Review of Thai and I by Don from Bunnell
So far I've had 3 visits here and it keeps getting better. The food is very flavorful and the ladies working are all very nice. Don't worry about spice level as they can tame it down if you need them to. So much variety to choose from you won't get bored eating here. Easy for parking which is nice.
Highlight of visit: The tamarind duck was excellent and the fish dish I had was really good.

Not the best Thai food around but good to have as a local option. I've had the Pad Thai and Mango Curry and found both had a good flavor but were tamed down to what they probably think is suitable for local palates. I also wish they had a website or Facebook page with a menu to order from online.

We enjoyed the food here and received very good service. My Tom Yum soup could of been warmer but my Panang Curry was very flavorful. The Mango Rice dessert was delicious. Inside is almost the same as when it was a Mexican restaurant and the service was very attentive. I'd definitely go back.

We drove down here to try this place as usual Thai isn't open on Sundays and we were craving it. Inside is not as inviting and although clean it was dated and a little cluttered, but the staff was welcoming and we sat at a booth. The menu has all the standard Thai dishes on it and my wife and I chose our usual curries - me red and her massaman. The first thing we noticed was that the portion sizes seem smaller than we are used to and not much rice. The flavors were good but tasted 'thinner' and I would of liked to see more veggies. Overall it was good but I think I'm just spoiled by having the one in Palm Coast close to my home, as it really is one of the best Thai restaurants in Florida. But Thai and I did the trick for our craving.

Good Thai food but I didn't think it was as flavorful as Thai by Thai and not as creative, and portion sizes small, especially the rice which is probably the cheapest item on the plate. However, it was still tasty and the service was very good. It's good to have in Bunnell and I kind of feel that they're 'dumbing' down the dishes for the locals.

The food is quite good but thought the portions were on the stingy side... needed more rice to go with the curry and very few shrimp. Our server was very good and it's nice and clean inside including the restroom.

I'm not very familiar with Thai food so I don't have anything to gauge this restaurant by in regards to being authentic or better than other Thai places, but I will say that I did really like the food and thought it was delicious and very different from what I'm used to. The flavors are very unique and it looks very pretty too. The staff was nice and explained the popular dishes to us. This is definitley something I could eat often so will be back.

This restaurant has the best Thai food in flagler county. The portions are very generous and we have had great service and a great meal every time we have gone. We have been there 5 times already. Staff is very friendly and even spoke with the owner and chef.
Highlight of visit: Seafood curry, spring rolls, pad Thai and drunken noodles. The fried rice is also excellent.

I have been here twice now; once when it first opened and I thought the food was good but didn't have much 'punch', then again today and it was greatly approved. It seems like they have things together much more and the food was full of flavors. Service was excellent but the atmosphere is kind of dull. Priced about right.

We've visited several times. Service is always friendly and prompt. The food is authentic, fresh and flavorful. Large menu with many items you can't find elsewhere in Flagler County. This is a wonderful addition to our dining options.

I had the Crispy Duck with Basil and thought it was excellent. It had the right amount of spice and although the duck was cooked more than I'm used to, it was tender and very flavorful. The service was very good and the atmosphere is quite nice. I do recommend Thai & I.

I ordered Phad Thai with high expectations but was quite disappointed. The noodles were too moist and sour. Not enough crushed peanuts, scallions and strips of fried egg. Hopefully they will prepare it better next time when I’ll try it again. I really love Phad Thai, so my evaluation is quite strict. 💪

I thought Thai food would be more like Chinese but it's completely different and has much more flavor. I had a noodle dish that was recommended and my wife had a curry plate and we both really liked it. Can't quite describe the flavors but suggest you try it for yourself as it's very good.

I am a chicken nugget connoisseur rarely going out of my way to try new foods, though in this case, I'm glad I did. The food was not only delicious, but plated well. The staff was tentative to our needs, she offered recommendations, verified the spice level with us multiple times, and kept our drinks topped off. So if you're looking for a fulfilling lunch, or dinner full of flavor, this is the place for you!

Went in with low expectations but left very impressed. They have all your favorite dishes and my red curry was everything I hoped for and more. My only complaint was that they didn't ask how spicy and I'd have liked it more so. Young lady serving was very good and although the inside is still very similar to how it was as a Mexican restaurant, it does have some Asian touches added that make it feel nice.

Thought the food here was really good and flavorful and the staff are attentive. We ordered a variety of appetizers and entrees for the table and everything tasted fresh. Everything is cooked to order and everyone in our party thought it was excellent. Apparently the chef used to work at Thai by Thai so they have similar dishes. Their spice level is very mild though so ask if you need that turned up.

Not good at all! Went with five people. Every dish we had, NOT good!!! Bad customer service. I’ll gladly make a longer drive to have better Thai food! Don’t waste your time going here.

It's a nice relaxing place with friendly service but they only had one young lady serving so she was busy around all the tables. I had a green curry with chicken that tasted good but like I've had at any other Thai restaurant. Portions are quite small but their prices are lower and I'd rather pay less and eat it in one sitting anyway. I did like it here and I will definitely return again soon to try some other dishes, and think it's a good addition to Bunnell.

Very pleased to see a Thai restaurant here in Bunnell... it makes a change from all the usual choices we have. Inside is similar to how it was before with the addition of some Thai decor and the menu here is very typical of most Thai places. It was quiet when I went in so we had good attention from the server. Our food came out quite fast and looked very attractive, and tasted so good. Their duck curry is the best and they make a very good drunken noodle. Looking forward to sampling more of their dishes and am very happy that we longer have to leave town for good Thai food.
Highlight of visit: Crispy Duck Curry was very tasty.
