Fisherman's Net looks just like any other beach side eatery. One expects the atmosphere to be casual, the food to consist almost exclusively of seafood, and the decor to be somewhat careless.

My company and I walked in and were seated right away. The decor was indeed somewhat careless in execution, though not in sentiment. Nautical motif was evident throughout, from nets, to glossy repros of fish on the walls. The place is a bit dark, in a rustic sort of way, almost as if it were intended as a hunting lodge for fishermen. There was no Jimmy Buffett on the stereo, or anything tropical about the decor, and that was refreshing.

We ordered a dozen raw oysters to start while perusing their rather extensive menu, which surprisingly, offered plenty of fishless fare. Our decisions were not going to be easy. Meanwhile, our waitress brought over the crab dip, compliments of the house. The dip was great, though my company was a bit put off by the individually wrapped crackers that came with it. Our platter of oysters arrived in a few short minutes, gloriously cold, and full of that fresh, yet pungent aroma of the sea. The oysters were, indeed, fresh, though a few of them were simply too large, and probably should not have been served. We finally placed our orders: Baked Chilean Bass from the specials menu for my company and a New York Strip Steak for me. The choices of sides extended beyond fries or chips, and some were downright creative. My company opted for sweet potato fries, and I got the rice pilaf, both options we are not accustomed to seeing in beach side casual spots. Another surprise was the option of a greek salad with dinner instead of the ubiquitous garden variety. As our salads appeared, I was glad I opted for the greek, as the garden looked just average: a heap of iceberg, a roma tomato and a few slices of cucumber. The greek salad, however, showed up sporting a nice selection of greens, olives and feta.

As for the entrees themselves, my company's bass more than made up for any shortcomings of her salad. The fish was heavenly. It was tender, and sweet and flaky, and the only complaint is that it disappeared all too fast. My steak was cooked as ordered, a perfect medium rare, and that, too, is a rarity in these mostly seafood places. Seasonings were right on, and the meal left us both utterly stuffed and satisfied. Throughout our dinner, the service was accommodating, yet not intrusive, and we felt neither rushed nor ignored. All in all, a very good experience.

My husband and I love to eat here. We are always greeted by a friendly hostess and service has always been great. Menu is very large, but prices are very reasonable. They have great crab legs!

My favorite restaurant in Flagler Beach. The lunch menu and Crazy Sundays are both great times to visit. I reccommend this reataurant to all my clients. Prices are fair, service is good and the decor is fantastic. Don't miss a visit to the Fisherman's Net.

Ate here yesterday. The food was really good and fresh. Service was slow and they were not busy. Got 4 out of 5 for slow service.

Started out nice and pleasant, went downhill from there as far as service. Food was pretty good, huge menu selection, decent prices. Service is what got this restaurant to 2 stars. Our waitress was not that great, somebody else actually brought our food, another girl picked up our table, another person brought the check. In other words, it was hard to find "our" waitress if we needed something. The one thing that really annoyed me was my drink was empty and wanted a refill. It took at least 10 minutes for our waitress to be close enough to us for me to ask her for a refill. When I finally did get the request in, I waited for another 10 minutes, and when she finally did get back to us, she just asked us how everything was without my drink. I was too angry to argue, so I just paid the bill and left.

My family of 7 plus a baby ate here on Father's Day Sunday. We were served by Jen, who was exceptional. The food was fantastic and plentiful, and the drinks were well-made. We ordered a whole slew of appetizers from their "Crazy Sunday" menu...great deals!

Best place in the area. Fish is the freshest at any restaurant. Doesn't smell fishy as some other places. They are busy, but that is the price you pay for having a good product. Some of wait staff could be trained better. Reasonably priced. All our out of town visitors are also very impressed. Keep up the good job.

Ate here twice last week...they get fish fresh 3x a week. We had two excellent meals at a price point that's hard to beat. Had a nice time in the bar with some local folks after dinner.

We took friends here a few weeks ago & it was excellent. We were seated immediately & the service was very good. I found that the food came out quickly & everything was cooked to order. Very happy & we would definitely return. I just wish it was on the ocean side.

We've been eating there for several years and just love it! We think the food is darn good and the prices quite reasonable. It's a local restaurant in Flagler Beach, for crying out loud, not some celebrity chef's place in Boca Raton! The Pier across the street is another story.

We first went to this restaurant after just moving to Palm Coast from New Jersey. It was recommended to us from our realtor. Well, I must tell you that after that first visit, it became our family's favorite. Their little "appetizer" (which comes at no cost when you are first seated) is a delicious beggining. Then their food is not only reasonable, but DELICIOUS. I have yet to pick something that wasn't great. They also cater to the kids. Needless to say, we are NEVER disappointed and if you choose to go there, we're sure you won't be either!

We have brought friends and relatives to this great restaurant...each time "never disappointed---service is excellent, food is wonderful..all managed with a very friendly staff!" We will always continue to remain "regular frequent customers!!!"

My husband and I ate here tonight, both ordering Early Bird salmon dinners ($8.50). The food was done to perfection. The alcoholic beverages were first rate.
We came back tonight after our visit last week with out of state visitors. All raved about the salmon dinner.
BUT, the service is way, way to slow.

A busy place overcrowed, overrated food and grease grease grease with all seafood fried fish combinations. Not worth the wait to be seated.
