I think when I visited I disturbed the staff from their social meeting as they seemed very bothered to have to leave their table and television to wait on me. Cake and rolls weren't bad but don't like being made to feel an inconvenience by staff.

The best bread in palm coast.Reasonable prices. The bread is always fresh, the coffee delicious. The owner is like being with your mother.Portuguese is the main language spoken there.Incredibly clean. But the bread,to die for.Try the chirico sandwich.Yum!!

I went here a few weeks ago to support a local business. When I entered the shop the TV was so loud I the woman behind the counter had to shout her private conversation into the phone. This didn't stop her from ignoring me for 5 minutes while she continued it. Then two women were checking out and she served them first as well. I asked for descriptions of the pastries because I was unfamiliar with them. It was too much trouble for her to shout the answers to me over the TV, so everything was described "pastry with custard". There were no descriptions or names on anything. Maybe it is my taste, but everything I purchased was unpleasant to me.
They must have a very large Portuguese contingent to support them, because if you are not Portuguese and don't understand the language you get treated very rudely.
