Review of La Piazza Cafe by Leonard from Palm Coast
My wife and I had an excellent meal here last night. We found the restaurant to be higher end but casual, with professional staff that were inviting and very attentive. The food was very nicely plated and very delicious. We aim to return here again before we head back home.

Had dinner here tonight and sat outside which we didn't like too much as our table was to the side of the main area outside a banquet room with a divider, and it didn't feel like we were part of the restaurant and it had no ambiance. Our server though was excellent! He had a lot of personality and tried his best to please. The lobster bruschetta is one of La Piazza's signature appetizers and was a superb dish. For an entree, I had the Carbonara which was good and looked nice when it arrived, but it was honestly no better tasting than I've had at a local pizza parlor. For the price and the awful spot we were seated at, I was not very impressed. But I would return and sit inside or at least closer to the main entrance so I feel like I'm actually dining at the restaurant.

We couldn't have wished for a better meal. The whole dining experience was top notch with professional staff to the excellent food. My wife and I were on a date celebrating an event and our waitress made the evening special for us. All the food looked and tasted superb. The atmosphere was elegant and we were not rushed. It was a pricey meal, especially with wine but worth it for a special occasion.
Highlight of visit: The Calamari Fritti antipasti, Pasta Lorenzo, and the Pescatore were the highlight dishes of the evening.

Snooty attitude and food was average at best. INSANELY OVERPRICED. Then they brought us the check and i gave them my credit card. They brought back a voucher for me to sign and left the restaurant bill away from me. The credit card charge was for more by about eight dollars than what was on the bill and there was no tip added. They tried to cheat us. I demanded that they adjust it and they went and brought me a correct voucher to sign. I donβt trust this place at all and I think it is a total rip off.

Wife and I had a date night here last night and couldn't have wished for a better experience. The service is professional and courteous and the ambiance is romantic with a traditional Italian feel. The antipastis Carpaccio and Vongole al Forno were both delicious and for entrees we had the Carbonara and Pescatore that had perfectly cooked pasta and flavorful sauces. We're not drinkers so didn't have wine and no room for dessert but we did finish off with a very good coffee. The bill was on the high side but I felt like it was justified by he high quality of food and service and they did make our evening special.

Had an excellent dining experience here with my wife. It's a nice romantic spot with exceptional service. The food was superb and was perfectly prepared and presented. I don't usually eat dessert but it's not to be missed here. Wine choices were all good and the ambiance was very refined and sophisticated.

Very elegant inside and service professional. Everything on the menu sounded so good and I had a penne pasta dish with pancetta and onions in a spicy tomato sauce. The penne was cooked perfectly, the pancetta was nice and crispy, and the sauce was very flavorful. No room for dessert but the choices looked delicious. My date made a good choice of bringing me here πππ

This is a top notch restaurant with highly professional staff, high quality food, and a very nice setting. The Lobster Caprese appetizer is phenomenal and my veal dish was cooked to perfection and tasted so good. Our server was very attentive and she took care of everything. Their wines are excellent too and dessert is not to be missed. This is really not a place to rush at and deserves that you take your time to savor and enjoy.

We visited Palm Coast the weekend before Christmas and had to tell everyone about La Piazza. This place feels like a very authentic Italian restaurant, especially where it's located in the Euro Village. The setting is very elegant and the staff really made the experience special. The food is amazing and we were very impressed with its quality and flavors. You can tell a lot of care goes into the cooking and even a simple Bruschette was elevated. For finer dining, the prices are very reasonable and their wine selection is very good too. We can't wait to return again in the summer and sample more from La Piazza.

When we think about celebrating life we hope for an amazing, memorable time where we can laugh and treasure each other. That is exactly what we experienced at La Piazza Cafe.
We celebrated our mom's 75th birthday. Beginning with the friendly welcoming, continuing to the very knowledgeable staff, adding an impressive wine selection and, of course, phenomenal food, all we can say is "Outstanding"!
"We have traveled to many countries and tried many restaurants; La Piazza Cafe is, by far, a favorite."
Highlight of visit: The entire experience from beginning to end was outstanding!

My wife and I enjoyed an amazing meal here last night. Firstly, the service is highly professional where it's very efficient but not over bearing. Secondly, the ambiance is perfect. It's elegant and sophisticated but relaxing with a pleasant European feel. The menu is full of enticing dishes plus some American/Italian options. I ordered the Fra Diavolo and my wife had a dish with veal cutlets and spaghettini. Both dishes were superb and excellently prepared and presented. With wine it was pricey but in our opinion worth every cent.

Had a perfect evening here last weekend for our wedding anniversary. Service couldn't of been better and our food was delicious and so nicely presented. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet not stuffy and there are so many great sounding dishes on the menu it's hard to decide. Unfortunately, it is pricey and our budget doesn't allow us to visit too often, but it's a definite treat for us on special occasions.

We waited two hours to be seated and was then told that the restaurant was closing. We were sent home hungry and since we waited two hours we missed the opportunity to eat elsewhere.

Had a great experience here. Staff attentive and not over bearing. Went for New Years and sat outside where the atmosphere felt elegant but fun. Every course was delicious especially the Frutti Di Mare. Wine selections were good and although pricey, it was well worth it.

Really enjoyed the food here but found the pretentiousness a little over bearing. Service was very attentive but came with an attitude or air about it. However, we couldn't really fault the food and was by far the best Italian we've eaten in Palm Coast and priced reasonably, too. The European Village has some excellent dining options with La Piazza Cafe probably being the oldest running. Just hope they loosen up a little on the attitude.

The food was fabulous and the ambiance very sophisticated and enjoyable. It's pricey but the food is excellent and worth the splurge. The only complaint was the slow service.

I think I may have had too high an expectation of La Piazza as it was a let down. I did like the food but for the prices I expected more as it really didn't wow me. It was no better than Olive Garden to me. Service is what really lowered my opinion though. It was efficient enough but was just was not that friendly and had an attitude about it, almost like an arrogance which soured me. I'm glad I tried it here and will leave it at that.

Had a wonderful romantic meal here with hubby Friday night. It has a lovely European bistro ambiance with very friendly and professional servers. The menu had so many great sounding items I had trouble choosing. All the food was amazing and tasted fresh and handmade. Wine selection is excellent and the desserts were divine. Couldn't have wished for a better meal and can't recommend La Piazza enough.

Visited with friends for an anniversary celebration last weekend and had an outstanding meal. Everything in regards to the service and setting was close to perfect. Their food is very rich and flavorful and cooked just right. My rack of lamb was spectacular. Their wine selection is impressive and service was professional throughout the night. If you visit try to sit outside if the weather is nice, it truly feels like you're in another country with the courtyard view and ambiance.

One of my most favorite restaurant in Palm Coast. We go here often. My favorite dish is the Veal Picatta. I can't say enough good things about their menu. The service is great and their prices are reasonable. You don't mind an upcharge if the food is good.
