One of the beast restaurants in Flagler Beach! Not just fried food like everywhere else. The food is fresh, seafood is great! I had the wasabi crusted salmon, it was excellent and not at all too spicy, the rice and veggies it came with were very flavorful, not bland at all. The crabcake sandwich is also delicious! Lunch is very reasonably priced for the quality and portions you get! And the waitresses I've had are always super attentive and wonderful. Check it out!

I wish Blue would open in Palm Coast! Among the best choices for dining in Flagler County with a great menu where everything I've had has been cooked perfectly. Not too keen on the resign chairs but the view can't be beat. Prices are a little high so can't afford to go too often but it's well worth the money. Order the scallops! They're awesome!

This is my all time favorite restaurant. I do admit it is a tad bit pricey but believe me it is worth it. They have the most amazing hummus appetizer, and their salmon dish was to die for. Very relaxing. Service was excellent. Planning to go there tonight for my anniversary. Can't wait!

New resident in the area. Have only been to the Blue at happy hour (although, they don't observe it). Only had 2 glasses of wine and split an appetizer (at the bar). Kind of pricey. Will confirm the service the few times we have been there at 4:30 left a little to be desired. Don't get it, no one there really and yet the staff stands around. Service every time has been slow. Does Make me wonder what dinner service might be like, especially after reading these other reviews. To be fair, have noticed the other restaurants in the area on the beach have poor service too, and, again, not at prime dining time. Too bad.... sounds like it will discourage business in my new home town or chalk it up to beach dining.

My daughter and her friend took me for lunch for my birthday the other day. The baked oysters with wasabi were delicious and the scallop salad was a favorite, yummy. It seemed that everyone at the restaurant was ordering it that day. The atmosphere outside with a view of the ocean was lovely. I would highly recommend going for lunch. I've also been there for dinner before. Hats off to their terrific chef.

Had dinner here over the weekend and had a great experience. It was BF's birthday and he had the filet and I had a scallops dish. Both were cooked perfectly and we loved every bite. It was raining so the view wasn't it best but everything else was perfect. Thanks for a wonderful meal.

Visited Blue for lunch and it was excellent. I had the Portobello Sandwich which was awesome and they have the best french fries I've had in a long time! Partner had Fish Tacos and loved those too. Only complaint is that it was a little uncomfortable.

Blue. Sophisticated or Overrated? We will give this one a thumbs down. As you walk up the path of a old run down motel, you fall upon a restaurant similar in appearance. The first thing we noticed were two servers standing outside smoking. Walking past the haze of lingering cigarette smoke, you approach a glass door that you can barely see through due to the infinite amount of smudge marks on it. As soon as we get inside there was a cook and two servers just sitting at the bar. Seeing what the cook looked like as far as his attire and cleanliness, I could tell dinner was going to be a wreck. Once we were sat, we spent a good 10 minutes waiting for our drinks to just be ordered. Keep in mind, there were maybe 5 tables of people eating. So it wasn't very busy. The menu was another story. The prices for the entrees ranged between 14-25 dollars, not very cheap. The menu was very unorganized and had no actual theme to it. For appetizers we had (French) Escargot, and (Chinese) Pork dumplings. The pork dumplings tasted frozen, but the escargot was good. For entrees we got the roasted duck the spinach mushroom ravioli. The ravioli's were overcooked and very bland. The duck was dry and again, tasted frozen. But I guess when your blasting heavy metal music in the kitchen that could be heard very clearly from the dining room, you cant utilize your skills to the full. Overall we spent about $85 dollars for the three of us. Definitely not worth the money.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Blue. We were on vacation last month, staying at the Topaz for a week. We made plans to eat at Blue on our last night, and it was certainly worth the wait. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. The view of the ocean from our table on the patio was amazing. Our meal was wonderful--my only complaint would be that I couldn't eat it all--the portions are quite generous! We will dine at Blue again the next time we are in the area!

By far the best restaurant in the area! The service is always excellent and the food is fabulous. It doesn't get any better than a great meal, a glass of wine, with an ocean breeze and the waves in view. Even when the weather is bad, they pull down screens so you can still eat on the patio overlooking the ocean.

Although it took a little while to be acknowledged when we first came in the door, the service became wonderful. My husband and I both started with the bisque and it was amazing. Coming from up north, I am a bit of a seafood snob but this lobster bisque gives any New England bisque a run. From there is was Wasabi Horseradish Honey Crusted Salmon and I could just feel it melting in my mouth. The prices for this kind of dining experience are so reasonable. This is going to have to be a regular visit for my honey and me.

I've heard so many good things about Blue, but it certainly didn't live up to its reputation. First, there's no sign where to enter. We walked up the ramp because we saw people eating outside, and others were walking out that way. The steps, it appeared, led to the hotel. Four of us walked up. Three servers looked at us, and not one said anything.

Second, the service was extremely slow. Two tables came after us, and had their bill before us. It took a long time to get water, take our orders, serve the food, and give us the bill. We finally asked another server to get our bill.

The food was good. But most of the menu looked like whatever else you could get beach side.

The view they advertised was marred by dirty wind barriers. The ceiling fans were rusted. The bathrooms were dirty.

Very disappointed. I don't understand why everyone raves about this place. Sometimes I think people around here think something's better because it's not a chain.

Blue is awesome! The Bisque, Sea Scallop Salad, French Dip, Wasabi Salmon, Chicken fingers all are delicious, I could go on and on. I (we) have never been disappointed, the atmosphere is relaxed, servers are friendly and of course there is the wonderful ocean view. A definite favorite place to eat for my family and friends! We are due for a visit, it's been almost a month since we were there :)

Favorite dining spot for real food! The price is right for the quality and portions of the food you receive! The servers are excellent, staff is friendly, and the cook even comes out to talk to you! I recommend lunch, only because of their crab cake sandwich and turkey sandwich.. both amazing! Atmosphere is awesome. Definitely a favorite in my book, and that is including St.Aug/Daytona Beach areas too! Come here and you won't be disappointed.

We love Blue! The atmosphere is fun, and the food is really good. We live in Atlanta, but when visiting relatives in Jacksonville, we make a point of going to Blue. They do amazing things with seafood, and the service is fast and friendly.

I grew up in Flagler Beach and at that time there wasn't anywhere REALLY good to eat, you had to drive to Daytona or St. Augustine. Chef Gary has really turned the options around though. I currently live 3 hours away but every time I visit family I make a stop at Blue. I most recently dinned there with my Grandmother, Aunt, 2 cousins and my sons. It was an incredible experience. My 9 yr old ordered the Blackened Sea Scallops Salad...he loved it! I ordered the Wasabi Horseradish Honey Crusted Salmon and all I can say it WOW! This dish definitely rivals any dish at Roy's Hawaiian Fusion! The rest of my dining partners has Fish Tacos and tell me they are to die for! The portions at excellent and more often than not I have leftovers. The value for the food is a steal!

I will be returning to Blue in July for my HS 20 year reunion and can't wait! Kudos to Blue for an excellent addition to Flagler Beach!

On the three or four visits annually to our friends in Palm Coast, our dining destination is a wonderful restaurant on Flagler Beach named Blue. Not only does it provide a beautiful view of the ocean, outstanding service, the cuisine is certain to have your taste buds dancing. I would highly recommend Blue to anyone who lives or is visiting the area.

There are not many first class restaurants in Palm Coast. Whenever I have a special occasion or just want a great meal I always end up at Blue. The combination of great food, good service, and an excellent seaside view make Blue the winner. My favorite is the salad with scallops. The chocolate cake and carrot cake is a killer. My only complaint would be that I eat everything on my plate and overindulge on the dessert. I'm looking forward for my next occasion to visit Blue.
