Service could be better. I do not think I have EVER had a better Burger. I got a happy face potato fry that was very good. The whole day I smiled.

Went to The Meeting Place for the second time and this time the service was horrible, asked for drinks and waitress saw one of her regulars come in and we were put in second place and she stopped to socialize with him and then decided to bring us the drinks. I ordered a Cheeseburger with Swiss cheese and I got a burger with Onions and mushrooms which was greasy and very messy. I told the waitress that I had ordered a regular cheeseburger and she tried to argue with me that no I had ordered a smoother burger my friend said no she ordered a regular cheeseburger, after 20 mins of waiting for our food of course. She then says to me if I wanted another burger and I said no never came by to see if we needed refills on our drinks. Very bad experience will never ever come back here again HORRIBLE

Breakfast is always good, we go about twice a week. Wendy always greets us with a smile, and very attentive service. The corned beef hash is made fresh by the chef Larry, always a nice visit to our table when he isn't busy. Ask him to make his Irish Eggs Benedict, TO DIE FOR!

I was not impressed at all. I had the crab cake sandwich and my boyfriend had a burger and neither were anything to write home about. The food wasn't BAD, but our bill was also $40, which I think is ridiculous for 2 sandwiches, and a draft beer and a well drink. Not any options for vegetarians, either.

We have been there a lot over the 5 years living here, but have been there 4 times in the last 6 weeks! Always had guests with us too! They have a special Sizzler Steak dinner that is tremendous. Soup or salad, potato, pasta, steak and endless fresh bread for $9.95! Super tender and tasty sirloin. Last time I had the Loaded Potato Soup! Unbelievable. All of were pleased each time. You got to try it! Great friendly service. Our only complaint is the cost of drinks, even during Happy Hour.

Went for breakfast with some friends. I was so delighted. I had the Greek Omelet and I believe it was the best I have ever tasted. The home fries was just like my Mother used to make and they gave you the choice of adding onions. My friend ordered the pancakes and they were about an inch thick and was told they tasted great. I would have given five stars, but service was a little slow due to, only having one person working the tables and register. As this secret gets out, most likely they will have to have additional people working.

Best find for breakfast. Yes, they now serve breakfast. Great omelets! Still the best "Burger in Town".

This used to be the best place for burgers..handmade and just wonderful. Something has changed..now they are pre-made and not nearly as tasty. We now drive to the Monterey Grille on Dunlawton, in Pt. Orange for the best burgers around. It seems like a long way to go, but we combine it with appointments, etc. Well worth it!

That was the best New York Strip Steak I have had in a very long time.

We revisited this recently renovated restaurant and were quite pleased. My shrimp scampi was very good, a little heavy on the salt, but still good. Service was excellent, but then there were only four other diners. The atmosphere is very pleasant. I like the idea that they split the tables outside for smokers and non smokers. I have recommended this restaurant to my mother and we will return. We appreciate not having to drive 30 minutes to find a decent place to eat.

I had written a rather negative review the last time I commented on this restaurant. I make no apologies for that because I had been going there for over 15 years when in the area and it had gone downhill. I must at this time say that this eatery is back on track. The food I had dining there 3 times within the week of 11/8-11/16 was each time excellent. My understanding is that the original owners son is now a part owner. I found the food and service to be back where it was when it 1st became a staple of the Palm Coast restaurant scene. Stay on track boys and you will return it to it's rightful place in local cuisine.

I hadn't been to The Meeting Place in a few years, and I know they have changed hands at least once, and maybe more, since then. But after eating there last night, I will definitely be frequenting it more in the future. I had the most delicious shrimp scampi dish, with mushrooms, penne pasta, and loads of garlic. The garlic bread was good, service excellent, and ambience very nice. Highly recommend this restaurant!

No ambience, salty food, marginal help and a porch full of abusive alkies. You gotta run the alike gauntlet to eat here. Get rid of the smoke belching drunks on the porch, do something about the plywood partition and clean it up and maybe, maybe I'll be back. Under the circumstances, the food quality is immaterial. Hopefully, the folks on the porch were walking home.

The Meeting Place has a Super Early Bird Special (until 5:30 PM) with a fantastic strip steak for $2 less than the regular menu. The steak is tender and I have ordered it 4 or 5 times and always have been happy....it comes with a small baked potato and salad. It is the best deal in town! I have also eaten the steak sandwich, which is also tender and not too big....I don't like/need huge portions. The new owners have redecorated and given this restaurant a more open and updated decor....so if you have not tried The Meeting Place recently, do go again. You will not be sorry!

I enjoyed a wonderful dinner in The Meeting Place a few weeks ago. My boyfriend and I loved it. Our server was amazing and so friendly. She was a little busy but she still had time to take great care of us. The food was the best I've had in this town. My boyfriend ordered a 12 oz New York Strip and it was cooked to perfection and I ordered the chicken and shrimp gorgonzola, which the waitress recommended. It was so good. The only thing that we didn't like was some of the food was a little overpriced. I enjoyed the experience though and we will be back.

We went for dinner on a Wednesday night. Two of us ordered the fried shrimp which was OK, my mom ordered the pork chops and she said they were good and juicy. The waitress did not provide very good service even though we were the only people in there. She spent her time talking to the other workers in the back. I ordered a Martini and the waitress did not know how to carry it and spilled 1/3 on the table. Overall the prices were too high for the quality, and the ambiance was even less
appealing. We will not be returning.
