McHenry's Raw Bar PERMANENTLY CLOSED

McHenry's is in a nice location,the food is greaatoned not to mention the large portions. The service was great. Had a wonderful time with the fin fans of Palm Coast.

My burger was so awesome I will go back again and again just for that! Wish i could give them 10 stars!!

Love this place! They have the Dolphins fans club there and as a HUGE fan I found it is a great place for us to go and watch the game. Food was good and the beer cold.

I went there once and will not go back. The place has a cold feeling. Just like the other one in Flagler, smells horrible, and can't imagine trying to eat there.

Awful! Didn't have the advertised specials. Didn't have several items on the menu and when I asked for the manager I was told he wasn't there. A few minutes later a fellow walked by and I stopped him to ask if he was the manager. He said yes. I guess he likes to be protected from dealing with problems. When asked why the advertised specials were not available he said, "So what do you want, a free drink?" Before I could reply he turned and walked away.

The waitresses were very defensive. I'm guessing they had already been beaten up by displeased customers. If you are handicapped, don't even think about going here. Handicapped parking is in the underground garage and both elevators were out of service this day. There is no listing for what floor things are on and when you finally get the right floor, it is a long hike to the restaurant.

This was my first and last visit to this poor excuse for a restaurant.

Typical bar menu. Neither my boyfriend or I got what we asked for (we asked for simple things, no jalapenos, a certain sauce for his burger). In fact, when he ordered his burger, the waitress looked at him like he had four heads. Food wasn't awful, just not thrilled. We asked the waitress what kind of beer they had and she said "well...everything basically" but they didn't have the two kinds we asked for. The staff wasn't cute, and I think that is important in a place like that. The decor is headed in the right direction, just seemed like it needed work. The clientele is definitely not the type of people I would hang out with. That particular night there was a steel drum band playing outside, which, I would normally enjoy, except that it seemed that they brought their own family (and lawn furniture) with them and they seemed to take over the whole patio except for the few drunk middle-agers who were grinding on each other. It was really an uncomfortable scene, and kind of tacky. I don't plan on going back.

Weekly guest sense opening. Sampled most food items wings,oysters, shrimp and burgers all above average in quality and portion size. Service has been very good (nice job Sharon) with drink refills and clearing table of dirty dishes above average. Great visit tonight, see you next week.

I will say McHenrys has definetly straightened things out. My first visit was a disaster, cold food, bad service and awefull food. But this time they were right on the money. Large portions and incredible service. The bartender Michele is probably the best one I have had in Palm Coast. Great smile and very personable. My oysters and Burger were the best I have ever had. I will definitely refer all my friends. Keep up the great work McHenrys.

What a joke, staff was rude, bathroom in the middle of the dinning area. Went twice won't go back.
Had seven dead oysters in a bucket and was told to just throw them away you always get dead ones. Yeah right.

Not a good experience. We visited hoping for a nice meal but from the minute we walked in we felt like an inconvenience. I think the staff seemed more intent on bar customers and we were like a second thought. Food was just OK at the very best and definitely not something worth coming back for. This might be a good place to sit and have a drink but as a restaurant it fails miserably.

We have been going to McHenry's since their opening, have highly recommended this establishment to friends and visiting family - great food and friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately we were quite disappointed last night and although the food was good the atmosphere was not. The counter top on the bar was very dirty and we had to ask for a towel, cigarette butts all over the floor, dirty ashtrays on tables and bar. The staff seemed at odds with one another, when we inquired why smoking was allowed we were told it was because they do not serve much food - we have always observed many diners. We do hope this was an off night, not so sure we will dine inside anymore as it is distasteful to try and eat with lingering smoke - regardless of the amount of food served.

Overall very good great food except the fish fry did not like the batter everything else has been great have eaten there 10 plus times. Service good one day shaky the next , I think they will work that out do. Keep my beer MG 64 in stock and you'll see me on a regular basis.

Need lots of improvements. Owner seems ignorant... staff seem scared and unhappy. Place open but does not look done. Food is fair! He did not have enough mugs for the place, not even close being full either.

Had my son's birthday gathering there... what fun! The pool table was near us and had some very meaty wings. Fries were tasty, too! The place is coming together well but and we will be back.

This has been the place I have been looking for in Palm Coast. Huge Oysters, Burgers, Chicken Sandwich's Wings and Quesadillas. Nice prices. They seem to really aim to please. Great big screen HDMI TV's. Service was awesome at the bar. Servers seemed a little confused, but I am sure they will work things out. Nice casual atmosphere. The deck was also nice and will be a big hit this Spring!
