We had their buffet during market day and thought it had a very good selection of dishes, plus breads, desserts and condiments. Everything was delicious and tasted freshly made. The biggest disappointment was the lack of service. Once we were seated and given water we never had any service after that and had to ask for everything. It was difficult even to figure out to pay! They have great food here but the service is very disorganized and not attentive, if they can work that out it will be an excellent restaurant.

Dinner here was nice... service was very good and attentive but the staff look so serious and need to smile more. Large menu and is overwhelming if you're not familiar with Indian food but is a haven for vegetarian diners like me... we ordered a few dishes to share and enjoyed all especially the Saag Paneer which is one of my favorite dishes... and the Veg Vindaloo was delicious... the only let down was the Pakoras which were too heavily greased and had no taste... the Gulab Jamon dessert was a very sweet indulgent end to the meal.

Visited for the buffet today and the food was really good... many very tasty items and everything was fresh. The Chicken Tika and Fish Vindaloo were very good and I even liked the lentil and veg dishes. It's good being able to sample so many dishes I wouldn't normally order. I would have given this visit 5 stars but I deducted 1 star for the really bad service... it was as if we didn't exist to them and never got anything that we didn't get ourselves. We found this strange because when we went at nights the service was top notch.

Not the best Indian food with some highs and lows. Server wasn't very helpful and didn't really listen and had to request things more than once. The mixed veg pakora appetizer was over fried and had little taste, but the mulligatawny soup was excellent. The tandoori had a good flavor but was too salty, and the rice was not good. My wife's chicken 65 biryani was a superb dish. I guess you have to learn what's good and what's not here. Service really needs to improve though.

Sad to see this restaurant going downhill. The buffet today was not very good. Went for Mother's Day and we were very disappointed. Service was almost non existent. Had to ask for everything! We were seated and given placemats and empty glasses and that was it. Everything else we had to go and get or ask for including water and silverware! Many of the buffet items needed replenishing and some never were during our stay. And we were not there late but mid way through! They put stickers all over the glass so you can see the items behind it, so many people made a huge mess and it was never cleaned. There were no cups for soups, etc, or for dessert and no spoons! Apart from our first water that we had to find someone to give us, our glasses were never refilled, and we were never offered any other type of drinks. I wanted a beer but that was impossible. They did clean the table of empty plates often, but when I asked that guy for stuff he just ignored me. The food itself tasted OK but not close to how good it used to be here. Overall a huge disappointment and we will sadly not return, and go to their Jax location for much better food and definitely better service.

Not the best Indian food I've had but still quite good. In fact, the original 5th Element in Jacksonville has much better food but the atmosphere is far better in Palm Coast, so I wish they could combine the two. I find the dishes are not consistent here so I guess it depends on who's cooking that day. Always had good service and the buffet on weekends is good value if you arrive hungry. Indian beer is very good and goes well if you ordered spicy.

Something has changed here! Although the food is still quite tasty it just doesn't taste the same as it used to. My usual dishes are different and I preferred how they used to be. Rice is terrible! Not how good Indian rice should be. The pakoras were greasy and rock hard. Also the service is much more business like and no longer as friendly. I miss my old 5th Element 😢

We visited during the Farmer's Market for their buffet today. It was quite busy and they needed more staff as it was very hard to get service when needed. There was also a long line to pay and I wish I could pay at the table like most places. The food had some very good dishes on the buffet and a couple of duds, especially a mixed veg dish where the cauliflower was so hard it was difficult to chew. They had an eggplant dish that was delicious and my favorite. Their rice is not good. No offer of drinks other than water, although they did have chai on the buffet, but I would have liked a beer. Overall a good feed for $15 but the service needs work and a couple of dishes shouldn't have been offered.

I think maybe our server was new as it took forever for him to take our order and enter in his handheld computer thing! It was only four items so he could have remembered those or written them down but another server finally helped him. All the staff were very pleasant though. The food was very tasty and very plentiful. We had a lot left over to take home. It would be nice if they packed it for us though instead of just leaving styrofoam containers on the table and walking away. We only had one fork left to do it with and it was messy.

Sorry to say that dinner last night was a bit of a flop! Service was good but the food really wasn't up to its usual standards. The pakoras just tasted of old grease, there was hardly any meat in the Chicken Biryani, and the rice was not like basmati, just some short grain rice, and portion sizes were much reduced. The guy on the table next to us was licking the spoons from the condiments and I'm sure they went to another table after he left. I hope this was just an off night, not a decline, as this was one of Palm Coast's best restaurants and definitely one of my favorites. I rated on last night's experience only.

First visit here that wasn't for the buffet and enjoyed their table service and the food was really delicious. So many items on the menu it was difficult to choose and I ended up ordering the Chicken 65 Biryani which was so good. The soup started was amazing as well and the dessert made from carrots was unique and a great end to the meal. The Indian beer was good and the big bottle lasted me throughout the evening. This was definitely the best meal I've had in Palm Coast.

I am here now for the buffet on market day and everything is spot on. The chicken biryani is my favorite dish but just had a little of everything and it is all so good. A big bottle of Indian beer went down with the food so well. Great service and outside has a good vibe with plenty of people around.

We were at the EV Farmer's Market today and stopped in here for the lunch buffet as it smelled so good. It was busy and we got the last table outside. The buffet was very well stocked and they replenished it constantly. Everything we got was delicious and hot and freshly made. The service is impeccable and you get a lot of food and choices for a very reasonable price. I really wish they had this buffet every day.

I just had a fantastic lunch from here today! I ordered a veg thali to go which is many dishes served in a tray with compartments and came with bread and a dessert. Every dish was soooo tasty with the butter paneer tikka being my favorite. I could just drink that sauce 😋 The dessert was like something I'd never had before and was like a soft pudding with nuts and raisins, and really helped clear the mouth after a spicy and flavorful meal. I will definitely be ordering this again. Staff are very gracious here and the thali price was very reasonable.

My only complaint is that the car park is along way and I wish they had some kind of curbside pickup in the back. It's not that I'm lazy but only have a very limited time for lunch and have to get back to my desk.

Highlight of visit: The Veg Thali is an excellent lunch with much variety,

The buffet on Christmas Eve was particularly good! Everything looked like it was freshly made and tasted so good. I can't get enough of their tandoori and tikka. Everything on that buffet is delicious and the desserts are very refreshing after a flavorful meal. All the staff pitched in and we were never without water or napkins, and our dirty plates were removed almost immediately. They also have heaters on the patio if you'd like to sit out there.

Their buffet is good value if you arrive with an appetite. You get lots of choices and everything is delicious, but I do wish they would make it a little spicier; this isn't Chucky Cheeses. Very attentive staff and a nice atmosphere especially in the courtyard.

Visited for lunch and sat inside due to the cold weather, which wasn't very inviting. There was no music and it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, it was like being in an empty shrine. Our server was all business and not too friendly, and I actually thought he was a customer when I first entered as he was just just dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, and didn't look anything like how their staff used to look. But the food was really delicious and the portions were big for lunch, so we had enough left over for dinner. My wife had a mango lassi which was awful! It tasted like it had been through the smoker and nothing like their lassis usually taste. Business like server was not impressed with her dislike for it LOL

I'm hoping they work on the service and bring back the young enthusiastic staff like they had before, and improve the dull atmosphere.

The inside dining room is quite nice but it's so much better if you get to sit outside. The service is very attentive and the food is VERY tasty! The biggest issue I always have here is deciding what to order as the menu has so many delicious sounding items on it. Their weekend buffet allows you to sample their dishes and have a variety. The Indian beers they serve are nice and light with flavor and the mango lassi really helps to cool your mouth if you ordered your food spicy.

Highlight of visit: If you're new to Indian food and it's not buffet time, order a Thali that offers a variety of small samples of their popular dishes. plus you get naan and a desert.

Sadly, 5th Element is not what it used to be. We have dined here so many times but noticed a decline over the past month, especially with staff attitudes, plus the food just doesn't taste as good as before. I understand many restaurants are cutting back and there's a general labor shortage, but that doesn't count for bad attitudes and recipe changes when spices are inexpensive. I'll continue to visit in the hopes that they're just going through some internal problems and they correct things.
