KoKoRo Steaks, Sushi & Martini Bar PERMANENTLY CLOSED

Being a restaurant owner here in Palm Coast , I rarely do reviews, for obvious reasons. Even though I may be sabotaging my own business, I have to write this review out of respect for this establishment. You rarely can find a place with sensational food , that is warm, friendly and every ounce of heart and soul goes into everything they do. I respect this because I know how hard it is to spend every day in and out satisfying others. Siri and Tomo are not only extraordinary business owners but they have the best sushi/Japanese food you will find anywhere. My husband and I have lived all over the United States eating sushi. From Palm Springs, California, Hawaii, New York, you name it.. pretty much every city we find sushi bars to frequent. Kokoro is by far the best tasting, innovative sushi with the best service you will find anywhere. We were one of Kokoro's first customers when they opened and we dine or take out from Kokoro at least once a week. It is my favorite little gem of a place and we wish them all the success they deserve!

The "best sushi & sashimi" in Palm Coast , Suri is a wonderful hostess and Sara is a pleasure to have serve us. Many different types of rolls always fresh and always a nice presentation. Check out there menu online you wont be disappointed!

Hands down the best sushi in town. The selection is wonderful and the flavors are tremendous. Impeccable service and we felt very appreciated by the management.

Best Sushi in the tri-county area! No need to travel when we are lucky enough to have great sushi and fantastic customer service at KoKoRo. It was great to see you guys out at the 4th Festivities. The shrimp and beef skewers were delicious! Recommend to everyone! Keep up the great work and terrific food!

Great to see your support for our area at Flagler on the 4th. You have the best food all of the time. The beef you grilled on a stick would melt in your mouth. You have been and will always be "The Best".

We have been coming here since it opened and have had consistently excellent food and service. The owners are very pleasant and always remember their regular customers. Their sushi is fresh and perfectly prepared, and their steaks are excellent quality. They also have a selection of very good wines.

Love this place. It's a little pricey so can't afford to visit too often, but it's great for a special night out. Food and service are always wonderful and a welcome change from the usual options around Palm Coast.

Very good experience all round. The restaurant is somewhat minimalist but sophisticated. Service is professional, attentive and efficient. The food is obviously prepared with passion. It's delicate flavors come through very well and each course compliments the next. Kokoro offers a touch of class to Palm Coast dining without being too over the top or expensive.

Best sushi and best service in Palm Coast! My husband and I eat at Kokoro quite often and are never disappointed! Highly recommend!

We are so pleased that Kokoro is here in Palm Coast. Finally, a Japanese restaurant that you can really eat in and enjoy. The people are all wonderful who own and work there. It is a pleasure to dine at KoKoro.

My Husband and I have eaten sushi everywhere and hands down this is the best!!! Very fresh and the owners take pride in their business and the quality of their food. The menu is innovative and we are so lucky to have this spot in Palm Coast. We love it and take everyone we know in to support the business. It has something for everyone including kids.

Loved it! Very nice atmosphere with pleasent service. Food was very good I really enjoyed the sushi. This place is kind of hidden so I never think of it when we're going to eat.

Just tried Kokoro for the first times and loved it! I wish I had gone sooner. This is new food to me and it was fun trying some of the items. There were other items on the menu I wanted to try so I will definitely return. Service was also excellent and the place was very nice.

Had sushi here the other night and it was SPECTACULAR! I have eaten sushi in many different restaurants, both in Florida and in a number of other places, and none compare to the sushi at Kokoro. Their sushi is so fresh and tasty. It's a tad on the pricey side, but you get exactly what you pay for.

As a side-note, I went with 4 other people, one had tried sushi before at other places, but really wasn't sure if he liked it. Well Kokoro's changed his mind. All of us can't wait to go back. I recommend this place highly!

We always enjoy an evening out at Kokoro! The service is friendly and the food is high quality and so well presented. Be sure to ask Siri and Tomo about their recent trip to Thailand and Japan.

For Renee, the steak price you were describing is not the regular angus beef but KOBE beef. KOBE beef is very difficult to get and meticulously raised to be finely grained in texture and superbly tender. This is Not your average steak. Because of the type of beef this is reservations must be made in advance to order this fine beef. Another faithful fan of KoKoRo in Palm Coast, FL.

I visited with friends for some sushi. The Philadelphia Roll with smoked salmon was excellent as was the avocado roll... will try more next time. But that Philadelphia roll.... oh yeah!

Excellent!.We have always gone to KoKoRo since their opening day. We have never once been disappointed with anything there. We love sushi, I am from Japan, and this isn't Americanized sushi that lacks tradition. Its real, authentic, and fresh.

Try it and you will understand what quality food tastes like when presented with class and pride. The owners and employees of this fine establishment understand that there customers are all equally important. Kokoro Sushi Bar and Japanese Bistro is a place relax and enjoy. Everyday is a good day for sushi. (Try the Tuna Fireball !!! )
