I tried all the other Mexican restaurants and Cinco de Mayo is my least favorite. The murals and decor are fun and colorful, but the restaurant still manages to feel kind of dull and dingy. Same with the food, it looked pretty good and I was anxious to dig in, but it lacked flavor, freshness, and texture, and was overall very forgettable. The server was friendly but didn't enquire about anything. The margaritas tasted cheap.

They had very good service and the food was flavorful. I liked the fish tacos and the street corn, but the house marg was not very good, which tasted like it was made with some cheap tequila and sugary mix. The decor is nice but the atmosphere was very dull.

Delicious food and excellent portions as well. Wife had 3 of the street tacos al carbon which were fantastic, and I has the steak fajitas which was heaping with meat. Very good!
Highlight of visit: Alexa was our server and she was prompt, courteous and always there when we needed something - outstanding service!

The food didn't taste fresh as if it had been sitting for a long time. Rice was very dry and hard. The tamales were good and I liked their salsa. Service was ok but I felt like we were disturbing their break.

Review by Andy, Palm Coast 9/30/20254.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
Came in for lunch and had a combo meal of a burrito, refried beans and rice, which wasn't too bad for about $11. The house margarita wasn't that great. It was sweet and had a strange after taste. It was like they used some cheap mix and not one made in house. I sat at the bar and the service was friendly, but I don't think they were set up for customers there that early in the day.

The food here has good flavor and I believe it tastes more authentic than Cantina Louis or Margarita Island. It doesn’t have the style of those though with chipped plates, noisy Uber eats alarms, etc. But the staff are good and the decor is quite cool.

Cinco is our favorite Mexican restaurant in town. We always get good service, the atmosphere is cool, and the food is delicious. Good sized portions, great variety, and the cocktails are a star. Love their fajitas and nachos panzones. The shrimp cocktails is a showstopper.

Nice place and our server was attentive and friendly. I had a combo meal of enchilada, burrito and rice and beans which was tasty and quite a good deal. The margarita I had cost more than my meal, but it was very good. I'd go here again.

We usually got to Maragrita Island but was at Target so gave Conco a try. Inside is very cool and our server was friendly and very attentive. The house margaritas and ranchero dip appetizer were very good. Our entrees tasted good, but the plating looked like my 4 year old did it! I guess they were in a hurry, but need to make their food look more appealing.

I wish they were open earlier as the Huevos Con Chorizo is an awesome hangover cure 🥴 Shame they also sell great margaritas - and so the cycle starts all over again LOL At least it's Monday tomorrow and back to work. Do like this place though and great staff.

We came here when it first openeded and it was not good and tried again tonight and it was like a different restaurant. The service was fantastic and the food so much improved. Everything was delicious and tasted freshly made. Very fun atmosphere and for a better time don't pass up on the margs. Proof that you should never give up on a place, even the best have off days and need time to settle in.

I'm surprised I don't see more love for Cinco de Mayo! We have never had a bad experience here... the food is delicious and the service is excellent. Love the atmosphere and they play some cool tunes too, Very generous sized portions and always leave with boxes for later.

I had heard mixed reviews of Cinco de Mayo but I thought it was good. The food was tasty and plentiful but maybe just a bit too salty. Love the margaritas and the fried ice cream was a nice treat. Good customer service and friendly. My GF was happy to see so many vegetarian choices.

The service at Cinco de Mayo is very good and it has a nice atmosphere. The food is tasty and portion sizes are generous. The menu has so much to choose from including some good value lunch specials and combo meals. My favorite drink here is the Mexican Mule and my wife loves their Margaritas.

Last time going there. They advertise $4.99 margaritas out front, it says nothing about Happy Hour. When the bill comes they are $6.99…. Not big…small size. When we asked were told only at Happy Hour… should be advertised as such. I ordered a burrito… nothing special, lacking in Flavor. Tried to like this place… but naw. 3 strikes… you’re out. Won’t go back. Should’ve known better when the place was empty. Lesson learned.

Service was slow even though there were only a few other tables occupied, plus they have upcharges you have to be careful of. I asked for some cilantro and it was on the bill!!! But the food was tasty and looked good too. Margaritas were typical mix type and was told there is no actual bartender, or at least not working that day. Overall the food was reasonable but I like the other Mexican restaurants in Flagler better.

We love coming to Cinco de Mayo on Tuesday, for our date night. Jasmine has gotten to know us as regulars. We are her regulars! She is so sweet. The food is so yummy and always serve with a sweet smile and kind word.
Highlight of visit: Jasmine is so sweet, very efficient and friendly. We always request her table.

Cinco de Mayo in Palm Coast serves Mexican and Tex-Mex dishes with generous portions and mostly flavorful food. Favorites among customers include the steak fajitas, street tacos al carbon, fish tacos, and nachos panzones. The shrimp cocktail and ranchero dip also receive positive mentions. Service is frequently described as friendly and attentive, contributing to a relaxed dining experience. The colorful decor adds interest, though some find the atmosphere a bit dull. The house margaritas often receive mixed feedback; some find them enjoyable while others note they taste sweet or made with inexpensive mix. While the food's freshness can vary, with occasional reports of dry rice or hurried plating, many still appreciate the overall value and good variety on the menu. The restaurant is moderately priced and offers a casual setting for Mexican fare.
