Parking was not easy to find and I can only imagine how hard it will be once the hotel opens, but once inside we were impressed by the warm welcome from the greeter who also turned out to be our server too, and was excellent. The restaurant has been done very well and has a nice open feel. The menu disappointed us though as it seemed limited with nothing really appealing to us. My husband just go a burger and I went with the crab cake sandwich. Hubby thought the burger was OK and needed more seasoning, and my sandwich was too mushy and needed more texture, although it did taste good. The food also took a long time to be delivered and the restaurant was not that busy. We hope they work on the menu and speed from the kitchen some more because Barnhill’s gets everything else right.

I got to try Branhill's for lunch today. The restaurant is much larger than I expected, with different levels, a nice bar, outside seating, and windows everywhere. I wish I had our server's name, but she was delightful and very patient with us. The menu is mostly breakfast items with some sandwiches and soups for lunch. I had a savory crepe with vegetables, which was large but the actual crepe had a different texture than any I've had before, and the veggies needed seasoning. The sauce on top was just like a marinara and nothing special. My friend had the crab cakes, which he liked but not that large and on a large bed of mostly arugula. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service, but we thought the food needed more attention and better variety on the menu.

Not a big menu, but breakfast was very good and the restaurant was most enjoyable. Nice to see a frittata offered which you don't see often around here and it was very tasty. Good customer service and very welcoming. I wish Barnhill's a lot of success.

Highlight of visit: The frittata was very good and my friend said his breakfast burrito was tasty.

Nice place with potential. Ordered the eggs benedict which was quite good but hollandaise sauce was almost broken and the potatoes needed browning and had that raw taste. My friend did the build your own omelet and said it was very good. Nice coffee. Server was not very attentive and everything felt like they were still learning the ropes and I'll give them time before returning.

We tried it here today and were impressed with the quality and taste of the food and professional customer service. They do a French Onion style crepe that has a red wine sauce which was very unique and delicious., and my husband enjoyed the Smach burger. The decor is pleasant with a nice open feel.

Nice new spot a block in from the beach... the restaurant is on the 2nd floor but views aren't too great... had a Maryland Benedict which has crab and was impressed... potatoes a little too salty for me... coffee latte was good... lots of flavors to choose from... professional staff... I'd visit again.

This place is fantastic and just what Flagler needed. A touch of downhome and upscale pulled off beautifully! Thanks Mr Barnhill.

Not how I expected it to be inside with a kind of wood cabin feel inside and lack of art, which I hoped for considering the owners own the gallery next door. Service was very professional and I just went for a burger as I had one of those cravings. Their signature burger is the Flagler Smash which is a 1/2 pounder in a brioche bun, and was although came with their house sauce, it was very much just a standard burger you can get anywhere. But it was tasty and did satisfy that craving. The fries are petal shaped and a little thin for me and my fat fingers. Overall I did enjoy I here and would like to return for breakfast with my SO.

My husband and I each had a bowl of soup. I enjoyed the Italian Wedding and he had the corn chowder. The food was tasty and portion reasonable- but we were disappointed that it was served without crackers, rolls or bread. We hope this changes when the restaurant is fully opened.

I really would give the food 4.5 stars, if I could. Their Smash burger was juicy, and flavorful - and the buttery onions were the perfect addition. The potato petals are unique. Crispy on the outside & fluffy inside. A fun side.

The only improvement I can think of is to make sure the tomatoes are ripe and taste like tomatoes before adding them & there is no way you can layer chunks of lettuce on a burger that enables a person to eat it. A couple of small tweaks & you would get a perfect rating.

BTW Karen took great care of us. And Manny delighted the birthday girl with a decadent chocolate croissant. 😎

Highlight of visit: Karen gave us part 1 of the two part tour. Manny made a great cappuccino. And the Chef was great - he came out to share the potato petal secret with us.

If breakfast is anything to go by, they're off to a good start. Great latte and had a wonderful crepe that looked as good as it tasted. Nice restaurant and terrific staff.
