Review of The Island Grille by Jerry from Palm Coast
I hadn't been in here since it was Blue. Not too much changed but didn't seem to have the kitschiness as before and was somewhat stark white. Menu was not large but nice enough selection and I ordered the Lobster Bisque to start and the Shrimp & Scallops as an entree. Like at Blue, the Lobster Bisque is the same and tasted excellent. The Shrimp & Scallops were good too, with an Asian twist all perfectly cooked. Service was attentive but we felt hurried towards to the end... it was only 8PM but they seemed eager for us to leave.

Creative dishes and everything tasted wonderful. Loved the Wasabi Oyster and their Lobster Bisque is absolutely the best I've had. Staff a delight and the atmosphere is takes you back to calmer times. A feelgood place with very enticing dishes. Make reservations if you plan on visiting peak times. Excellent views.

Bought 3 takeout dinners from Island Grille tonight. The food was ready at the requested time. It was warm, well packaged and absolutely delicious. Same quality as dine in and hopefully we will be doing that again soon.
Highlight of visit: Wasabi salmon is our favorite.

Been here twice now and like it very much. The menu is eclectic and mishmash with items from poke bowls and Thai curry to Quesadillas and Shrimp Pomodoro, so it's kind of lacking an identity. On my first visit I had the
Wasabi Salmon which was excellent but my partner's Thai Curry Bowl was disappointing to her. On our second visit I chose the Ahi Tuna that was an incredible dish with much going on in a good way. My partner this time ordered the Vegetable Stir Fry that she enjoyed and really liked the use of quinoa in lieu of rice.
The atmosphere is inviting with an inside area that is very interesting and outside verandahs offer wonderful ocean views. Service was professional and prices are on the high side for the area, although worth it for the quality.

Nice place to dine in a piece of local history. Love the setting and magnificent views. Staff professional and although pricey it's worth it. Can't get enough of their Wasabi Oysters and their Roasted Duck is the best. Cocktails are so so though so I stick with wine.
Highlight of visit: Wasabi Oysters are a must!

A nice little restaurant with a outdoor porch offering wonderful views of the oceanfront. The food is a step up from the usual A1A establishments with reasonable pricing and professional service. Every meal I've had here has been delicious and I particularly enjoy Sunday brunch here. They have a good selection of items on the menu to please most pallets from roast duck to burgers. Make sure you try the Lobster Bisque! It's sooooooo good.
