Review of Panda Express by Rachel from Palm Coast
Call my cardiologist! Sodium overload! I will admit a couple of Panda Express items taste quite good, but then again, so can some frozen meals. The meats especially the beef, can have a weird texture and be very sweet. Rice can be greasy and hard. Nothing fresh, all frozen. Android staff.

Service was friendly and quick. It was not fresh food - nothing more than frozen, reheated, then left in a tray until ordered. Rice was dry and hard. Egg roll tasted good. Very clean inside and has plenty of condiments etc. But don't come here expecting good Chinese food, just like buying frozen meals at the supermarket, this is not the place.

Seriously? What do people like about this place? Food is awful frozen sh#t and service is slow as sh#t. There was one couple in front of us and it still took forever. Chinese food my ass! Go to a real Chinese restaurant instead.

The fried rice was hard and salty and the Orange Chicken was way too sweet. The Chili Crisp Shrimp was mushy. Clearly all frozen. You'll get much better from any Chinese takeout in town. No reason to come back here again.

According to this website there are eight other Chinese restaurants around here and you will find much better food and bigger selections at either one than at Panda Express. Twice I have come here, and twice very disappointed. Why bother anymore?

Just like you used to see in the mall... all premade food sitting in steam trays cafeteria style. Just wasn't impressed with the taste, textures, or flavors. Sorry Panda, just not my thing. Dude serving was cool enough but just didn't seem to care either way lol

There was a long line so I thought it must be good, but it really wasn't! This is like frozen meals you get in Publix and mine was cold. Too sweet and salty. Rice hard. Wouldn't come here again just didn't like it.

First time in here and didn't think too much of it. It is bright and clean inside but feels like a fast food place, not a Chinese restaurant. The food is cafeteria style and looked like it had been sitting a while. The young American guy with the wok seemed to just be cooking frozen food and that's what it really tasted like. This is nothing like freshly cooked food by a Chinese chef from any of the other local Chinese places in Palm coast. The food lacked flavor and rice was greasy. I see no reason to return here, this is just on the level of McDonald's to me.

The guy serving was really helpful and although what I wanted wasn't on the counter, they made it fresh, which took about 8 minutes, but when I got home it was missing the rice! Just wasn't very good without it and was too far to go back. It's nice and clean and bright inside but wish they hadn't messed up my order.

I went here for lunch for the first time and thought it was quite good. The line was quite long but it went down fast. They have a small selection of classic style Chinese/American dishes and I got the Black Angus Pepper Steak and Orange Chicken with Chow Mein plate which was all very tasty. It was a good variety for a cheap price.
Highlight of visit: The Black Angus Pepper Steak was tasty and tender. The Orange Chicken isn't too sweet.

Got Egg Roll, the SweetFire Chicken, and fried rice. The Chicken was tasty and trendy but the rice and egg roll tasted as if they'd been around a while. Not sure I like the cafeteria style of service anymore... would rather have my order cooked fresh

I must admit that this isn't very authentic Chinese food but I do like some of their dishes especially the Black Pepper Steak or Beijing Beef. My only complaint about the food is that sometimes it looks like it's been sitting too long so I order something they have to make fresh.

All dishes are sweet very American style Chinese and nothing like you'd get in a real Chinese restaurant, but if you're like me and go not expecting anything close to authentic Chinese food and just want a tasty lunch, then it's quite good here. Staff here are hit or miss and you need to go when the trays are fresh. For real Chinese food go elsewhere.

The new Crispy Almond Chicken is good but rice seemed old and dry and Rangoons very hard. Past visit had the Honey Walnut Shrimp which I liked and the sides were all fine and more fresh. Service could be friendlier. Feels like the service at a mall.

Far from authentic but I like many of their dishes for what they are. The Orange Chicken and Beijing Beef are both very tasty and their Fried Rice is good too. Have to make sure it's out fresh as some of the food items sit too long and dry out. Service is alright but just cafeteria style and seating area is clean.

It's OK here for a quick lunch but wish the food looked as good as it does in the pictures. I like the Sweetfire Chicken but sometimes you taste that it's been sitting a while plus it could use more 'fire'. Same with their Kung Pao Chicken. Rice is alright but egg rolls can be too dry.

Sorry, this is not good food. It's all pre-cooked that tastes like frozen from Publix. Server had no enthusiasm and the atmosphere is like a food court at an aging mall. I tried it once and had no reason to ever return. Every other Chinese in Palm Coast beats this place.

If you can go here when it has all the dishes that are fresh then it's really good, but like on my last visit there was few choices and what was there looked dried out. Staff didn't seem very interested either. I guess you have to stick to their peak ties to get best food service.

So no awards here for authenticity but I'm addicted to their Sweetfire Chili Chicken! Awesome flavor and comes with onions, peppers, and pineapple. Love with fried rice and Rangoons. Service hit or miss and inside built to get you in an out. Priced good.
Highlight of visit: Sweetfire Chili Chicken

I go here quite often. They do have a very limited menu but what they do have is rather good... Some reviews indicated the food is frozen... NOT TRUE... if you pay attention you can see them cooking the food. Like I said, it is a limited menu, but the things they do have are very good and the prices are reasonable!
Highlight of visit: Orange Chicken and Beijing Beef.
