Pasta Pasta used to be my favorite restaurant. We visited this week and I was disappointed. My husband and I both ordered Marsala dishes, the "Marsala" sauce was like a gravy with tomato in it, no hint of Marsala. Also, salads are no longer included with your meal. I would rather they raised the price and included the salad. I also find the man at the door to be very annoying. First thing he said is "did you call ahead?" When we walked in 75% of the tables were empty, why ask? While we were eating, one of the employees said something to one of the servers which she did not like, she was ranting about what he said, everyone could hear it. Not a pleasant visit! It will be a long time before we go back.

This was a relatively good experience. We entered and it was quiet and were seated right away. Staff very courteous and friendly. The restaurant was comfortable and attractive. The menu included most typical Italian dishes plus a few house dishes. I had a chicken dish with a red pepper sauce which was good. Chicken was cooked nicely and sauce had good flavor. Bread was good. A little on the pricey side. I keep searching the area for some inspiring food and it's not here. But it is good standard Italian style none the less.

Very nice Pasta Norma. Bread service is terrific. Good atmosphere for Palm Coast. While I don't mind paying the extra $2 for a side salad, it may deter some patrons in this area from returning. Still, a good bargain!

My wife and I visited here for my birthday and we had a great meal. Service was good and the bread was really good. Food was good but could of been a little warmer and we thought it was pricey compared to the portion size. But flavors were great and visit again for a special occasion.

I truly like this restaurant. The gentleman at the door has always been pleasant when we are there. We have gone there at least 6 times since they opened. I would have given Pasta Pasta five stars except that the portions have gotten smaller and when we were there with friends, the entree was certainly not enough for our friend who is a big guy. When he mentioned it, there was not explanation except that he ordered the special??? Anyway, I will keep going to Pasta Pasta as I like it and I don't eat that much.

I am from Long Island NY and was referred to Pasta Pasta by an Italian restaurant up there. I have to be honest when I say that in the last 7 years that I have been in Florida I have not come across better Italian food. In all the years I have spent in Long Island I am truly impressed that they are able to surpass the quality of 99% of the places I have eaten. They nailed it on the head! Florida isn't known for good food... Pasta Pasta is easily one of the best, authentic Italian restaurants in the state! Keep it up!

Had a great meal here with my wife last weekend. We did notice the portions seemed to of become smaller, but I guess in this economy it's either that or the prices going up. But the food was excellent and service very good. Nice selection of entrees and look forward to trying more.

As all the reviews you read, yes, inconsistency is in the reviews and that is how this restaurant should be rated. One day it's good and the next time you go its awful. It's up to you to roll the dice every time you go.

Had lunch yesterday to celebrate friend's birthday. Food was excellent! Portion was extremely generous for lunch. Started with their salad and homemade Italian dressing. Was great. Even bought some dressing to take home. Had Penne a la vodka. Best I have ever tried and I am a picky Italian eater. Friend had Veal Francese and loved it. Delicious home made garlic knots too. The service was great. Waiter was so accommodating and friendly. He even brought us a delicious Tiramisu desert to celebrate my friend's birthday. I would absolutely go back for dinner. Have been there before and loved it each time.

How can any of you seriously enjoy this restaurant? The gentleman at the door is terrible, he is very rude and is not afraid to show it. I had the lasagna, and trust me...Stouffers frozen does a better job. The sauce was watery and the pasta itself was bland, no flavor, just a giant portion of nothingness covered with water sauce and cheese. The "chef" was a big fella and asked how it was, when I said it wasn't good he became defensive like I didn't know what I was talking about. Overall, this place is overpriced for food that isn't impressive and a staff that is straight out of a cliche mobster movie. I will never return and tell people to avoid.

My friend took me to Pasta Pasta this evening to celebrate my 30th birthday and we couldn't have had a better experience anywhere. From the moment we sat down, we had impeccable service, AMAZING food (bread, pasta, dessert, cappuccino!) and a cozy atmosphere. We were greeted with big smiles by the owner at the door, our awesome server, and the chef who came to chat with us after we ate. I hadn't been to Pasta Pasta in several months -- I forgot how wonderful it is! (It is, BY FAR, the best Penne Ala Vodka I have ever had!)

Regarding the "old man" at the door, someone must have sent him to charm school. He definitely has changed his attitude. He was so accommodating this time. We had been there previously and decided, the food is good, we like ANDY, but, the "old man" was a turnoff to wanting to go there again. Decided to give it one more chance. GLAD we did.

The food at this restaurant was very good, service was excellent, prices were in line with the food quality. The only exception is the dessert; I feel that $6 per slice is a bit much for plain cheesecake. Would definitely eat here again!

Called Pasta Pasta last Monday night to see if they were open for dinner since it was a Monday night and many restaurants are closed that day. The gentleman that answered was extremely polite and when I asked if they were still open to serve dinner since it was nearly 8 pm, his reply was that we usually close between 8-8:30 but will stay open for us. We arrived within 15 minutes, and was greeted warmly. Service was very good, the food was delicious and we were not rushed at all. This was our 1st time at the new location but had dined at the old location last year when we were down to visit family. Once we relocate permanently to PC, Pasta Pasta will definitely be one of our regular places to dine at!

Not fantastic Italian food but it is very good. They clearly take pride in providing good service and delivering good quality food. Their menu has many tempting selections and everything I've had from it so far has been tasty. Although I have noticed that their portion sizes seem to of gotten smaller and their prices have gone up lately! Tiramisu also lacked alcohol such as marsala, brandy or sherry to be authentic! Overall though, we never leave Pasta Pasta unsatisfied.

I absolutely love Pasta Pasta! No matter what you order, it's always delicious!! The staff is always friendly and pleasant and go out of their way to make your dining experience the best it can be. I look forward to the chef coming out of the kitchen to say Hi and ask if everything was delicious - like it could be anything else! He's always a delight.

I look for excuses to drive from Orlando to Palm Coast so that I can enjoy dinner at Pasta Pasta! We love you guys. Keep up the great work. And we'll see you soon for dinner!

We went to Pasta Pasta the other night for a dinner. Halfway through our dinner, the chef came by the table to say hello. Wow, a quick stop by the table became a 20 minute lecture on how to do business right. I know all about his previous businesses and another friend's business in Texas. All I wanted was to eat my dinner. Of course, when someone is standing there talking - it is hard to eat. As he was talking - I looked down and it was then I noticed my sauce starting to separate and realized it was mostly butter and really wasn't that great of a dish. He finished talking and the server came over and asked if I wanted a to go box since I didn't finish my meal. I didn't.

My husband and I ate there today for the first time. The food was delicious and was way too much for me. The garlic knots were also great and as for the host, he was both polite and friendly. We will go back.
