Consistency is the biggest problem with this restaurant. Sometimes you get a great server and the food is very good and other times the server is terrible and food is awful. I wish we just knew what kind of day they're having when we go in LOL It's a shame as they have some good items on the menu that I know have been good but there is never a guarantee they will be next time. It's also getting pricey in there too..

We have eaten at Fishermen's Net a few times in the past couple of years, but this time was so outstanding that I had to write about it. We sat in a booth in the bar area and we ordered a bowl of clam chowder and buffalo shrimp as an appetizer. Good soup and the buffalo shrimp was out of this world. They were 10 large shrimp, that were spicy but had a sweet touch to them..excellent. For dinner, I ordered the Snapper Francais over rice and my husband had the Broiled Seafood Platter with linguine and coleslaw. First of all, they have the best homemade coleslaw we have every had! Second, my snapper dish was the best meal I have ever had in the Flagler/Daytona area. My husbands meal was good, but the shrimp were small and overdone. We can't wait to return!!

My wife and I ate there and loved it. We are from Ohio and have been to Florida every year (different locations) and this is a true seafood restaurant. They have red snapper that is to die for. My wife had the fried shrimp and loved it along with the smoked crab dip. We are returning tonight with our 4 boys. A+ in my book, people were friendly, my wife actually hugged the owner lol, she's a goof, we just loved it!

Go early if you don't want to wait for a seat. Early bird specials are an okay deal. The Greek salad is good -- the house dressing is fresh and tasty. Our waitress was bright, pleasant and knowledgeable and did great with our large group (16). My dungeness crab was not fresh and the flavor was not good. My husband's fried seafood platter was so over-cooked that he was unable to eat it. Thank goodness for the complimentary crab dip and the baked potato! I think others in our party were fairly satisfied with their meals. At least they ate most everything! This restaurant was not bad but I think there are others in the area that do a better job with the food. I would tell my friends that this place is okay but not really worth a long wait for a table.

I live in Pittsburgh Pa. and while visiting my mom in Flagler stopped by the Fisherman's Net. The waiter seated us quickly and when asking for a recommendation he suggested the Chilean Sea Bass. It was the best fish dinner I've ever eaten. Ever!

This place used to be good, but they've really gone down. My husband and sister-in-law both ordered the clam bellies -- her plate was chock full, while his had only a few. My fried platter was over-cooked. My in-laws gave it another chance after that and reported that it had gotten worse. The menu prices had doubled and the food was even more substandard. Also, the waitress tried to sit them in a poorly-lit section in the back, and copped an attitude when they asked to be moved. We're done with Fisherman's Net.

The seafood is the benchmark of a seafood restaurant as I see it. The seafood was just not fresh. I don't think more needs to be said except before you eat, go check out the seafood market in the rear of the the restaurant, you can also see into the kitchen from there. We did so after we dined. We should have checked it out before we dined. We had lunch, maybe dinner is better?

Greatly improved since my first visit a couple of years ago. Nice menu selection with some creative sounding dishes. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it was awesome! Husband had a shrimp dish that he loved. It is a little on the pricey side though.

Best seafood bargain within miles. Everything is fresh (they have their own seafood market attached) and very well prepared. If you don't see what you want on the extensive menu or their very large daily special menu, they will make it for you if they possibly can. Great staff and owners and a good full bar with well made drinks. The Early Birds (til 6:00) is good and CHEAP! If you like Greek Salad it's an option with the meal and is done very nicely.

Wife and I ate here last Friday for the first time and we found it to be much better than expected. They have a big menu selection and I had a Platter and my wife had a scallops dish. Both were great and tasted good without being too greasy. Service was kind of slow especially with drinks. Overall we really liked it and will go back.

We took out of town company to Fisherman's Net this past weekend. My Father in law said the sea bass was the best he had ever eaten. The Calamari was to die for and most of the other food was great. Service was slow but in his defense they were very busy. Ocean view is always perfect. This is one of our favorite Flagler restaurants.

Tonight I went to this restaurant with my sister Donna. I had the Chilean Sea Bass, grilled without the crusted topping. It was delectable!! Just amazing...the best grilled fish I ever ate. I let my sister try mine and she said it was delicious. She ordered the grilled Salmon and commented how good it was, and she let me try hers and I agreed wholeheartedly. Our waitress was knowledgeable and very nice. We will be visiting here again, and again, and again.

We visited the Fisherman's Net on January 27 and had excellent meals. The Captain's Platter had the best fresh fish and was very well prepared. Service was prompt and our waitress very personable. Great seafood for a reasonable price. Can't wait to visit FL again and make a stop at the Fisherman's Net.

My family visited the Fisherman's Net 1/5/2010, we ordered the "Fish Fry Special" it was plenty to eat and at a great price. We ordered the Crab Dip as an appetizer it is the best I have ever eaten. We also visited this resaurant back in 9-2009 and loved it. We have been happy with both of our visits and we will return.

I dined at the Fisherman's Net for my first time on Sunday and the food was delicious, yet very inexpensive. I had the Captain's Platter and was very pleased with my meal.. Everything tasted so fresh that I decided to stop at their market on the way out the back door to take home some fresh fish. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I enjoyed everything and will be back soon.

Since I last wrote in 2004, The Fisherman's Net is our first and only choice Seafood Restaurant here in Palm Coast and Flagler Beach. We're still bringing friends and relatives, who have all agreed: the food is excellent, along with an awesome staff! Whenever we're in the mood for a great dinner, we already know we're heading to The Fisherman's!

Went to Fisherman's net tonight with my wife. I ordered the Seafood Stir Fry and it was inedible. A complete load of sloppy wet food in a plate of water. I asked for rice and checked it was pilaf. The plate was piled up with wet rice still in water on the bottom, some steamed squash, broccoli and zucchini also wet and sloppy, and cold fish on the top. It was disgusting! I was asked if I would like something else, no thank you. My wife picked at hers as she was now eating on her own and left 80%. When the check arrived 50% was deducted from my meal "as I had not eaten much". A total $29.85 paid to the penny no drinks Never again. We will never return and would advise anyone else to think very carefully before going there.

I have visited Fisherman Net many times and have walked out of there because of lack of service. I believe the waitresses believe we owe them a living and be subdue to their rudeness and lack of service.

New neighbors moved in next door so we decided to go out to dinner . my husband and I thought of this restaurant because of the view of the water, well everyone was disappointed. We waited to long for someone to take our drink order, the waitress was nice, but very aloof. when the food came the shrimp dish was not cooked all the way though, I sent it back with little improvement. the one thing I should say is they took 1/2 of the dinner on 2 of the meals. we really did like to eat there , but as the previous writer said, it has gone down hill.
