This wood fired pizza is the best! Really nice flavor and they have some awesome toppings. Our server was very sweet and efficient. Very pleasant ambiance and a lovely place.

Very delicious pizza and the service was excellent. Casual dining room with a bar and views of the big open wood fired oven area. The oven definitely improves the taste of the pizza and gives it a great crust. Many topping choices with some unique options. Well worth trying this restaurant for a different kind, and in my opinion, better pizza.

After living in northern Italy for 3 years, my husband and I came to live in Florida - and the quest to find a genuine Italian pizza began! Well, after 16 years of trying, we finally found what we were looking for when Fire in the Hole opened! A wood fired pizza oven operated by people who understand that fresh ingredients on fresh, thin crust pizza dough, cooked quickly and designed to be eaten with a knife and fork add up to an experience equal to that of Italy - the home of pizza.
The atmosphere is elegant yet casual, the menu varied, and the staff friendly and efficient. It all adds up to a very pleasant dining experience.
We recommend it to all our friends. Buon Appetito!
Highlight of visit: Between us we have tried all the pizzas and have loved them all.

I'm a European guy and like to sit down and eat my pizza with a knife and fork and actually taste the ingredients, and that's what I can do here. The pizza is cooked in a clay oven in about a minute which is just enough time to cook the dough and char the toppings just right. The flavor is so much better than you'd get from any pizza franchise. You also get professional service and an elegant environment... no distracting pool tables or ridiculous karaoke... just good high quality food in a calm no rushed atmosphere. Enjoy my friends.

Cool to see the clay pizza oven open to watch from the dining room. Our Shrooms Out pizza was delicious and the wood from the oven gave it a much better taste. Everyone was friendly and you won't find a cleaner restaurant.

We went in here expecting a run of the mill pizza parlor but was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere and service, and the food was really impressive. The Stuffed jalapenos appetizers were unique and delicious and the Fig Pizza was outstanding and we ordered a Chicken Bruschetta pizza for takeaway and will have it later tonight. This is a very professionally run business and much more than just a pizza joint.

So many pizza places opening up around here lately it's hard to try them all but had a chance to pick up form here today. The pizza is in a clay oven which sets this one apart and it does provide a better 'char' to the pie which I like and I also like the size of their pizza here as it's just right. They have some interesting toppings and I can recommend the Shroom Out that was very good and flavorful with a hint of truffles. Pretty good prices too and the ingredients are high quality. I was in and out quite fast but it looked nice inside and will be back for sit down meal soon.

Liked their style of pizza. It has the woodsy taste. Service was quick and friendly. Place is done nicely. They need a cocktail menu but everything was good.

Very impressed with the beet pizza! Not something I'd had before and loved the flavor combinations, and the crust was just how I like it too. Service was on the slow side but they did a good job renovating the place. I thought the prices were reasonable and I will be back again.
Highlight of visit: The Beet Pizza which has roasted beets, blue cheese with balsamic and EVO.

Fire In The Hole is a new pizza joint with the same layout as before as a Mexican restaurant but with the addition of a pizza oven and newly decorated like a modern trattoria lowered by televisions. The staff was welcoming and attentive but our food took a while to arrive. We had a simple Margarita pizza which looked very good with a blistery crust but could have been done with more flavor or seasoning. The Caprese Salad was very good and fresh, and their fries are good too. I would visit again only would order one of their specialty pizzas for hopefully more flavor.

The service was excellent along with the atmosphere. They have a full bar so if you don’t want to go to a “dive” to have a drink and an appetizer, this place is great. It’s a good place to eat if you go out alone for lunch or supper too. We had the pizza, which wasn’t like your traditional pie. It was very light and was like a focaccia crust. My granddaughter had ravioli and meatballs. The meatballs were very delicious and were made with quality meat ( I only use high quality) and were juicy. The add ons on the pizza were fresh and there were kalamata olives on the pizza that was delicious too. If you like a run of the mill pizza, this place isn’t for you. It is a little more pricey but remember, you get what you pay for. It’s a clean and nicely decorated restaurant with good food. What else could you ask for? Good luck to the owners for opening a really nice restaurant in Palm Coast.
Highlight of visit: Nutella pizza was my granddaughter’s favorite.

I’m very fussy when it comes to pizza coming from Bklyn. I must say the best Neapolitan wood fire style pizza around. Will be a regular here.
Highlight of visit: Pizza & salads

Their customer service is very good and menu reads a little more upscale than the average local pizza parlors. The Stuffed jalapenos starter was very good and the Shroom Out pizza was delicious. I will say that their pizzas seem smaller than most (I think 13") but quality much better and a nice bubbly crust. Tastefully decorated and spotless.

Very nice inside and friendly staff. Food was not so spectacular. Mine came cold and the cheese wasn't even melted. The meatballs were dry and the sauce was extremely bland. Pricing a little high for what you get.

They're off to a good start with good tasting pizza and truffle fires are worth the trip alone. They have a wood fired oven but the pizza didn't really have any of that taste. They did a nice job transforming the dining room but the bar is very limited and could be improved.
