This is a nice little restaurant. I don't like the European Village and try to avoid it whenever possible, but once inside Red Sphere you feel someplace else. Their sushi selection is creative and everything we had tasted wonderful. Service was good and like most sushi places, it's a little pricey. I recommend for a change from other Palm Coast options.

I went to Red Sphere's old location a few times and when I returned from the summer noticed it had gone from there so I assumed it had closed. But found it on Flagleronline and went last weekend. The new location is much smaller but it feels nice in there and still has the chic atmosphere about it. Service was excellent and the food as great as ever. So much to chose from I never what to have. Will be back for more.

Not quite as grand as it used to be in Roma Court but it's a lot more intimate here. The atmosphere was nice and chic and service friendly. We had a few rolls and they were all good. Like most fresh sushi places, prices are a little expensive but overall we felt we got good value. Would of liked to try to some of their other menu items, so maybe next time.

This is the best restaurant in Palm Coast. The service is excellent. They remembered us after our first trip there. Our water glasses are always full and they go out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food is amazing. Everything that I have eaten there is beyond delicious and made of the freshest ingredients. Go there. Bring friends. This is a place that should be shared with everyone and shared frequently.

We were seated and brought our drinks quickly, but it was probably 15 minutes before our waitress came back to take our appetizer and entree orders. We ordered soup, two squid salads and edamame. The soup and a single squid salad came out first. The waitress told us that they only had one squid salad left and we should "just share it". My edamame was still waiting to be cooked by the time everyone else was done with their appetizers. Other than that, the entrees came out on time and all together at once. I had garlic soba shrimp which was good but all in all, it wasn't anything special.

It seems like a lot of effort and expense is put into the decor and construction of this restaurant, but it's still very small and it doesn't improve the food. I wish Palm Coast had a real sushi bar and was hoping this was it, but they don't have liquor and it's not what I was hoping for. None the less the food was good and service efficient. Prices are a little high but that's typical of Japanese restaurants.

I drove w/ several friends from Orlando to Palm Coast to experience this wonderful restaurant. We were all greeted at the door w/ warm smiles and prompt attention. The entire staff was so attentive... but not overbearing. The sushi was the best I've ever had (I've had sushi from places all over the East Coast). Some of my friends enjoyed the hibachi and raved about how good that was as well. The dessert was to die for ;o) We had green tea ice cream and fried cheese cake. We also enjoyed some delicious saki. I recommend this restaurant to all who love sushi & hibachi. Enjoy!

I like the vibe in here. It's like some kind of urban industrial Asian zen thing set in a European Village, but it seems to work! Food is good with a broad selection of items including some unique creations. Prices are a little steep but as are most sushi restaurants. Check it out!

My wife and I checked this place out and it was good. The atmosphere is very cool and "hip" and the staff were all friendly. We ordered quite a selection of sushi and most were good, but we didn't think too much of a couple of the rolls. But overall we liked it and will try some other sushi next time.

We, the three of us, had occasion on 4/23/10 to visit and were not at all pleased with the service and not entirely happy with the food or its presentation. Let me start off by saying the quality of most of what was presented was average, the Uni was starting to change color and not the great orange/gold color I've come to expect in fresh Uni.

The wide open unadorned plate the sushi was offered on lacked interest it was simply sushi on a plate.

The variety of what was offered was limited. Most of the rolls were with fake crab and the soft shell crab was not offered in a roll. Too much, to my taste, was offered with cream cheese and I realize they have to appeal to the American taste via the California thinking.

Offering some more traditional items might put them ahead of all the other sushi establishments in the area, four in Palm Coast and at least three in St Augustine.

Most of all I have issue with the service, not the serving staff, waiters, runners or bus help but the kitchen. When we were there the kitchen itself did not seem extremely busy, given the food being served at the 8 tables that were occupied. But our sushi, came from the kitchen came long after two of us had consumed around $80.00 worth of sushi. It came at a point when my wife, who does not eat sushi and had to sit while we dined, was ready to send it back, but hunger overcame her and she ate alone while we now watched her.

Not good customer service at all.

I believe Red Sphere has the best sushi for 50 miles. Don't bother going to Daytona for that sub-par sushi. This place has innovative dishes as well as delicious sushi. The owners are on staff and truly care about their customers and the quality of the food being presented. The fact that they built all the furniture themselves is amazing. Their attention to detail is impeccable. We love all the different kinds of Sake too. The Tuna Tataki is yummy. Our only suggestion is to bring back the Udon noodle soup! We will see you at your new location this week!

We loved Red Sphere at their first location on West PC pkwy. Although, their new location in European Village is smaller. It still has the same elegant atmosphere, service, and the food was great. Still family owned by 2 brothers, and 2 sisters, who work the floor, are friendly, provide education on their food selections, and were more attentive then any other restaurant in PC. And they were busy, YES!!!. We hope they continue to get more traffic then they were getting on the west side of town. They are very good, and deserve success.
