Review of Rise at the Island by TT from Flagler Beach
Went here last week for breakfast. showed up a couple of mins after 8 am. They were not open yet. We could here people moving around and talking though. We kept saying hello and no one was answering. We finally just walked in and around the big barn door to find someone working. this was at 8:15am and they still had not open the barn door. We had to ask for the drink specials as we were not told. We had to ask for the food specials. The waitress was not sure about the menu so could not give more to offer on the food choices. One of the dishes was great and the other not so good. the presentation was excellent and atmosphere was great. I think they need to stay open a little longer to get kinks out before we return and offer more on the menu for non meat, fish pallets.

Do not miss dining at this restaurant, you’ll regret it. It’s phenomenal. Every single bite. Gorgeous views and excellent service.
Highlight of visit: The buttermilk chicken is so mind blowing and delicious.

I was confused at first but it seems like Rise shares this restaurant with 386 but maybe the same people, so why one can't open for breakfast to dinner is not clear. But the space is the same with great views and an old Florida vibe in a historic building. I went with the ubiquitous Eggs Benedict which was quite impressive with good ham and sauce. I look forward to trying more at both Rise on The Island and at the 386,

The fish and grits were very good and wife's Southern style benedict looked amazing. Service could be better. Great atmosphere and view.
