El Pollo Colorao Puerto Rican Eatery CLAIMED

Love the food here but can't believe they close at 6PM right in the middle of dinner time - makes ordering from there difficult when I don't get out until 6! But when I can I always really enjoy their food and the service is awesome. Their Pernil is the BEST!

Staff very fast and friendly. Good food at great prices. Everything tasty and cooked just right. Chicken is delicious and love their yucca. Wish they were open more!

Chicken I had was very good and the yucca was good too, but not impressed with the mofongo which was just like a flavorless ball of dough. Guy serving was cool and mostly take out only with a few seats outside.

Their food here is excellent and the guys serving always friendly and fast. I just really wish they opened longer hours! Not even open for dinner time! What's wrong with that? Chicken is the best and all sides are awesome. Combos are good value.

Love the food here and good to see that they're expanding but I really wish they had better hours. I don't get off from work until 6PM at which time they're already closed, so the only day I can order from here is on a Saturday. But I do enjoy their food and hope when they open the larger location they will open later.

So much better inside since its renovations . They have the best Puerto Rican food around and everything I've had has been delicious. Great chicken and the Mofongos are awesome. Make sure you finish with their Tres Leches... SO good! Very well priced and service fast.

Got lunch to go from here today and was surprised how it has improved. They have a new layout inside which is much better and provides for more room and distancing. You can't see the food case anymore but ordering was quick and the guy serving was polite and fast. The food tasted great and I enjoyed my lunch greatly. Love their yucca and plantains! Good job guys.

Order from here about once a month and was disappointed when I went in today to see staff not wearing a mask! Two young men in there and one had a mask and one didn't. The one with was polite and friendly and served and checked me out. The other one had an attitude about him and other customers were talking about him. Food was good but I felt very uneasy in there. Cannot recommend.

Close to normal in here... been in twice and usual counter service but main fridge with bread and desserts etc., is turned around so public can no longer access. Food is always delicious and guys serving are charming. It's very small so not easy to social distance.

Ordered their packaged takeout meals and was very impressed. Efficient ordering and pickup and the meals were nicely put together. We had the family combos of chicken and pork with rice, beans, yucca and plantains. Everything was delicious and well priced. I hope they can keep the service running.

I come here just for their yucca and plantains which are both excellent. Always cooked just right and fresh. The young men serving are friendly and fast and prices good.
