I will start by saying that I used to LOVE this place. I was a very frequent customer. Everytime we went, we spent between $60 and $150. We usually visited during lunch when the all you can eat is served. We have gone about 3 times during dinner and sat at the Hibachi tables. The food is good. Like others have said on here, the rolls are awesome, you just have to know which ones to order. Now the bad and the reason I will never go again. The wait staff is consantly changing. There was once a hispanic man that was AWESOME!!! He spoke english very well and was very nice. Other than that, our waiters have always been....blah.

It takes FOREVER to get your sushi rolls and the poor sushi chef is usually by himself. Even if there is a decent amount of people there. I feel like he is totally OVERWORKED. When you order, make sure to make your second order right away. If not, you will be waiting another 30 minutes to get your second round of rolls. And now the worst and only reason I will not return. The person sitting at the front, which I believe is the owner, is a real witch. Not professional at all. I noticed another reviewer on here also complains about her treatment towards employees. On my last visit there, I went with my 3 children and was waiting on my husband to arrive. In the meantime, I ordered for myself and my 3 kids. I noticed something going on between the owner and whom I believe to be her husband. They began arguing and she was over the top LOUD. It was more like yelling from the top of her lungs in Japanese. My kids began to get scared as they never have experienced such a scene. It was totally out of control. They proceeded to the kitchen where I can hear them hitting each other. My older son, who is 7, asked me who was getting spanked. I could hear things falling but remained calm. She then came out and grabbed her purse. I figured she was leaving but she returned to the kitchen. This is when I took my kids out of the booth paid and left. Not sure why she needed her purse but the idea of a gun in there crossed my mind. Most people I tell the story say they would have not paid. Especially, after an experiece like that. I will never go there again! This after I've probably spent over $900 there.

Had the worse experience ever there. Never received the food I ordered and someone else at the table got my shrimp. Then the manager Anna yelled at me and stated that I had to pay no matter what. WORSE steakhouse ever.

I like the atmosphere in here and visit often. Their all you can eat sushi is good value although it took a a few tries to know which roles to order or not. The hibachi side can be a lot of fun if you're with a good group and the food is always descent. Service is usually good but at lunch it can be scarce at times. I think it's hidden location hurts it but overall a nice place to visit.

4 of us visited Sakura steakhouse on 3-1-2012, we were seated quickly and out tabled filled up shortly after we arrived. The food was very good and we really enjoyed the show. It was a bit pricey.

I had a Thai dish in here and it wasn't too good and their all you can eat sushi for lunch had some rolls that were good and others were pretty bad. But their hibachi table was really good. our chef was a lot of fun and the food was excellent. I had the fillet and my wife had salmon. Both were tasty and their white sauce is amazing. Can't wait to go again.

We've eaten at Sakuras quite a few times mostly all in their hibachi area, which is always great. The last time we went we decided to sit in their regular dining room since it was only my wife and I. I had my usual filet which was as good as always and my wife tried a few special sushi rolls which she said were great, we were enjoying our quiet dinner until about halfway through and we heard yelling at the front by the cashier to one of the wait staff, this went on for about ten minutes. It was completely unprofessional and ruined our meal. We asked our waitress who was very nice but seemed uncomfortable by the situation. Next time we go back we'll sit in the hibachi.

This is a very nicely decorated restaurant with a warm and comfortable atmosphere with a touch of zen. We visited for lunch and were greeted immediately by friendly staff. We both had the sushi lunch deal which is all you can eat sushi for $12.95 but you can only order 3 rolls at time. They have a big selection of sushi and we ordered a variety of the lunch hour. Some of the rolls were very good, but some were absolutely horrible! I swear one was made with cat food! I guess the secret to this restaurant is knowing which ones are good and sticking with just those. Good value if you get the right rolls but they can take a while as they're made fresh so make sure you allow enough time.

I have only had the $12.99 all-you-can-eat sushi lunch special here, but it is AWESOME. The value is unbeatable for a sushi fanatic, the selection is good and the quality is fabulous, especially for the price. I'm concerned with how few people I see in there during lunchtime, which is why I'm posting this review--while I on the one hand I don't want the secret to get out so the place would be packed, I do NOT want this place close!

Their all you can eat sushi lunch special is awesome. You can order any 3 rolls from a selection of over 50 at any one time for just $12.99. All the rolls we had were very good and the variety was excellent. Server was limited with her English but was friendly and efficient. Not good for a quick lunch but of you have time this is an excellent local lunch option.

Very good value for lunch. I really like their sushi and their all you can eat specials are awesome! The hibatchi part is great as long as you get some good people at your table. We had a group full of bad language and table manners that ruined the experience. Food was very good though!

We decided to try the hibachi for my husband's birthday...it was terrific. I had the filet and scallops and my husband had the filet. Excellent food, well prepared and the service was great. Plus....$20.00 off the bill and a complimentary dessert. We went back for our anniversary in September and again everything was great. The chef was friendly and chatted with us, as did the waitress... and a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. We will continue to patronize this very fine Japanese restaurant!

This place has really gone down hill compared to when it first opened. I went the other night with my family and we had a party of 9. We sat at the hibachi table. The hostess was trying to be cheap and put all of us at one table that already had 2 people sitting at it. The tables are only made for 10. So they wanted 11 of us including 3 children in high chairs to sit at a 10 person table. We told them there was not enough room and requested a different table so that we had enough room and they had a HORRIBLE attitude. Instead of making us comfortable they wanted to make sure every seat plus one extra was filled so they wouldn't have to have a half empty table. The service was awful also. The serve spoke very little English and you had to ask him multiple times for the same thing because he would keep forgetting to bring it. Never again will I return here. The food was pretty nasty too.

This is a really nice restaurant inside and is tastefully decorated. We first went for the hibachi with a group of friends and had a blast. The food was awesome and the chef was very entertaining. However, we returned for lunch and ordered from their menu and it was not like the same restaurant. Service was very good, but I had a Thai curry dish that didn't compare to any other I've had elsewhere and my wife had a chicken cashew dish that had very little flavor. We'll be back for the hibachi but will pass on the rest.

We visited for their hibachi dinner and had an awesome time. The chef was funny and he cooked everything very well. Servers were really efficient and friendly. We returned for lunch a couple of days later and had a not so good experience. I had a Thai curry but it was not very good at all. It lacked any flavor and was watery. The server was not very friendly and not very efficient either. So I have awarded stars for an average of the experiences but basically I would visit again for the hibachi anytime, but for the other part of the restaurant, there are several better choices in Palm Coast.

For Palm Coast, this is a good restaurant and a really fun experience. The white sauce they use for dipping your meat is really tasty and you get a lot of food. You can't do the whole hibachi experience too many times before it gets old. A fun place for a special occasion though.

Ick! Not so good. The Thai has been ok to marginal in the past. The sushi not so good. Gave it a good long rest and tried the Chinese. OMG! This was nasty; sooo goopy and greasy. The server was aloof to rude and slovenly. Sometimes, I just think some local restaurants have low expectations and proceed accordingly. At any rate, the food at the departed Pronto Pizza next door was better. 2 stars because they have good fried rice... for a $3 up-charge.
