This lady has been struggling since the new hotel construction started so I try to support her the best I can. We are not vegan but like to eat healthy as much as possible and we always enjoy the food here. Maria does her best and Back to Eden serves a need and fills a niche that no other restaurants in Flagler Beach do.

There are very limited vegan options in this area, so I stop here for lunch occasionally and always get a friendly welcome from Chef Maria. This is a very small cafe that doesn't have a full kitchen or cooking facilities, so the food is limited to more wraps, salads, sandwiches, etc., which are all very fresh, healthy and tasty. She also makes an amazing turmeric tea that should be tried. Chef Maria is worth supporting as she is the only one in Flagler County making the effort to bring true vegan food to the area.

Chef Maria is a wonderful soul and is very passionate about her food. I had her Krab Cake sandwich and it was superb, and my friend really enjoyed her wrap. The food is freshly prepared so it can take a little while, but Chef Maria is a good conversationalist and will keep you entertained while you wait.

Interesting place! It's very small with one table and a side shelf you can eat at. The server/owner/cook is very helpful and friendly. The food is healthy and vegan, tasted very good, and was filling. I'd go back to try other items.

We drove down from Palm Coast to find some vegan food. The Black bean Burrito was tasty and my friend liked her Kale Salad. It's a tiny shop with limited seating. Would like to see more cooked things on the menu but I don't think they have a full kitchen.

My wife and I try to eat meat free one day a week so we decided to stop in here for lunch. It's a one woman show so the menu is simple and mostly handhelds and quickly assembled foods, and the 'chef' is very personable and took the time to chat about her food. We both had sandwiches, I the black bean burger and my wife a vegan crabcake sandwich. My burger was good but needed a little more seasoning, but my wife's crabcake sandwich was very tasty and we were impressed that it was vegan. This is a very small cafe with just a few seats and some tables in the parking lot which didn't look appealing, but it has a lot of character and we left feeling better for ourselves.

Small shack and a little cluttered but it's very welcoming and the lady serving likes to chat. The menu is limited to mostly sandwiches and wraps and I ordered the Krab Kake Sandwich which was actually very tasty. Not sure what she uses for the krab but it was close to the real thing. It would be nice if they had a much better outside area to sit and eat, right now it needs some improvement.

A very small health food cafe with a sweet lady that's very passionate about the food she serves. She makes a delicious Vegan Cuban Sandwich and the Black Bean Burrito is amazing. You don't have to be vegan to enjoy the food here as it really is tasty enough for anyone to enjoy.

Highlight of visit: Maria the owner is wonderful and you can't go wrong with anything she makes.

Small place but welcoming and the food is very delicious. Made with fresh and nutritious ingredients and a lot of love this is tasty feel good food that is guilt free and you leave invigorated. My only complaints are that I wish they were open on weekends and that they had some kind of online menu or ordering system.

I like to eat plant based as much as possible and Back to Eden has some very good choices that are tasty, organic and fresh. Chef Maria is a darling and cares about what she does, and although the restaurant is very small it has some nice touches such as fresh flowers and a cheery atmosphere.

Thought they had closed as no one there on last two visits but then found out they do online ordering only and no dining in yet! So ordered on grubhub and although they had a very limited menu we had a burger and a wrap which were both quite tasty but would of been much better eaten right when prepared in the restaurant. Worked out rices so will wait until they reopen for dining in before I try here again.

Small quirky and somewhat disorganized place with quite good food. Usual offerings of bowls, wraps, smoothies, etc., and although it tasted good my sandwich was very messy and even had to eat with a knife and fork. My wife had a bowl and as much as we enjoy the natural flavors of the ingredients, they just weren't enough and needed more seasonings. The lady inside was very nice and we preferred to eat outside than in. We keep looking for a vegan restaurant that serves a 'real' meals instead of the cliched kale, bean and grain type offerings. I recommend as this is one of the few places to eat 'clean' in these parts and it does deliver and what it promises.

Nice lady with a big passion for what she does. Interesting little place with pretty good food and a message for peace and wellness. I am vegan and this is old school food for our community but it's good to have once in a while. Each visit it has got better here and I'll keep visiting when I'm in the area.

I like the passion of the owner and what she's doing, and although there's some hits and misses here it's worth a visit. My first taste was a smoothie and it was honestly awful, but the wrap I ordered was very good. Second visit I had a burrito which was tasty, however, the salad was kind of a mess and didn't taste too good. The counter around the edge of the restaurant was not very comfortable but they do have a couple of tables. The owner cooks for a cause and seems a little scattered but I appreciate her efforts and, as a vegan there aren't too many options in Flagler, so will visit again.

A cute cafe but somewhat cluttered inside and a little overwhelming at first. The lady/owner was eager to help and I ended up ordering a wrap and a smoothie. She seemed very flexible in customizing both items but I just thought I'd see what I get as is. The wrap was actually quite good and I enjoyed the filling much more than the actual wrap itself which I thought had an odd texture. The smoothie was very nice and I could easily get addicted to those. I'd visit again but try something other than the wrap.

My wife and I try to eat vegan at least four days a week so we visit here often. It's a cute little shack/cafe type of place and the lady inside is clearly very passionate about her food and enjoys sharing it with people. It seems a little disorganized at times but it kind of adds to the charm. Unfortunately, the owner does not communicate much on social media or online so you just have to go in to see what's on for the day. However, all food is made from scratch and worth checking out. Just don't go if you're short on time.

I'm a vegetarian and recently moved to the area and have had trouble finding good places to eat that understand my diet choice, and this is the first place that I've found that truly does. It's not exactly a fancy place and it's not perfect for veg heads like me as it still serves meat, but they have a good range of vegetarian and vegan options. I've been here twice and the food has been very tasty. It's made fresh and to order so it can take a while to arrive so don't go in expecting a quick eat and run. The lady in there makes you feel welcome and seems very passionate about what she does. Until we get a real vegetarian in the area this will certainly do for now.

I found this little place on yelp and the food in the pictures looked healthy and delicious so I had to check it out. When my girlfriend and I walked in we were greeted warmly and shown the menu. I chose the veggie burrito and she had the grape leaves. Our food came fairly quickly and was incredible! I would definitely come here again and will be recommending it to my all of my friends! Thanks for the tasty eats guys!

A friend and I stopped in for coffee and a bite. The owner was rude and seamed a little off. Wouldn't answer questions we had. We left to go to somewhere we we made welcomed. Thank you but no thank you. Do not go to this spot unless you want to feel abused.
