Take out counter only with some tables outside. Service was friendly and fast and their prices are very reasonable. Guava BBQ Chicken was excellent and the yucca was cooked perfectly. Sweet Plantains and yellow rice both very good.

They keep teasing us with the extension into next door to allow indoor seating, which I have given up hope for, so in the meantime I get takeout and eat in my truck. The service is great and the food is excellent! The guava chicken BBQ chicken with yuca and plantains is usually my choice for lunch, but sometimes I get the tripleta pork sandwich.

This is like Puerto Rican fast food... order at the counter and the food appears quickly from out back. You don't see anything before you order except the menus, and I assume everything is pre-cooked judging by how quickly it comes out. But it takes great so who cares? Staff are very friendly. Just wish they had somewhere to sit and eat inside. We have to eat in our truck which isn't the best and why we don't go so often.

Clean ordering area that always smells good when I walk in, and the guys are happy to serve you. Food is always delicious and tastes like it was freshly cooked. My only complaint is that they have short opening hours and I'd also wish they would hurry up and get the addition next door finished so we can eat in... they've been saying it's coming for years! But I do highly recommend this place for some really excellent Puerto Rican food.

Small counter order place with some of the best food and service in Palm Coast. Their chicken is awesome all the sides are delicious... can't get enough of their yuca! Some tables outside which even have dominos to play.
Highlight of visit: We get the medium family meal that comes with a whole chicken, 1/2lb pork, large rice and a side plus loaf of garlic bread for under $30!

They have the best service here of anywhere... it's just a whole in the wall place but the guys behind the counter are always so upbeat and appear to really enjoy what they do. As for the food, it's delicious! The chicken is consistently tender and tastes great and all the sides are perfect... love the yucca, yellow rice, black beans, and sweet plantains. Very affordable prices too.

Good PR food and the best pollo in town! The service is good and it looks much better now they've upgraded inside... they're expanding to next door so hoping they'll have inside eating available again.

Love the food here but can't believe they close at 6PM right in the middle of dinner time - makes ordering from there difficult when I don't get out until 6! But when I can I always really enjoy their food and the service is awesome. Their Pernil is the BEST!

El Pollo Colorao in Palm Coast offers authentic Puerto Rican dishes known for generous portions and good value. The rotisserie chicken is frequently praised for its flavor and juiciness, while combos like pastelon and guava BBQ chicken draw positive remarks. Sides such as garlic-y yucca and black beans receive consistent praise. Service is friendly and attentive, with staff eager to assist with menu choices and ensure a smooth ordering experience. The casual counter-service setting is clean, though many note that dine-in meals come in takeaway containers rather than on plates. While most find the flavors well balanced and satisfying, a few experienced the mofongo as bland. Overall, the restaurant delivers a hearty, affordable taste of Puerto Rican cuisine with welcoming staff in a straightforward environment.
