Not as good as I expected but still worth visiting. We were greeted nicely and seated but the server after that made us feel like an inconvenience. The restaurant has a nice modern Mexican vibe and the bar looked very cool. The menu was like one from Denny's with big pictures, but had plenty to choose from. The food arrived quickly and was very tasty. I had a steak mole and although different to what I've had elsewhere, the taste was excellent. My wife had the fajitas and was also very satisfied. The cocktails also tasted good but didn't seem very strong.

Had the server been nicer and had a better attitude this would of been a 5-star review. We'll return with the hope of a better and more enthusiastic server.

We really enjoy the food here and my girlfriend loves that they have a veggie menu. Good happy hour with specials on margaritas and sangrias. Taco Tuesdays are a deal but can get busy. Servers so so and seem to be more in a hurry than wanting to give you time. Atmosphere cool.

Food is very good here but we have noticed that the service is not what it used to be. You used to get a big warm welcome and the servers friendly, plus someone from management would always stop by and check on us, but all that has gone now. It feels more like a production line and they have definitely lost that personal touch. We'll give it another go as we like the food and hope service improves.

Went here for the first time last night for taco Tuesday and have mixed feeling about it. The food I liked although I was expecting better deals for Taco Tuesday and it was all normal pricing and quite expensive. We were seated right away and our server came over straight away and although he was very efficient he was not friendly and acted like he didn't have much time for us. The menu is like Denny's with big pictures and the food came out swiftly and quite well presented. Not impressed with the drinks and not thought they were not worth the money. I did like the food and I'd go back on another night or maybe for lunch to try again. Maybe the server had issues yesterday!

I did like Dahlia and it's food is really quite good but it's not without its faults. We visited tonight for Taco Tuesday due to their advertising for two tacos for $5 but once inside there is no mention of those on the menu or by our server. The margaritas tasted very weak for alcohol and served in old soda glasses instead of nice margarita glasses which would make it much more special. We were given chips and salsa almost immediately and the server came up straight away but we hadn't had a chance to look at t the menu yet and it took a long time for him to return. We ordered and even though it was very busy the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The food was good. Presentation was nice and flavors excellent. Portion sizes generous. Never saw the server again until we needed the bill. The ambiance is quite cool with sugar sculls and neon but the booths and tables are showing much sign of wear with our seats tapes up and table tops blistering and peeling. It was pricey considering how weak margaritas were but the food does make everything else seem less important, but it would be nice to a touch better.

    Highlight of visit: Garden Quesadillas

I always forget about this place as it's out of our way but we do really enjoy it. It's very professionally run with staff pitching in and checking up on you, the food is well presented and the restaurant has very nice decor and a cool looking bar area. The food is always good but last night we visited for Taco Tuesdays and I really fell in love with their new Spicy Tofu Tacos!! They were soooo delish! Drinks are probably the let down for me as all I've had so far have been very sweet and tasted weak. But I do like the place and will visit often.

Well, Trying to be fair....we have been here twice. First was a serious disappointment for certain. Three in our party and it was happy hour so we ordered the wine and I thought seriously they must have ran out as my glass was not even half a glass filled (it was an avg. size wine glass) and it must have been 1/4 filled in other words two sips! I asked the waitress and she said that they were not out and that was the right amount...that was the first serious let down so for my next drink I went with bottled beer as they can't screw that up. The other two in my party also were very disappointed on their cocktails and both said they were too watered down (tons of ice with no room for the cocktail) both took two sips/ swallows and gone (no joke).

Our food was small in portion for the price and somewhat bland. I am from a Latin background and raised with true handmade / homemade full of flavor Mexican food. My sons too have tried this place with their families and friends were not fans either.

Went tonight for Taco Tuesday. Not really a good deal so ordered from the regular menu. Tacos were super spicy but very tasty, vegetarian quesadilla was excellent and veg burrito also very good. Black beans were awesome and rice flavorful and garlicky but didn't get much. Margaritas quite good but seemed light in the alcohol. Server was good and the atmosphere is quite cool, but I did have to swap out chair as mine was broken, and I would of liked side plates and hot sauce on the tables... I've never been to a Mexican restaurant that didn't have that on the tables. Overall quite good for the area.

Highlight of visit: Garden Quesadilla with spinach and artichoke hearts.

I like Dahlia Mexican Kitchen restaurant but half the time that I have been there the food has been brought to the table at what could be best described as only lukewarm. I expect burritos and refried beans to be hot when served. I really don't like to send stuff back to be given another shot at the microwave.

We found this restaurant a great experience! The food is amazing and staff are attentive and make you feel very welcome. The menu has all the usual Mexican dishes plus some interesting additions especially seafood. My girlfriend is vegetarian and was happy to see some veggie options but would of liked to of seen a few more selections. The bar area looks very 'chic' but we found the drinks were a bit of a let down. Overall a great place and we will be back.

Visited for dinner last night I have to say this was a very good experience. Service very friendly and welcoming and the menu has a large selection of food and drinks. Interesting selection of margaritas and cocktails, and our tasted very good but didn't seem very strong. My burrito was very tasty and my wife loved her fajitas. Atmosphere is quite nice and staff attentive. I would have liked some hot sauces but everything else was very good. This is a very nice addition to the beach area and we will definitely be back.

We have eaten there three times now since they opened which hasn't been that long ago and each time the service has been fantastic, the staff energetic and attentive to your needs. The owner comes by your table with that great smile and asks how is everything. Great drinks and the food is awesome. So far we haven't had a bad meal. ps: the house margaritas will sneak up on you :)

Finally, an authentic and GOOD Mexican restaurant and located in our little community. The owner, a Spanish woman named Lupe, has a little gem in this restaurant.

Having spent some time in Mexico, and lived in California, it was easy to get spoiled by the easy availability of really good Mexican food. Having moved back to Florida, I've been searching for that perfect and authentic place that served real Mexican fare. Dahlia's hit the nail square on the head.

To be sure, there are some Americanized dishes there too. You'll find burritos (an American invention), fajitas, hard-shell corn-tortilla tacos and such (also American). However, their menu is packed with food that is the real deal. Genuine soft-shell tacos, with carne asada, carnitas and al pastor. Poblanos, moles and more. And, the flavor is awesome!

I had the Pick 3 Taco plate, which and chose 1 each of carne asada, carnitas and al pastor. The tacos are served simply (and correctly) with just a smattering of onion, cilantro, queso blanco (hard, white cheese) and... Well that's it. Real Mexican tacos are simple creations. The meats used however, are very flavorful, marinated and grilled to perfection! The carnitas was music to my palate and the al pastor taco was absolutely heavenly, with gentle notes of pineapple, just as the Almighty intended. :-)

My mother had 3 chicken tacos and likewise, the chicken was seasoned well, shredded and served simply. Each dish came with a side of refried beans with just a dash of queso blanco. Again, just fantastic. Neither of us chose to add anything to enhance the meal. The food was not spicy-hot, but had excellent flavor. Adding to it would have taken something away.

To drink, mom had the Corazon margarita, a sweet raspberry-base with a salted rim. She loved it, though I found it too sweet for my personal taste. I tried--and loved-- the Horchata Borracha, which was a nice twist on a typical Mexican horchata (a rice-based drink) with a shot of some very nice rum.

I can't extol how wonderful this place is. I'm definitely a fan and will be back again for sure. If you are visiting this area and looking for a genuine Mexican-style lunch or dinner, Dahlia's is a must.
