Mmm mmm Good!!! My second time here, and I'm very pleased with the food and service. Their open-faced turkey platter special, and liver and onions special, are to die for. You must come, and taste the food, and enjoy the atmosphere. Very nice!!

This new diner is great! Food is above average as is the service. The dining area is spotlessly clean. We will definitely go back.

This was our first time. We had tasty sandwiches, delish side salads, and the best crumb cake in the world! We will return. Cannot wait to try the other freshly made desserts. Awesome, friendly place!

So glad that Michael is back in the restaurant business in Palm Coast! I wanted to sample everything that they had to offer, was so tasty. I had their chicken salad sandwich, my husband had their corned beef Reuben sandwich, we had all 3 of their side dishes which were delicious (the potato salad, pasta salad, and coleslaw). We have never tasted any better coleslaw and pasta salad before. The portions are big and had some to take home. We got the special of the day to go which was stuffed cabbage and mashed potatoes which we will have tomorrow for dinner. I also got containers of the chicken salad, and side salads to go. I'm looking forward to a breakfast there and also want to try their baked scrod au gratin next Friday. Their pastries looked delicious and are all home made by Michael. The waitress and staff are all very friendly and accommodating. We wish him the best in his new restaurant!

After having some blood work at a nearby hospital, my friend and I, stopped off for some breakfast. There on Old Kings Road was the Cactus Flower Café. We walked in and took a table near the front window. Our server, Cathy (?) explained the menu and took our order. Our only complaint, was that Cathy took too long in serving coffee. The eggs, sausage (not those frozen little things) and very thin sliced fried potatoes, were delicious. But you may say, what can you do to eggs? Just ask Mike Policastro, the chef who made a simple breakfast into a delicious morning venture. We noticed on the bulletin board, a pot roast luncheon special. We asked if we could take 2 orders home - the answer was "yes" and so we did. We did not regret making this decision, as our dinner for 2 - pot roast dinner was superb - tender, delicious and great even with it's being slightly re-warmed. The prices of all their food is more than fair - the restaurant is " clean as a whistle" and a big welcoming smile upon your entrance. Take my word for it (I am a very fussy eater) - you will not be disappointed. Food is great (breakfast and lunch - dinner for us) - you will go back more than you think. Stop driving around Palm Coast when a great restaurant is so near.

The waitress was pleasant. Food fresh and tasty but the burger was overcooked.

Have been looking for, "real" pastrami in this area for eighteen years, FINALLY found it here!... outstanding!... as good as Katz's in Manhattan... sandwich is New York sized...huge... served on marbled rye with dill pickle spear... also included is a choice of side....had,definitely home made, delicious cole slaw. Husband had a Rueben which he thoroughly enjoyed. Opted for dessert to go... Chocolate Almond Joy cake... so good. After checking out the breakfast fare, that will be our next visit. Owners are locals and made us feel very welcomed. Give it a try, you will be glad you did.
