Review of Romero's by Adena Kelly from Palm Coast
They've added a bar at the front since I was here last which is very nice as it has the only seats in the house with a view out front. They have so many tasty sounding dishes on the menu and I highly recommend their Butternut Squash Ravioli and the Antipasto Salad was excellent too. The guy serving was professional and my only complaint is that I wish they had a better wine list and choice f beers... at least add some Italian ones. I really enjoyed the experience here and will definitely return.

A small Italian restaurant opposite the beach and pier with friendly service and some tasty food. First of all, I will admit to liking the decor or vibe very much as it felt very outdated and drab with an industrial looking ceiling with plastic plants hanging and wrought iron wall hangings. However, we had very good service and we did enjoy the food which was delicious and plentiful. We went over the Christmas holiday with family and their menu catered to all our tastes. My Ravioli was excellent which had the most amazing sauce. We would definitely visit again for the food next time we're in Flagler.

On the negative side the service was slow and the atmosphere was kind of dull and very dated, but on the positive side the food we had was very good. It's American style Italian food and much heavier than any I had in Italy, but it was delicious and tasted like it was made with love. This is big comfort food and not something to go with your beachwear.

Very good Italian food and great hospitality. Ingredients are fresh and everything tastes homemade. Nice family style restaurant across from ocean. Not impressed with wine selection though. This food really needed better wine and that was offered.

Wonderful restaurant with superb food and service that treats you like family. I had the Portobello Ravioli that came with a Gorgonzola cream sauce that was absolutely delicious, and my girlfriend had their Chicken Picatta and said is was perfectly cooked and tasted great. We shared a cobnut cake for dessert that although didn't seem very Italian, it was still excellent. The restaurant is in a good central spot by the pier but don't expect views and you may need to hunt for a parking space as we did. Overall a very nice dining experience and I'll be back.

Nice quiet setting with good service and food. Our dishes were all tasty and portions plentiful. Gnocchi and sauces are good, raviolis tasted frozen, and doesn't look like any pasta is homemade.

Nice little place across from the pier. Had trouble parking so had to walk a way (father disabled). Waiter was friendly and helped with our order. Their Hot Antipasto was for two which consisted of some mixed shellfish and eggplant which we quite enjoyed. My Lobster Ravioli was good but thought the sauce needed a boost. Rest of family liked their meals but not really outstanding. Overall a good meal but we thing the flavors could be more bold and it was quite a pricey meal out.

Oh, where do I begin? I'd never been here before but my husband and I were riding our Harley and it started raining hard. We saw Romero's nearby so we ran in. They were the nicest people!! Elizabeth was our server and we couldn't ask for quicker or friendlier service. The food was AMAZING!! Food was all homemade right there and absolutely delicious! The prices are great, too. We ordered a pizza to share with 2 beers ( they also bring you homemade bread) and the bill was only $20 !! We have returned a few times since then and they are always consistent with great food and great service! It's also the best pizza I ever had!! AWESOME! Thank you!

Food was tasty and portions huge but a little too heavy for my preference, but my boyfriend had no problem consuming his LOL Would like to see some lighter dishes on the menu. Service was OK.

Good location opposite the pier and previously home to other Italian restaurants, but find this one the best. We've eaten in and got takeout and always enjoyed it. Their sauces are well made and taste great. We had their arancini (rice balls) on last visit and were the best we've had! All entrees are worth ordering although we've not had their pizza or sandwiches. Good family business worth supporting.

Pizza and panini both very good and the service friendly. Intimate atmosphere with good location just across from the pier. Would like to try some of their pasta dishes next time... they looked and smelled good.

Very nice casual Italian eatery that offers great food in a relaxing and unrushed atmosphere. Staff very welcoming and menu contains many tempting items and dishes. Everything tasted fresh and homemade and the flavors were very good. Portions generous and prices reasonable. Only complaint was the lack of vegan options... my vegan daughter had no choices and most modern restaurants today at least have a few choices for all dietary needs.

Very pleased food was excellent and staff was very friendly, from appetizers, dinner & desserts. You don't have to cross the bridge for good Italian food. Good family run business.
