pm and were finished being served by 7:30pm including appetizers, drinks and dinner.
Highlight of visit: Service was excellent and guests especially enjoyed the Prime Rib, Pecan and Bourbon Salmon, Shrimp and Scallops, Gator Bites, Fish Dip Appetizer, Tangy Mango Cocktail and House White Zinfandel. Not one complaint! The younger generation had fun taking photos after dinner in front of the ocean! Thank you for an enjoyable experience!

Prime rib as very good but the lobster tail was flavorless and rubbery. At nearly $50 it wasn't worth it! Only one side offered! Wife had a salad with salmon and liked it. Bar drinks were good but slow arriving.

I think craves is somewhere you have to choosey on what to order... portions can be small and limiting for the cost and while some dishes that our arty ordered were good, some were not so great. My steak was tender but had no flavor and I had to add salt, pepper and sauce to get some taste, but my wife really liked her swordfish. I won't speak for the other 4 people in our party except to say the impressions were mixed. Our waiter was also not very pleasant and clearly wasn't a happy guy and made sure everyone knew it... very unprofessional! We did like the atmosphere and thought that with its misgivings, Crave's has a lot of potential. I wish them well.

I had their fish fry previously which was excellent, and then I had the blackened special with flounder and shrimp over pilaf rice with a cajun sauce, which wasn't as good. The flounder was on the dry side and the blackening season really had no flavor, and the rice was just like Uncle Ben's, but I did like the sauce. Service was OK this time but it was faster and friendlier before.

The fillet and fried shrimp were a great combo and went down very well. The young lady serving was energetic and friendly and the restaurant's vibe was cool. I was worried about losing Martins but Craves is an awesome replacement.

We're back in Flagler Beach since the pandemic and was surprised to see our old favorite Martin's is now Craves. We gave the new place a try and found it a big improvement. Craves is mostly steaks and seafood with a few sandwiches, and as we were expecting Martin's prime rib, I tried the Craves one, and it was excellent. The 40 oz was too excessive for me so I just had the 20 oz and even that was a lot of meat, but very tender and nicely seasoned. My wife had a seafood combo plate and thought it was very tasty. My only complaint is that with a $40 steak, I would have expected a choice of more than just one side which I thought was kind of cheap of them. However, Craves is a very nice restaurant with good service and they certainly do prime rib justice.

A definite improvement over the former Martin's but still some room for more. Service was slowish and the food could do with a little more care. The calamari app was good but the breading fell off when trying to dip. My fish was very watery and lacked any flavor which made me think it was frozen, however my husband loved his steak and fries. Our drinks were very good and the atmosphere is more fresh and much more coastal.

We had quite a good experience here... thought it was closed at first as it's quite plain on the oustside. The staff were friendly and offered a lobster special which I had. Food came out quicker but drinks were slow. The lobster was quite good but the meat had no flavor... none of that fresh ocean taste. My wife has some salmon dish which she liked but said the salmon was dry, but had a good sauce. I definitely liked it much better than it was as Martin's but they have a few more tweaks to go yet.

I was not impressed with my cocktail... bacon belongs on a plate not in an Old Fashioned! Totally ruins good whiskey. But the rest of my meal was impressive. Had a delicious Surf and Turf with steak and lobster... steak was butter soft and the lobster tail was a good size. Will also say that their Minorcan Clam Chowder is excellent. Nice inside and the service was on top form. The outside needs some curb appeal though... looks like an office building driving by.
Highlight of visit: Get a bowl of Minorcan Clam Chowder... the cup was not enough!

Went with friends and had a fun evening with some good music, delicious food and great drinks. Our server was very good and everything was cooked as ordered. Had the best steak in ages! Thought the prices were fair considering today's crazy inflation.

I've been coming to Flagler Beach for years and this has always been here as Martin's, but now it has changed owners and rebranded as Crave's. I was upset at first because I looked forward to Martin's prime rib which was always excellent. So I was happy to see that Crave's has kept the prime rib on the menu as Martin's did it, and it's just the same. The prices seem higher and sides are different, and they now offer some good looking cocktails. Staff were great and the atmosphere is much better.
Highlight of visit: The prime rib is still as good as ever.

I highly recommend visiting Tuesday nights for their Happy Crab Leg specials. You get 1.25 lbs of meaty and sweet crab legs and two sides for under $27. Went so well with their delicious Key Lime Martinis. I sound like a Crave's spokesperson but just a very satisfied customer.

Crave's has become one of our favorite spots along the beach and we try to make it here once a week. They have a great ambiance and the servers are always very friendly. We love their drinks and like to sit at the bar with cocktails and apps or a sandwich. The Stuffed Portebllos and Calamari are excellent. The Peach Mule cocktails is amazing!
Highlight of visit: For drinks try the Peach Mule and Spicy Mango Margarita. Our favorite food is the Stuffed Portebllos, Calamari, French Dip and the Blackened Grouper Sandwich.

Dinner here tonight was awesome! Our waiter was really good and we liked the atmosphere. Our meals were all excellent... surf and turf was delicious and the maple & bourbon salmon had amazing flavor. Cocktails were a treat and they had a good key lime pie which we shared. Seafood prices are very high but prices here are still reasonable considering. Crave's is now on our list of favorite restaurants.

The prime rib excellent and was as good as before the name change. Wife had the shrimp and scallops that she liked a lot but thought there wasn't so much for the $25. It would be nice to be offered more than just one side other than rice too. Our server was very attentive and management stopped by to check on us. The views are great and we had some very nice drinks.
Highlight of visit: It has to be the prime rib that put the original place (Martin's) here on the map and is still excellent.

We enjoyed lunch here very much. The people working were all friendly and we had excellent service. Their menu has a good variety and we had a Shrimp Po Boy that was awesome and a very good BBQ Prime Rib Burger. Cocktails were very decadent and creative. If you went to the old Martin's here you'll find Craves is a very big improvement with far better atmosphere, service, and food.

Wish I could give a better review, but was sorely disappointed at our last visit to Crave's. Been making a yearly retreat to Crave's/Martin's for 34 years for prime rib dinners. Meat was juicy and tender but were 30% visible fat. I expect some but not this much! Also size of portions are about half and your prices are nearly doubled when I have to PAY for a side salad. Will not return or recommend as you have changed for the worse. I've recommended you for 34 years but no more.
Highlight of visit: See above comments.

Crave's in Flagler Beach offers a spacious dining experience with ocean views and a relaxed atmosphere. Guests appreciate the seafood options like broiled red grouper, diver scallops, and fish and chips featuring plump haddock with crispy batter. The prime rib is frequently praised for tenderness and flavor, though portion sizes can be large. Cocktails are visually appealing but often noted as overly sweet. Service is generally friendly and attentive, with staff making efforts to accommodate guests comfortably without rushing. While some dishes show inconsistency in seasoning and quality, the restaurant maintains a neighborly feel with personable owners and a welcoming vibe. The moderately priced menu and ability to linger over meals make Crave's a comfortable choice for those seeking a casual yet pleasant dining outing by the water.
