After hearing good things about this restaurant I finally had a chance to try it for myself. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed! I visited for a weekday lunch and found their menu limited and expensive. There was a selection of only a few entrees and no sandwiches or typical lunch items. The cheapest lunch entree was $9.00! I had the Chicken Bits which were exactly that, small pieces of chicken served with onions, veggies, rice and beans. The chicken was very salty with little flavor and extremely tough, dry and over cooked. The veggies (broccoli and carrots) were cold and almost raw. However the rice and beans were very good. Service was friendly but slow even though there was only one other table occupied. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated with a large screen TV showing a DVD of Brazil on one wall which was muffled by the sound of other TV's with the news running. It appears many others like Pure Brazil but it's definitely not for me and one of my most disappointing dining experiences in Palm Coast.

Visited Pure Brazil on 1/27/09 for lunch with my wife and mother-in-law. First time visit and we were welcomed to a very pleasant surprise and a superb lunch. I had a sandwich, don't remember the name, but it was #14 on the menu. my wife had an appetizer of steak and mushrooms and Mom had a hamburger. The food was excellent tender, tasty and served hot. I had a cold, cold beer served in the tall beer glass, not in the bottle as is served in so many other establishments. Then came desert and we had Flan. Excellent, excellent, excellent. Espresso to follow and it too was very, very good. We met Tony, the owner and his wife and they were very friendly and cordial which made our visit very pleasant. As we were leaving we encountered very dear friends who were first trying this restaurant. A call to them afterwards revealed that they found Pure Brazil an excellent restaurant as well. They would know if the food was authentic as their daughter-in-law is Brazilian. We strongly recommend this restaurant. Small, intimate with very friendly owners. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

As a resident of E section in Palm Coast, we look for places closer to us for a good dinner time. With the weather as cold as it is we went out to Pure Brazil Cafe.... what a wonderful time...Friendly people, tasty food....Shrimp over linguini, Brazilian steak with rice and beans, mussels with tomato sauce....humm... A place to go every time....a variety of tasty food to pick from...The place itself makes you feel at home.

It's no coincidence that this restaurant review has nothing but 5 stars! The owners are extraordinarily friendly and the food is amazing! If you're a garlic lover (who isn't) then this is right up your alley! I've never met such friendly owners in ALL of Palm Coast.

What a great find in Palm Coast! The food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere superb and the owner and his wife delightful people. They couldn't have done more to make our experience there any better. I have lunch out 7 days a week and I have to tell you this will be a regular place of mine now.

Today was our fifth visit to Pure Brazil Cafe and Restaurant. Each time we tried different dishes from the menu and/or following the suggestion of Chef Tony Madalena. But the result is the same: the food is excellent, the service is unbelievable, the atmosphere is awesome. They sell wine and other beverage. And they have live music. The price are reasonable. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves. We highly recommend the Pure Brazil Cafe and Restaurant.

The restaurant is very cozy, the owners are very nice people. I tried the Brazilian traditional feijoada, it's better than you expect. Watching the videos of Brazil makes me want to go visit, the music is calm and just flows in with it all. I will defiantly return!

Pure Brazil Cafe & Restaurant is a great place to go for a magnificent and affordable meal. I am a great friend of the chef's daughter, and I go to the cafe & restaurant all the time. My all time favorite is the Chicken Bits. They are DELICIOUS!

The family really know how to keep the customers entertained with the Brazilian videos, and music. They make you feel right at home! And its also very cleansed and organized to perfection! I recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Good sized portions, with a good affordable price. The meals are very good, and it was a very pleasant experience sitting in, eating Brazilian food, and watching Rio de Janeiro and the beautiful Brazilian beaches on the TV. I went last Saturday and tried for the first time the Brazilian Feijoada, and it was magnificent. I am sure to return every Saturday now!

Quality, quantity and friendly, attentive service at a reasonable ( not cheap ) price. The tropical salad was excellent and easily enough for two people - only $ 3.00. The owners seem to really care - I hope this doesn't change as business grows. I'll be back.

We tried Pure Brazil Cafe last night. While not all the meal choices were true Brazilian recipes, the food was very very delicious! My husband had the Brazilian cut sirloin and said it was very good. Cooked med rare, perfectly like requested. Claimed it was better than anyone at Outback. I had the salmon with the tomato sauce, it was exceptionally good!

They are family owned and run and seem to have plans for more ideas in the future. The husband/chef came out to the table several times to check on our meal.

They have some specials they offer on Fridays and Saturday nights that sound intriguing. I am sure we will return!
