Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen UNCLAIMED

This place is a joke. First time dining room closed, second time they were out of 4 sides, and 3rd time closed with workers hanging outside. It said closed because of lack of staff! Just close down and get it over with.

I waited to go here as it's been real crowded since opening. When I got there (12:30 pm) employees were leaving and business was closed. Chairs were on tables. Don't know why.

First ever visit to a Popeyes and was not impressed! Out of many things including chicken sandwich and fries, staff friendly but service very slow. It was very clean and lady was constantly cleaning up, but what good is a restaurant without most of its food? I'll wait until they get it together before I think about visiting again!

So I finally got to try what people waited hours in line for, some mediocre chicken sandwich!!! People seriously have that low expectation in their lives? They waited hours when they could of just driven 20 minutes to the next Popeyes! Defies all reasoning! But back to the food... it's an OK'ish sandwich that I wouldn't care if I ever ate again. The restaurant is new so still clean and staff still seem very enthusiastic. It's just really not all that!

What can I say? It's just another fast food joint! Visited to see what all the fuss was about and found the food to be as expected... frozen and fried chicken in a bun! But it tasted OK and the staff were extremely friendly to deal with and it was very clean. Would I go back? I doubt it, but I recommend if this is your thing.

Not many cars in line but was still very slow. Sandwich and fried chicken was not worth the wait! Food was only just warm and kind of soggy. I'll give it a while until it finds it feet.

I rated average all round because of their erratic hours and running out of food. When Chick-fil-A opened they had their act together much better with a lot of staff out in the drive thru taking orders and no problems running out. I guess Popeyes just doesn't have the same management and customer service skills.

There was about 12 cars in front of me at the drive through so went inside. They were out of the chicken I ordered but had spicy, so ordered that plus shrimp and got the food in about 40 minutes. The chicken tasted good and was very meaty. Shrimp wasn't as good but OK, I expect when the launch rush slows down this would be a much better experience.

The amount of time waiting for “drive thru” service is unacceptable! Absolutely ridiculous to have to wait 38 mins in a drive thru. So much for the “fast food” concept!

Definitely tastes much better than the other chicken place! The meat is so much better and doesn't have that 'processed' taste or texture. Long lines as it's newly opened but staff seem to cope very well. Once the 'rush' settles down I'll be come a regular for lunch.

Now THIS is what Fried Chicken should taste like. Absolutely the best... If you've had Fried Chicken at places like Cracker Barrel... shame on you! These people really know how to cook exceptionally good Chicken.

Highlight of visit: Everything about this place is top shelf!

Finally! I've never seen a line of cars at a fast food drive through so long it extended out to RT. 100 or a line of people inside the place that went the entire length of the place! It was worth the wait! The chicken sandwich was awesome! The chicken breast is juicy with a crispy coating and just the right bun. It is much larger & tastier (and not as salty) than the sandwich from that other place famous for it's chicken sandwich. The manager who took my order was friendly and courteous! I took 1/2 a point off because this location does not have Jambalaya on their menu, while all the Popeye's in Jacksonville have it.

Highlight of visit: The chicken sandwich is AWESOME! No hype! I also enjoyed the Cajun rice. I asked them to put gravy on it, which they did! Friendly courteous staff members! I will be back! Now if the can only add Jambalaya to their menu at this location, it would be PERFECT!

Off to a good start! It was packed today with traffic backing up and very long lines. I managed to finally get the infamous Chicken Sandwich (spicy) after about 40 minutes! But staff were enthusiastic and cheerful. As were the crowds who were excited and in good spirits even though they had long waits. Was the sandwich worth the wait? It was just a chicken sandwich from Popeye's LOL I've had better ones but it's just cool to have this in Palm Coast.
