Sandy's Seafood and Steak PERMANENTLY CLOSED

Went there with a large group. Our waiter got our drinks fast and our orders quickly. It seemed like no time when the food was brought out. There was so much food on our plates, and it all cost even less then I had expected. We were all full, so there was no room for deserts, but our waiter named off the list of deserts and they sounded great. The service was terrific and so was the food.

My Wife and I both got the 10oz Rib Eye and both meals were very good. Service was great, prices were very good, drinks were also very good.

They could dim the lights and decorate it more. I believe they have a good thing going and with a few tweaks it will even get better.

This place is more like a diner more then a restaurant. I ordered the 10oz ribeye. it was all gristle and fatty. Not even sure if it was beef, I do know it was BAD. My wife got the shrimp and she said it was OK. the place smells like fish when you walk through the door. The highlights are the good prices and the service was great. The waitress we had was on top of everything. It is too bad the food is not so good because the service is great. The place looked clean. To the owner, Fire your chefs, Buy better cuts of meat and decorate the place. also dim the lighting will make it fell more like a restaurant. Good Luck.

I went the other day and I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. Decided to try the bar area and watch some football. Drinks were priced very reasonable and food was tasty. The service was good and they go out of the way to make you feel comfortable which is a good sign. I will be back.

This place is the best restaurant in Palm Coast. Way better than Golden Corral. Good prices, delicious food, and wonderful workers. They were very nice and gave us amazing service. We will definitely be back!

Overall for a new place it was good. Rib Eye was great, tried my girlfriends Hamburger it was like a soy burger very not so good. Will return, very nice people. Need more desserts, I had to (choose to) take girlfriend out for coffee and dessert at another restaurant.

All of the food was very good. The fried items had a nice light crispy coating (scallops, onion rings) and the french fries were also very good. The clam chowders, both red and white, had lots of clams and were seasoned just right. Looking forward to trying more menu items. There were plenty of service people at lunch. They did a nice job of refinishing the interior -- lots of space between tables, they made the dark area lighter and the area under the skylights darker, which it needed. Seafood can be pricey but I thought the portions and quality were very fair.

We stopped in the bar area last night after Christmas shopping to have a few drinks and some appetizers. The crab bites were delicious, the peel and eat shrimp were huge, the bartender was friendly and the drink prices were priced reasonably for Palm Coast. I will be back to try them out for dinner.

Arrived on Friday 12/17/10... Opening night!! Everyone worked hard to make sure our meal was good.The food was delicious. The only issue with our visit was a computer glitch the kitchen was trying to resolve. It took sometime for guests to get what they ordered and unfortunately some walked out. HOWEVER !!!!! We were aware it WAS OPENING NIGHT and were prepared to wait if need be. Wish that everyone there that first night would please give it another try before making bad reviews. You can believe I WILL be back and hope only the very best for this new restaurant.

I had the ribeye surf and turf. The steak had an excellent flavor. Charbroiled and tender which is hard to find. Shrimp where delicious. Plenty of food.

We were hoping for a great seafood dinner. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Salad was OK. Fried shrimp had no flavor and the breading was tasteless, broccoli was not fresh. Baked potato OK. Husband had seafood platter with clams, scallops, shrimp, oysters, crab cake, and mahi. None of it tasted fresh. Hush puppies also flavorless. Servers tried hard to make sure we were happy, but we will not be back as the quality of the food was lacking.
